The parts usage on that scuba trooper is excellent!

I think that hair piece would be perfect for Cassian Andor. The hair on the official figure is too long in my opinion.
  3. Hello everyone! Here is a Batmobile inspired by the one seen in the Arkham Asylum game. I built this model a few years back and based it off the model by The Incinerator14 (unfortunately their Flickr seems to be gone now). My requirements for this model were that it must fit a Batman minifigure in a somewhat seated position and the cabin has to be able to open without removing parts. I was also able to make it shorter than a Batman figure and I included a detailed interior. I like how the model does not seem oversized in a picture like this alongside a Batman figure. I like how I got that modified part in there that covers up the bottom of the windscreen, kind of makes everything close up. The top hinges up at the back and the front also hinges up a bit to give clearance for the windscreen. A profile of the Batmobile. I only had the fenders in dark grey rather than black so I decided to just embrace it and put dark grey trim around the entire model. I like this shot with Batman's ears sticking over the top just to show that it is actually a reasonably sized car. Front shot, I think the stud shooters fit in pretty well. Rear shot, you can see the hinges for the windscreen and I like the shaping on the taillights. An interior shot, I was glad that I could fit in a steering wheel and some consoles. I was able to fit a lot of storage so I've got some batarangs and a grapple gun in there. Let me know what you think!

    [MOC] Dark Souls Mimic

Thanks! I toyed with trying to make everything fold up inside, but ultimately that would detract from the overall look.

[MOC/MOD] Death Star based on The Globe 21332

That would be tough, there is not much room for extra thickness with the internal design and it could make larger gaps but it's definitely worth trying. Just got to be careful that you don't spin off the laser effect The dishes exist, Studio doesn't seem to like lining up the clips and steering wheels that attach to the top. Since my main focus was adding the superlaser dish I didn't bother adding it. I may continue working on it and add more of the internal structure and the dishes that cap off the poles. Death Star II would be fun project, it's pretty easy to remove the individual sections of paneling to make the space needed for that MOD. Not sure that exhaust port would show up at this scale

[MOC/MOD] Death Star based on The Globe 21332

Thanks! I would love to, maybe once The Globe is released. Thanks, it took a few tries to get the dish right. Haha yeah, I was a bit surprised that no one beat me to it.

    [MOC] Dark Souls Mimic

Liar ahead! I built a mimic from the game Dark Souls, or at least most of one. You have to take some parts off, but it also works as a regular chest. Let me know what you think!
  8. Hello everyone! I have tried my hand at adapting the new set The Globe 21332 into a Death Star I model. This mostly involved colour swapping the exterior to grey and then adding the dish for the superlaser. It took a few attempts to get the dish set in correctly so that it doesn't stick out from the sphere. Next I filled in the gaps around the dish to close it all up. I also created a simple build to add the superlaser effect that is easily removable. Here it is without the super laser effect. There is still a bit of a gap around the dish, but it actually kind of fits with the rest of the gaps seen throughout the model. One last picture with the dish removed. You can see the attachment point and some of the shaping I put behind the dish to try and fill in some of the gaps. Let me know what you think!

    Rick and Morty Car

Here is my MOC of Rick's car from the show Rick and Morty. I have been working on and off on this MOC for a couple years now and I am sure more changes will be made. The interior is not designed for accuracy, but it can fit three figures inside. I know that the garbage can pieces are definitely too small for the rest of the ship, but I think they work great. Of course it must have the 3 wheels on the bottom so that we know that it's a car and not a spaceship. The Morty, Rick, and Summer figs I made for this MOC. I found the portal gun design on Reddit from u/pizzaincolor. Here's a breakdown of the build. The main "circular" shape is built out of the angled plates that made up the LEGO Dimensions portal. I was really happy with how the yellow slope builds fit right in between the wedge plates on hinges. I did end up using an illegal technique to get the gold tubes attached to the garbage cans. Here are some pictures of the progression of the MOC. I was very intrigued by Morty's bike spaceship from the penultimate episode and Rick's original spaceship so I may try my hand at those at some point. Any comments or suggestions are always welcome!

    [MOC] The Twilight

Hello everyone, The Twilight is Anakin Skywalker's ship in the majority of the clone wars TV show and while it may not be the sleekest one out there it has always been one of my favourites. Unfortunately I missed out on the official Twilight set and since then I have always wanted to build it. I knew that I didn't have the pieces in my collection to build a minifigure scale version of the Twilight so I put the idea off until I got the A-Team LEGO Dimensions pack and I immediately saw that the piece used as the spoiler on the back of the van mini build would be perfect for a micro-scale Twilight build. That set the scale and then the rest of the ship followed. I am pretty happy with it overall and I think it captures the feel of the Twilight quite well. One part I am trying to work on is a new design for the main wing because I don't really like how thick it is on my model so any suggestions there would be much appreciated. 12. Hello everyone, This is my first post and I am eager to share with you my interpretation of the Incredibile from the Incredibles movies. The Incredibles is one of my favourite movies and I have always been a fan of Mr. Incredibles sleek superhero car. We got a version of this as a Juniors set as well as a model in the LEGO Incredibles videogame, but I wasn't satisfied with that design. I found that it didn't really capture the overall feel of the car even if many of the details were correct. My design is fundamentally different than the one in the videogame. Some noticeable differences are the shape of the 'i' symbol on the front, the height of the side panels of the car, as well as the jet booster on the back and I also came up with a unique way of capturing the shape of the headlights. Photo 2020-04-22, 7 30 23 PM by Mr. Dufresne, on Flickr My goal with this build was to keep curves as smooth and continuous as possible. Photo 2020-04-22, 7 31 04 PM by Mr. Dufresne, on Flickr An important detail for me to include was the tapering of the car towards the back, I have always found this to be an iconic part of the shape. The back wheels are actually set in from the sides one more stud than the front wheels. Photo 2020-04-22, 7 32 09 PM by Mr. Dufresne, on Flickr I took some liberty here with having the base of the 'i' flare out, but I think that this really works well when translating it to LEGO and it allowed me to create the front grill using the sloped grill pieces. Photo 2020-04-22, 7 32 46 PM by Mr. Dufresne, on Flickr I knew once I found this black turbine piece in my collection that it was the piece I wanted to use although it was a bit of a hassle getting it attached to the rest of the car. I also really like how the modified piece in the middle there forms a sort of cowling around the turbine. Unfortunately I wasn't able to add the little wings on the side rocket pods because all the solutions I came up with took away too much from the shaping of the back. Photo 2020-04-22, 7 33 00 PM by Mr. Dufresne, on Flickr With all my car builds I like to include an interior with seating for at least two minifigures. I also included in here the screen Mr. Incredible has, which I always remembered was green, and a control panel for some of the gadgets. There is also some seating in the back however it is only tall enough back there for the Jack-Jack figure to fit.
