  1. I have started building a new ship, a brig in a semi-classic lego style, so here it is DSCN8382 DSCN8384 But it is not finished, I a not sure how to make the stern deck, and the captains cabin. DSCN8387 Also see if you can spot the lego set these pieces came from (except the cannons and a few misc parts) Your ships all look great, Bodi the ladder (if it is a ladder) should be a stud over IMHO, so it is no touching the cannon thingy! Legostone, very fancy gold details, and also a ladder well placed. I thin it would be good enough for licence without sails if you put decks and mast(s) on, but still up to Bregir I guess. Also what class do you think this would be? 4 or 5?

    A hemp 'plantation'

At his next stop, Jonah purchased a small plantation to grow hemp, and produce a (very small) income. DSCN8368 A build I improved recently, had it around half finished for a while before that. DSCN8360 DSCN8369 Any comments welcome, especially if anyone can tell me how to check my "account balance".

    A hemp 'plantation'

Thanks. Thanks guys, really appreciate the feedback. You are correct, this is one of my builds which I am not spending money on and I don't have the best collection for this (I have a lot of technic though). I will have a look for any other fitting minifigure heads, this is a great tip. Thanks again.
  4. Really nice build, I love the little doorway and the waterwheel. Is the gold grill something to do with irrigation?
  5. Right, been designing this on LDD, what do you guys think? ship 3

    New ship

DSCN8338 Jonah has finally reached land, and made his way to the nearest civilisation DSCN8340 But disaster strikes a nearby ship! *SNAP* DSCN8343 DSCN8346 Your ship m'lady. Thank you? Jonah Thank you Jonah. As a token of my gratitude, if you take the cargo ashore you can have it. I won't be needing it. What type of cargo? asked Jonah suspiciously. No no no, you can't have the cargo. I was offering you the ship. Just a short scene to introduce a very boring looking ship, hence the lack of photos. I haven't found a fitting name for it yet, any suggestions Hope the images worked.

    New ship

Well I got a cheap (free) tripod, and will use macro mode next time. Just more patience would have done it anyway but... I'm lazy when it comes to taking pictures. For this ship, I took inspiration from some pictures of Viking longships and similar, so no bowsprit. I am a sailor though, so I know a bit about ships.

Oleon: Sign-up and Discussion, Era II

Well I actually used a random number generator to chose between the two as I couldn't decide. So I'm sure the sea rats will be fine. After all, the gods know best! The back of my ship is done, but I need to think about the front. I'll have a look through the ship building topic and see if there are any tricks.

Oleon: Sign-up and Discussion, Era II

Thanks for making me feel so welcome. When I get round to photographing my ship, where should I put it?

Oleon: Sign-up and Discussion, Era II

Jonah. Just Jonah. Either he doesn't know his lineage or he prefers not to speak of it. After a childhood somewhere unknown, he cast off bow and stern to Oleon. That is, after Poseidon appeared to him of course. Not sure how active I will be, but I have some MOCs that need revisiting...
  13. Yes I have a YouTube channel, and I have already seen your channel and liked what I saw. What people said above was right, don't beg for subscribers (here).
  14. This is a great truck, and as you said earlier, So, as I am starting to build my own similar vehicle, I love the good documenting. But I have one question. I see your steering racks are connected directly (structurally) to the wheel portals. Does this mean the rack moves forward and back? If it does check out the pictures of my build, hopefully I will post them today. BTW I am saying this as an improvement for any future builds, not this one.
  15. I am also 13 now, but I have only just started my first big model... that reminds me, must get round to posting it.
  16. Great, that sounds like a brilliant build
  17. This is a brilliant build, I just wish you had built it as a PF vehicle without any pneumatics (I hate pneumatics). But otherwise it is amazing!
  18. I guess this will be my first post, so... *Awkward silence*
