    Original Bionicle vs CCBS discussion

The opinions of other people are not 'false'. Quoting people here is incredibly tough. What you said wasn't an opinion - a few anecdotes from trolls on the internet is not evidence. Uh, sorry for that, I guess?

  3. No offense, @GryffindorResistance, but your above list isn't exactly correct - in fact, it contradicts parts of what SvL has already said. Here's the list; none of what follows is new information, and I'm certain of everything sans the info in brackets. 4. I don't want to actively come off as rude, and I hope that this doesn't, but I think that I explicitly said that yesterday. :) I would lean in the direction of agreeing with ya. I really, really doubt that that's going to happen as the ratio of new molds to easy recognition of the characters isn't particularly high; that being hwta it is, however, I'd buy it. You'll be pretty safe if you bet on higher-quality images in the next six weeks. -Azani
  5. [The original Flickr poster is definitely legit. It's the same person who leaked the Rose figure with the new hat/hair mold. The Ninjago figures that you've seen before came from that fellow.] EDIT: My mistake; the original poster is a different fellow, who simply has access to the same minifigures. Regardless, I'm still pretty confident in the degree to which he or she is reliable.
  6. Posted 59 minutes ago by "xsilentcommando" I wouldn't trust that guy, based on the name alone. I don't have to, though; he's claiming that @Sir von Lego has confirmed that the 29.99€ set slated for January is Ach-To. Totally false.
  7. Alrighty. Everything that I know is from public (albeit obscure) information. I don't have any insider knowledge or anything like that on SW.
  8. Oh, maybe they are. In this case I don't know, no. If someone already explicitly said that they were, then I'd go with their word here.
  9. Well, there are two sets priced at 19.99 EUR according to Sir von Lego - 75195 and 75196, so there's still a solid possibility there.
  10. Source on 75201? The one that we know is Crait is 75202.
  11. I mean, I can see that. Personally, I liked the Chewbacca set quite a bit, but it isn't incredible by any means - I would say that most of G2 would blow it out of the water. And for the record, I hope that I didn't come off as sarcastic or rude; I started lurking here about a year ago, so I definitely don't know your thoughts or opinions super well. If I were to go off of the assumption that everyone in here must really like constraction, I would have avoided that one; for whatever reason, though, there are definitely more active constraction forums than these, and I've wondered why this is the case for a while now. I really try to be positive, though, as I think that it's pretty incredible that we're still getting what we are seeing each year. And I definitely think that the sets are improving significantly, in one way or another, each wave. Still curious about Darth Maul.
  12. I'm sure, but I don't want to risk spoiling anything major. I hope you understand where I'm coming from here. Thank you, and yes, I believe that it is based on the name.
  13. Yeah, I pulled some of that because I realized that it was a lot of future info at once. Apologies for the inconvenience; I mostly thought that you guys would like to know what 75202 was. :)
  14. 75202 - Carver with White Planet Trench
  15. Thanks, Aanchir, additionally, I found these on Friday but forgot to mention 'em over here. Looks like you were right about the gearbox. Custom gearbox? "Place the Boba Fett bounty hunter in a fighting pose and get into action! Adjust its antenna and orient it downward to target its prey. Weapon the sniper rifle, then fly into the air with its powerful jet pack with built-in missile launcher." and "Reign over the galaxy with Darth Vader! Put on his cape and grab his red lightsaber. Then place him in a fighting pose and turn the wheel to move his arms. Once victory is gained, remove the helmet from the Dark Lord to reveal his scary face!" Hey, we appreciate your positive vibes. :) Quite seriously, I don't think that there's a lot to back up these complaints; sure, Chewbacca and DV are both a little overpriced, but the former was genuinely one of the best SWC sets to date. I'd say that he was worth 30 USD/EUR, and I expect the new DV to be similar, in all honesty. Serious apologies if I'm missing something, but what did you like so much about constraction in the first place? Tbh I've never heard you say anything positive in here.
  16. No problem. Glad that I was able to help out. Not sure if this is noteworthy or useful at all, but I found all of the EAN codes for these sets on another Dutch website. Are those qualifying as useful information around here?
  17. A couple of things... I might see that happening in a smaller set that's not a battle pack, but it doens't really seem like any four unique, named, figures, much less those ones, would fit snugly into the battle pack niche. Counting off of what we definitively know, I'd predict that we'll see Rose in a slightly larger set than what we got in 75176 this fall, just to balance things out. It may be 75201. Additionally, we know that 75201 was codenamed "zulu" at some point along the line, because of that Dutch shop site that Tidy discovered a few pages back. A quick scan of the source code identifies that set as 75201.
  18. I know, right? I mean, we can discern that his torso is partially custom, as there's a 4 or 5M A shell near the lower part of his crotch, but there's got to be more of a stylistic detail or function. He'll also be taller than 2015 DV (hopefully).
  19. That being what it is, it sounds like you two agree.

LEGO Star Wars 2017 Pictures and Rumors

Well, we've known about the presence of Porgs on the Falcon for several months now, since before 75192 was announced; I can definitely see your point, however.

    First Generation Bionicle Rebuilds

Particularly in light of G2's end, these are really evocative of the style of the early years. It gives off a nice vibe that balances greebles with a cohesive, genuinely real-to-life design. Going off of your Tahu and Onua designs, its very clear that the personalities are captured very well. I'm quite a fan of the others as well, of course. :)
  22. Unfortunately, it's not an image of the actual set. At the time, there was a brief misunderstanding. As I've heard, we'll be seeing a Sandspeeder of some kind - do we have any details on the approximate scale/price point of that? Apologies if I missed the news.

    Future Constraction Lines

If I had to hazard a guess, I would suspect that it was just supposed to be a joke.

    Original Bionicle vs CCBS discussion

You didn't state opinions. Rather, you claimed that CCBS was poorly recieved and not useful with technic, which is false. I know that it's not fun to hear that some things that you said are wrong, but you have to start to learn to take responsibility for what you say.
