  1. Heck yeah. :) Hey, no worries, man! Welcome to the thresd! I've just barely caught that that set - 75219, the one that was codenamed Gorgon, will be done kind of vehicle. That being said, man, I can certainly see the parallel with the tentacle monster. Funny as it were, one of my initial theories was that Gorgon was Jabba. Nope. Sorry man, but not even slightly; total nonsense. I'll be doing my best to make sure that this doesn't start making the rounds. :/ First of all, that's not what they said. Second of all, they updated their post over on VK.com with a statement that reads "Update: this is not correct" - three or four hours ago. Third, I know for a fact that 75538 and 75539 are coming, at least in Europe, because they're being listed online by many, many retailers. Not going to lie, it's almost too many to count. All of the system sets are being listed as well. Lucky you. It's complete nonsense. :)
  2. Yeah; it's a nice attempt, but it's certainly a bit rough. As a rule, I'm usually able to get his arms to do the whole "elbow up, elbow down" deal if you hold him at a slight angle forward - TLG might have been operating off of the expectation that kids will be doing that. Yeah, man. Aw... As much as I'd like to say otherwise, it's looking as though 75538 Super Battle Droid and 75539 Clone & AT-RT will only see release in the EU. That's how it's looking ATM. And to think that this guy still posts in this forum... I still claim that, dude. There's no evidence to support the idea that they don't sell well. All that we know is that TLG is still making them. Funny how that works, right? :) I've legitimately never heard you say anything positive about constraction... do you enjoy doing this online?
  3. I'd suspect as much as well; IIRC 75219 is a Kessel-focused set, based on the codename. (Gorgon)

    Lego BrickHeadz 2018 - Rumors & Discussion

Yup; thanks, man. Just as a note, because I'll be offline for a bit: I'm aware that those two were rumored to be Luke and Leia, respectively. As of this week, I have undeniable evidence that shows that those two are Mickey and Minnie. I would certaionly understand if there is skepticism, but in this case, I am 100% certain. :)
  5. Dude, I know, right? You'd think that they'd have the tech to negate the need for a legit "fur coat". By the way, my apologies if this has been discussed, but 75203 will be coming in the second half of the year. It's around 40 EUR.

    Harry Potter 2018 - Rumors & Discussion

Y'know, yeah; it's certainly a possibility. Man, that would be awesome. :) Well, the overall impression that I got from that was that SvL was doing his best to answer the questions of all the HP fans to the best of his ability. It's certainly an incredibly vague statement for anyone to make, irrespective of we already knew. In all honesty, I wouldn't place any value on it in and of itself. No... the largest set (with the exception of that awesome Diagon Alley kit that was released in 2011) was always "Hogwarts Castlk". Incidentally, the Great Hall is the largest single "chunk" of the castle, but TLG obviously has no control over that. It'll always stand a the "biggest set of Hogwarts itself". We will be getting a separate "Hogwarts Castle" kit this Fall.

Jurassic World 2018 - Rumors and Discussion

I'm 99% sure that there are two JWFK Brickheadz kits. 41613 and 41614 are both coming in April, and without saying too much, the codename for 41614 implies that it is the second of a pair. I don't believe so, but I might be wrong here. Amen to that, man. Looking back to the 2015 sets... :)
  9. They've certainly been around for as long as EB has existed. Please no.
  10. Y'know, I'm pretty certain that that's what "Gorgon" is. You guys are really excited about this; man. :) I wouldn't be sure, but I do believe that the Y-Wing is happening.

    Harry Potter 2018 - Rumors & Discussion

That's a whole different story, because that can't easily be proven wrong. That said, there's nothing to suggest that that was a lie. :)

    Harry Potter 2018 - Rumors & Discussion

Nope. I don't regret what I said at all. I'm laughing at the idea that there are people (like you) who are uninformed enough to not understand that TLG changed their minds.

    Harry Potter 2018 - Rumors & Discussion

Hey, dude. No need to be a d%ck about it. I was 100% certain, without a doubt, and with absolutely zero room for error. Why? Because TLG literally said so, definitively. They didn't say, "maybe". They said "definitely". The fact that they changed their minds is bizarre, but anyone with a shred of a brain could determine that there's no way that any of us could have possibly seen that coming. Unfortunately, you don't seem to fit in there. I'd be wary of comparing me to Nekchir, or even hinting at the idea that I might not know what I'm referring to. Because I do, and you don't. Funny, right? Cheers.

    Lego BrickHeadz 2018 - Rumors & Discussion

I assumed (very reasonably) that everyone knew of those two already. That's why they weren't included. However, it's no big deal. Lemme add those in.

    Lego BrickHeadz 2018 - Rumors & Discussion

Yup; Han and Chewie are 41608 and 41609, respectively. :)

    Harry Potter 2018 - Rumors & Discussion

Nope. The only evidence that I have is that it's literally called the basilisk, but that's enough evidence to pretty much instantly discredit any theories here. :/ That said, yeah, it really doesn't make any sense...

    Harry Potter 2018 - Rumors & Discussion

In three to four months. The existence of these pictures is incredible, completely unexpected, and a real treat that we should all be grateful for IMO. :)
  18. Really? Oops; looks like that got out quick. :/

    Lego BrickHeadz 2018 - Rumors & Discussion

    We don't know the USD prices for 41618 (Anna & Olaf) or 41627 (Luke & Yoda). 15 is simply a guess; however, yeah, it seems pretty legit to me. What about it? I'm the source. :P Cool, right? Here's how it's going to go: April 41608 - Han Solo™ 41609 - Chewbacca™ 41614 - [JWFK Dualpack], $20 July 41615 - [Harry Potter Dualpack], ~$15 41616 - [Harry Potter], $10 41617 - [Elsa], $10 41618 - [Anna & Olaf], ~$15 41619 - Darth Vader™, $10 41620 - Stormtrooper™, $10 August 41621 - [IP], $20 Not Sure 41610 - [IP], $20 41611 - [IP], $20 41622 - [IP] 41623 - [IP] 41624 - [Disney], $10 41625 - [Disney], $10 41626 - [Marvel Dualpack] October 41627 - [Luke & Yoda], ~$15 41628 - [SW], $10 41629 - [Boba Fett], $10

    21314 - LEGO® TRON: Legacy

That sounds about right. Looking forward to this! I'm sure that my dad will love it as well. :) I'm fairly certain that the Tron set will see its general release between April and June. On this one, my apologies for being unable to narrow that down further.

Jurassic World 2018 - Rumors and Discussion

Yeah, that's certainly feasible. We can expect to see three more SYSTEM sets outside of the five that have been revealed/leaked, but I don't know if they are all JP "kits" offhand. Yeah, there's potential for a pretty broad selection of figs/dinosaurs at the price points that the three sets are at. :P I don't know the exact prices off the top of my head, but the cheapest of the three is about $45 or $50 US, and the most expensive is around $110.
  22. Yeah, that looks to be confirmation of @Praetorian_Guard's assertion. Release dates can vary pretty significantly from region to region, but I do know that the US will be seeing the sets on April 20th - that's a hard, locked-in date. For the rest of the world, I'm not really sure.

Marvel Superheroes 2018 - Set Discussion

IIRC it would be the first time that a "UCS" kit had been exclusive to retailers from the time of release - but it's not a UCS set, so it's all hypothetical, right? Anyone can call it whatever they'd like, of course; I thought that I'd toss my two cents in. :)

Marvel Superheroes 2018 - Set Discussion

No, it's only being sold at Walmart (at least over in the states). As a supplementary note, we would have heard everything about it much earlier if it were simply an additional mainline set. I'm not 100% sure, but all the evidence seems to point toward that right now. If it makes you feel any better, I'm not totally sure as to what's going on here as well.

Marvel Superheroes 2018 - Set Discussion

I believe that it's actually the store exclusive; off of that, either 76106 or 76109 would be the D2C. This would be an excellent time to stop calling it the UCS Hulkbuster.
