The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion

I can't complain given what this theme has given us this year, but still, we only got two different types of new Trans-yellow canopies across the two waves for this year, those being the brand new windshield piece for the Batmobile and printed and unprinted smaller X Wing canopies. Don't get me wrong, they're both great and getting three of the X Wing canopies in The Ultimate Batmobile is icing on the cake, but I look at The Scuttler and wonder how come designers had left the pilot cockpit and engine cover canopies just in Trans-Black. Perhaps they would have stuck out in an unsightly way though, so maybe they might have originally been considered. Looking at the Bat vehicles featured in the Making of TLBM book, they should have given the Bathawk helicopter (if it is indeed coming in a third wave set) a Trans-yellow canopy to make up for the Scuttler's missed opportunity of producing that same canopy in that color. Anyways, enough rambling from a slightly disgruntled part time Classic Spacer.

Future DC Super Heroes Rumors & Speculation

Well shucks, that head/hair color combination could be repurposed for that too.

Future DC Super Heroes Rumors & Speculation

A comic based DC set not leaning on either Batman nor Superman is quite unexpected, but its nice and I hope this will continue as a trend. I hope, like the last wave of comic based JL sets for 2015, that we could get some new colored canopies in these sets. The 2015 sets gave us new Trans-Blue, Trans-"Ice Planet" Orange, and Trans-Neon Green canopies along with the transparent wing parts for the Invisible Jet and GL jet.

Predictions for LEGO BrickHeadz Series 2

It almost looks like DCEU Wonder Woman is portrayed there, since the figure is built with dark brown hair. But the 1 by 1 tile representing the tiara's star suggests otherwise.

Future DC Super Heroes Rumors & Speculation

I could see her using the Ghost Rider head/hairpiece mold.

The Future of Lego Space. (opinions, ideas, discussion)

I think one of the great things about a GARC theme would be the colorful variety of space racecraft, not being limited to just two opposing factions with their own uniform color scheme. Think of all the different colored canopies that would come in this single theme! I can hope, perhaps that 2019's The Billion Brick Race, described as a Wacky Races, Cannonball Run type movie, could touch upon this genre if the film were to venture into space at any point.

    Space Police III Commando Ship

Another great creation, the angled prongs give it a X Wing vibe! Though one thing, why no SP3 color scheme?

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion

I've posted this concept art before, and it might not be the final product design, but perhaps close.

The Future of Lego Space. (opinions, ideas, discussion)

Though I'm pretty sure no Classic Space let alone System fans would be interested, I'm surprised Lego have not done any Space or Classic Space type sets for the Duplo theme. The closest Duplo have touched upon anything space related are Disney Junior Miles From Tomorrowland sets (set no. 10824-10826). Now as far as my initial comment about fans' interest in Duplo, I remembered this CS spaceship made by Peter Reid (Flickr user Legoloverman) that utilizes a Trans-yellow Duplo canopy from an older Duplo helicopter set.

    LEGO Ninjago 2017 Discussion

Nice! This craft caught my eye when the first trailer dropped, as a sort of Alien Conquest like, retro saucer craft. Many have complained we didn't seem to get many villain/henchmen craft, so here we go!

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours

My guess is that we won't see Disney S2 until Jan. 2020 at the earliest, since 2018 seems to be out of the question, and I'm pretty sure 2019 will be taken up by CMSs for TLM2 and The Billion Brick Race for Jan. and May, with Sept. presumably given to S19. Lego has not skipped a regular CMS for a whole year yet.

Third 2016 LEGO Ideas Review - Guessing Game

The problem is, its too similar to the upcoming Old Fishing Store, and this project and a few climbing to the 10K mark are sort of successors to it.

Survey: New parts and new colors

Bright Orange is a pretty yellowish shade of orange, while this proposed color would lean more towards Bright Red. It would be for solid colors what Transparent Fluorescent Reddish Orange is to Transparent Bright Orange.

    HELP! ! !

Thanks for that! I initially scanned through the forum index topics but couldn't find anything close to answering the question.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours

For licensed CMSs, I think Lego should stick with broader franchises like Disney as opposed to CMSs based on a single film, with the exception of Lego Cinematic Universe films. If successful, these CMSs can produce many follow up CMSs whereas a single film centric one can maybe muster up two. Some franchises that could be good candidates for this would be the Hanna Barbera and Looney Tunes licenses from WB, or as a licensed successor to S14, Universal Classic Monsters, which might be popular especially in light of Universal's developing Dark Universe.

From what you could make out, what colors or perhaps identifiable pieces made up the Space Hog?

Strange color choices, is this based on a particular comic version or is it original to the show?

I've tinkered around but still can't figure this out, but how do you "mention" a Eurobricks user in a post?

I like the wider shoulder idea, I've envisioned a similar concept with a new torso with the same angle as sides of the traditional torso, but they would flair outwards, resembling somewhat an upside down traditional torso. Something like that could have used for Mr. Incredible or Syndrome, that cartoonish oversized upper body look.

Oh, so were getting a UCS BB8 instead. I didn't know that either!

[MOC] UCS Batmobile (Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice)

I would love to see a motorized version of this! I've said in a different thread before that if Lego were to make a UCS version of the DCEU Batmobile, I would prefer a RC Technic version over a system one, since its design seems best suited for that Technic panel look. But now I'm rethinking this. I have that 2006 UCS one, and I wish Lego could make similar multi inspiration type Batwing as a successor.

Survey: New parts and new colors

As far as colors go, one particular blank spot in Lego's color spectrum I think needs to be filled is a solid reddish orange color (example pictured below) that sits in between Bright Orange and Bright Red. It would be the darker equivalent of Flame Yellowish Orange, which sits between Bright Yellow and Bright Orange on the spectrum.

I have a small handful of Sand Red parts, mostly 2 by 3 slopes, but no Sand Purple, which of the two I'm more interested in. But they were both interesting, but short lived colors, somewhat unfortunate they weren't utilized more before the 2004 Lego Group house cleaning. I don't have either a eBay or Bricklink account to sell bricks, and I'm currently not interested in selling or trading bricks now, primarily because most are unsorted.

Yes, it was used in the 2015 Gorilla Grood set for the Invisible Jet, and is being reused for another Invisible Jet in a summer DC Girls set.

The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part

The newer animation style adopted by TLBM and TLNM, that uses a sort of freeform, joint less minifigure animation, is not that bad. At least it is not that lazy TT Games style animation. But I hope TLM2 stays with its initial stiffer animation style like the first film for consistency. http://screenrant.com/lego-movie-2-original-ending-will-ferrell-fourth-wall/ I've shared this article on the 2017 Sci-Fi Discussion thread, since the article speculates that Chris McKay's "space" comments about TLM2 make actually be referring to the "fourth wall" element mentioned by Chris Pratt above. If true, this would be very unfortunate for those hoping for the initially theorised "space" sequel.
