Purist Superhero Figures
Digger of Bricks replied to sok117's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Over on the Collectable Minifigure Series 20 Discussion topic, @Huigberts Builds mentioned how the new Cool Yellow recolor of Hermione's hairpiece introduced for the Pajama Girl CMF might work well for Supergirl... That's a pretty good idea if you ask me, as it'd particularly work well for a roughly purist take on the current look sported by the CW's Supergirl... -
I'm really glad to see Soldier 76's hairpiece finally get a recolor, and Hermione's hair recolored in Cool Yellow looks quite nice! Over at The Brothers Brick, they've got a good look at all those mentioned CMF and their respective recolors...

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 20. Rumors and discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Given that unexpected little NASA tie-in that the "Rocket Girl" CMF has with the printed cylinder brick there making up the midsection of the rocket build, I just realized that if we ever see a female counterpart to Series 15's Astronaut in a future Series, the figure just might have NASA branding rather than that of Classic Space. That, kinda annoys me. -
BTW @Robert8, have Series 20's offerings changed up any plans you've laid out for further Series down the road?

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Digger of Bricks replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I forget that the third Fantastic Beasts movie is slated for Fall next year as @gedren_y just mentioned, so perhaps a third Wizarding World CMS will instead be allotted for then as a tie-in. Hmmm, the Billion Brick Race was unfortunately shelved due to TLG and WB breaking their cinematic partnership ties as so to move-on over to Universal Pictures, presumably to start up another cinematic universe. -

Digger of Bricks replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I know we just had the Johnny Thunder homage with Series 19's Jungle Explorer, but yeah, I do wish this Series offered at least one contribution to the CMF Adventurer-Verse. I mean really, come on, I've been waiting way too long for an Aviatrix CMF... -

Oooooh, I've forgotten about this project! It's not often you see Adventurer-themed projects submitted to LEGO Ideas, and this is a pretty sweet one considering... Heads up to @The Reader if he's around, as he'd definitely take some interest in this one...- 8 replies

THE PIRATE BAY IS GOING TO BE AN OFFICIAL LEGO SET!!!!
Digger of Bricks replied to Another Brick In The Wall's topic in LEGO Pirates
You know, I wonder if at least one of the finalized product's minifigures will be donning a recolor of the new tricorn/ponytail combo piece from Series 20... -
I was quite flabbergasted to see Series 20's Pajama Girl with a stuffed bunny of all things... ...seriously, could TLG be taking notes, or am I missing something? So true, so true...

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Digger of Bricks replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
So, I know we've just had our first look at Series 20, but does anyone here want to take a gander at what point next year Series 21 might released? Personally, I'm feeling we might end-up waiting for as long as we did between the releases of Series 18 and Series 19, with a release perhaps around August/September 2021? -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 20. Rumors and discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I've seen a few commentators elsewhere sum-up the Series in this way: It'd be an alright Series 21, but it's a lousy Series 20. Seriously, for as lame as I consider Series 18 to be for particular reasons, it did put effort into commemorating the milestone it honored, even celebrating the legacy of the Collectable Minifigure theme despite the Minifigure's 40th Anniversary instead being the focal point. I mean, I know one could say that Series 20 had a hard act to follow trying to top Series 18's act, but it didn't need to, yet it's own commemorative effort in marking this milestone is still so damn apathetic. OK, trying to get past that lament, how do I at least feel about its individual offerings now that we've finally have images? Well, for me the strongest CMF in this Series has to be the "Red Ranger" so to speak, as the Pirate Lass and Viking that I was originally the most excited for just aren't all that I'd hoped they'd be. Other than that, my second favorite next to the "Red Ranger" is probably the Pajama Girl, who's new stuffed bunny mold and Hermione hairpiece recolor make the figure quite worthwhile. -

I actually didn't expect the "Red Ranger" to be nearly that "on-the-nose" with the Power Ranger look... On the other hand, the Pirate and Viking are plainer than I thought they'd be... -
