LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 20. Rumors and discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Oooooh, interesting, so I'm presuming it's another "FigBarf" CMS made-up of preexisting physical parts and prints? -
I think that'd be best; and while it could be left here on this subforum and broadened to welcome suggestions for figures outside of the Collectable Minifigures, we already have individual wishlist topics for every other theme besides the Collectable Minifigure theme, so it might as well stay particular to future CMF suggestions. For that matter, could it perhaps be retitled to be more clearly particular to such, maybe renamed something like LEGO Collectable Minifigures - Ideas and Future Suggestions?

Say @Jim, should the former Embassy topic What Minifigs are we Missing be instead moved to the Special LEGO Themes subforum? Historically, mods have always cited CMF wish-listers to this topic rather starting another one; and after all, Collectable Minifigure discussion topics belong in that subforum.

Latest impact of other themes on historic themes
Digger of Bricks replied to Wardancer's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
You know, I could see the new ponytail/tricorn hat combo mold introduced with Series 20's upcoming "Pirate Lass" CMF being recolored for a Minuteman/Paul Revere-inspired CMF in a future Series... -
LEGO Ideas Discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to The Real Indiana Jones's topic in General LEGO Discussion
By the way, does anyone here figure we could see further "future product" contests hosted on LEGO Ideas similar to the most recent "Vote for the Next Star Wars UCS" one? I know we had a couple of smaller "Gift-With-Purchase" contests hosted there previously, but never one of that kinda scale from what I'm aware of. I highly doubt LEGO would include them in the finalized set though... The head molds are probably out of production at this point. I guess it is surprising that we haven't seen the mold reused for at least a CMF, as that'd be an apt place to revive it... -

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Digger of Bricks replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Well, I'd imagine whatever Series planned for release in January 2021 would have its development fast-tracked as so to move it up to Aug/Sept 2020. -
My goodness, that really would've been quite the surprise! Would you've selected those sixteen suggestions based upon your own personal likening, or would reoccurrence of suggested archetypes not yet covered been a factor?

LEGO Ideas Discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to The Real Indiana Jones's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Thanks so much! Clearly there is still a demand for more Indiana Jones sets! If nothing else, I hope LEGO notices that! I'm quite certain Lego is planning on reviving the theme next year in some capacity to tie into the cinematic release of the fifth installment. It's not often you see original "vehicular sculpture" MOCs of a more fantastical nature submitted to LEGO Ideas, and I certainly wasn't expecting to see one inspired after Vincent Gashod's work there... -

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 20. Rumors and discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
The rumor was first reported by Brick Fanatics, and rather surprised me as I'd previously figured that any follow-up to the first Series would've been reserved to coincide with the release of the third Fantastic Beasts film. I suppose Brick Fanatics' source could've first caught wind of plans for a follow-up before the "threequel" had been moved back a year, and Lego followed suit? Can @Falconfan1414 by any chance weigh-in on this? -

What minifigs are we missing - post your detailed suggestions here
Digger of Bricks replied to CopMike's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Aviatrix/Aviatress * Gender: Female. Occupation/print on torso: Dark Tan 1920's double-breasted flight suit with Dark Brown buttons and belt. Plus, Sand Blue recolor of TLNM Jay's scarf. Type of headgear: Dark Brown aviator's cap with Metallic Silver goggles clipped on. Type of facial expression: Subtly wry, confident smile. Color on torso/legs: Dual-molded Dark Tan legs with Dark Brown boots and gun holster printed onto side of right leg. Accessory: New Luger-inspired handgun mold in Titanium Metallic. * This is a revisitation/revision of an earlier suggestion I made, this time primarily based upon/inspired after Karl Kopinski's character design as pictured below. Future Action and Adventure Themes
Digger of Bricks replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Going back to my reply to @Lego David's skepticism, I also want to add that like Ninjago, a broadly-encompassing evergreen Pulp Adventure theme needn't set itself within the real-world historical context that it'd be taking inspiration from, as it could instead be set within a retro-futuristic fantasy universe/alternate history much like Ninjago had done, thereby allowing Lego to cherry-pick the best aspects the genre has to offer, all the while avoiding the more problematic ones that'd be harder to steer around if such a theme were to be set within the real-world historical context that most Pulp Adventure Fiction is associated with. -

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 20. Rumors and discussion

So, what are Leaf, IP-2 and Zebra?
Digger of Bricks replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Say @Falconfan1414, I'm not sure if this has been addressed or asked about before, but are you aware if "Zebra" is exclusively a licensed "anthology" theme (given that it's housing both Marvel and Disney sets), or is it also open to sets that aren't attached to any particular IP? -

I'm certain it'd be fitting to mention over on the Licensed Index, though I wouldn't say the same personally for the Action & Adventure Themes subforum, which I'm pretty sure there isn't an index topic for such anyway?- 222 replies

BTW again Robert, have you ever considered a Steampunk/Vernian Astronaut before, something in the vein of Jules Verne's From the Earth to the Moon?
