Marvel Superheroes 2019 - Rumours, Speculation & Discussion

Finally seeing these sets is so exciting! Quinjet looks pretty good, but the minifigures seem like a letdown. Kinda dissapointed with no Ronin in the quinjet. Hopefully he'll show up in the largest set. Still looking forward to seeing a possible Avengers Compound.

Where can we find the photos of Cap's set and the quinjet? Constantly reloading #legoleaks on instagram is pretty tiring, and i'm starting to get pretty desperate!
  3. Does anyone know how much the Conveyex will cost? I was putting together an order of new HP sets to get the double VIP points at the beginning of August, and after seeing it on the back of the calendar, figured I might pick it up.

    Justice League Flying Fox Moc/Mod

After seeing images of the Flying Fox, as seen in the upcoming Justice League film, I was very excited to see what Lego's rendition of it would look like. Sadly, I was somewhat disappointed. The build is sturdy, which is a great thing, however, it was also quite ugly and inaccurate. I picked the set up after my birthday, and was pleasantly surprised. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Steppenwolf's head and torso molds are accurate and intricately detailed, and the Flying Fox itself was surprisingly fun to build. As soon as I built it, I knew I would modify it. I have already modified the Batmobile and Steppenwolf, and they look great. So, I would like advice for the Flying Fox. I know there aren't many pictures of it, but the overall design has been revealed. Hopefully we will get some great shots of it during the movie, but we do have a few images. So, here's what I want to build: About 1.5 to 2 times bigger than the original set A spacious and large interior, with room for the Batmobile and a command center for the League A lever-activated feature (ideally using a rubber band) that will launch the Batmobile out of the Fox A small 2nd floor command center that hangs above the Batmobile, with computers and a chair Front and back hatches that can open easily, but can be held in place A cockpit that opens up with room for most of the League Wings (see below) with spring loaded shooters, and large engines Lots of angles to make it look interesting I have an excess amount of black pieces, so I don't have many limitations for building. Any suggestions would be amazing! Thanks for your time!

    Marvel Cinematic Universe

Must sees are AoU, Civil War and Ragnarok, but if you have time, Black Panther, Doctor Strange and Homecoming are good ones for catching up on other characters.

Marvel Superheroes 2018 - Set Discussion

Just a quick thought- In Series 18 CMF, the red-brick suit guy has the Bruce Wayne/Ulysses Klaue hairpiece in dark brown. Could that work for IW Cap? If anyone has a picture of them combined, that would be great. Thanks!

Marvel Superheroes 2018 - Set Discussion

If you mean these, yeah I would love to see one of them in a set, full scale, not like the small one in 76101. I've been thinking of making one myself. Here's my idea for a set: Around $130, 800 pieces Includes Outrider Command Ship, with shooting spring-loaded shooters, Outrider-dropping function, and a opening hull with a command center for Thanos Wakandan Transport (Seen in trailers) with opening hatches, and pop-out stud shooters Wakandan Wall, with large opening gate, and raising/rotating turret with 6 stud shooter and spring loaded shooters. Small forest on end of wall, with "jumping" function for a minifigure (Cap not included). Various destruction features in wall. Interior of wall has weapon racks, and a small command center showing approaching ships Minifigures- Black Panther(Unmasked), Bucky (White Wolf), War Machine, Scarlet Witch, Hulk (parts of Hulkbuster scattered around set), Thanos, Proxima Midnight, Corvus Glaive, 4 Outriders (Sorry about the quote, never used it before)

Marvel Superheroes 2018 - Set Discussion

After picking up 76101 (Outrider Dropship Attack) the other day, I realized I was not completely satisfied with the Cap/Nomad figure after seeing this pic: Do you think that the Steve Trevor hairpiece from 76075 (WW Warrior Battle) would work better? Any help would be great. Thanks!

What was the last movie you watched?

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. Once crazy deep and emotional movie. Woody Harrelson and Sam Rockwell shone, but Francis McDormand was just an amazing force of nature. 100/10!

Marvel Superheroes 2018 - Set Discussion

I don't know if this is in the right place, but I was wondering if the quinjet cockpit stickers on 76032 (AOU Quinjet City Chase) and 76051 (CW Airport Battle) were clear-backed? Any help would be great. Thanks!

What was the last movie you watched?

Shape of Water and Maze Runner: Death Cure. Shape of H2O was beautiful and one of the best movies I've ever seen. Death Cure ended the underrated series in an amazing way, even though it was completely different from the book. Sad to see it end.

Marvel Superheroes 2018 - Set Discussion

Sets look amazing, especially the Sanctum Sanctorum, but isn't the escape pod in the Thor set supposed to connect to the back of the Milano? That would look quite odd.

Marvel Superheroes 2018 - Set Discussion

If you were to use Steve Trevor's hairpiece from 76075 on Nomad, it would probably look right. Other than that, great minifigures!

    LEGO Nexo Knights 2018

These are all released on November 27th, right? I thought it said so on the back of the December calendar. Just wondering, since these all look like they are worth buying after x-mas

This is by far the best rendition of the shuttle that I've seen. It's absolutely beautiful.

DC Superheroes 2017 - Set Discussion

Built the Knightcrawler last night, and I have mixed feelings. The problems start with Batman himself. The printed black legs are a huge disappointment, and I think his skin tone is too dark. The Flash and the Parademons are amazing, and its nice to get a extra pair of wings. Then, the Knightcrawler. Oh boy. I would give Lego a little paper certificate saying "At least you tried" for this one. If I was a little kid, then I would probably love the set. The set itself isn't terrible. 622 pieces and 4 high quality minifigures for $50 is a great deal. The problem is, the set isn't accurate to the version in the movie. The Knightcrawler in the set features a color scheme of Black and light-bluish grey, dark tan, and trans-red for the cockpit, whereas the movie version has a color scheme for what seems to be gun-metal grey and trans-black/brown for the cockpit. Since Lego does not have enough parts in gun-metal grey, I think that they should have stuck with black, even though they don't have the same pieces in black, co they would need to re-color some parts. One of my major problems with the set is the driver's area. In the movie, the Knightcrawler has at least 5 windows (3 facing forward and 2 angled down.) The set only has one. I have tried to come up with ways to have a accurate look, but then I realized the solution was right in front of me all along. If you turn the red piece used in the set around so the clips are at the top of the crawler, you have a pretty accurate representation of the main cockpit screen. In fact, that piece comes in trans-brown/black in the T-16 Skyhopper star wars set. with some simple angling of parts and some trans-brown/black panels, the cockpit would be pretty accurate. Another problem with accuracy is the blockiness and sharp edges on the cockpit. In the movie, the cockpit seems to be completely smooth. It shouldn't be too hard to modify the cockpit, and still have the legs attached in a secure way. My final problem is the use of 6-stud shooters to represent the guns atop the Crawler. I feel like Spring Loaded Shooters would have been better. So to rate the set Accuracy: 4.5/10 Play value: 7/10 Build: 6/10 Overall: 7/10 I am really excited for my birthday, which is in about a month. I plan to ask for the $300 Ninjago City set and the Flying Fox. My initial thoughts of it were harsh, and I feel now that is is a pretty good set!

    [MOC] Batman's Batmech

You're welcome! I will try to build this in grey so it would look like something Batfleck would use. Thanks for the inspiration!

Future Marvel Superheroes Rumors & Speculation

So I was just thinking about what sets we could be seeing for Infinity War, and some speculation about what we could see in the film. Here are a couple of my ideas i think the film's finale will take place somewhere in space where the Avergers, Guardians and various heroes take on Thanos once and for all. As you will see, I think it would be amazing if the Chitauri returned, but only stronger and better, with a improved design and a powerful commander who works with Thanos. I think it would be cool if you collected a Infinity Stone in each smaller set, and the biggest set would include all. Set Idea #1: Leviathan Attack 700 pieces, Around $80 Remember the Leviathans? You know, those big armored space slugs that Hulk smashed? The set includes a gigantic Leviathan, complete with the ability to drop Chitauri soldiers and fire projectiles at the heroes. The Leviathan itself would take up about 400-500 pieces. Also included is a piece of landscape with a few action features, a small Chitauri craft with some stud shooters, a jetpack for Captain America and a armored mech for Bucky Barnes. Minifigures: Bucky Barnes, Captain America, Star Lord, Groot, Hulk in Bigfig form, 2 Chitauri soldiers, and the Chitauri Commander. Set Idea #2: Thanos Cosmos Crawler 800 pieces, around $90 Rule the cosmos with the Thanos Titan Crawler! Help protect Thanos as he combines the Infinity Stones into his Gauntlet, and fire away at those pesky heroes! When the time is right, drop the Chitauri soldiers on to the battlefield, and capture enemies in the containment pods! The Titan Crawler is a massive 4 legged crawling walker with 4 6-Stud shooters, 4 spring loaded shooters, three prison pods, and a opening cockpit, with the ability to hold 2 Drivers. Also included is a piece of a ruined temple with multiple action features involving combining the Infinity Stones (all are Included) and a small turret for the heroes to fire at the Crawler with. Minifigures: Rocket Raccoon, Gamora, Thor, Hawkeye in Space Suit, Falcon, two Chitauri Drivers, Corpus Glaive, and of course the mighty Thanos! I am thinking of more, but let me know what you think of these!

Got back from Wonder Woman last night! Amazing movie! But WW Warrior Battle does't satisfy my needs to see something from the finale, so here's what I will make: (major spoilers) Does anyone have any ideas on how to make a purist Maru? I really would like to have her as a minifigure!
