Just a heads up in case it affects your buying decision; the UK August 2018 store calendar states that VIPs get double points on the Whomping Willow and Newt's Suitcase during August, but on the Lego website at least that is not the case. It's actually double points on the Whomping Willow and the Hogwarts Great Hall. The Suitcase does not qualify for double points. I don't know if it is the same in store.

LEGO Star Wars 2018 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!

I think it looks like it's choking and about to cough up a fluff ball. :) It's definitely not for me. That being said, I'm not going to hate on it; I think the designer did an admirable job. Like you say, both horrendous and yet simultaneously quite a good build. But I just have no interest in it. I think a lot of the negativity will come from the fact that peoples' opinions on the porgs themselves are just largely split. -

We should basically just start a new thread for collating CC 'facts'; it would save a lot of hassle. :) When you're talking Lego leaks I think 'a while' means a few days lol. Any longer is classified as decades. ? Thank you for all your information thus far btw :) -

They said they'd been off for a while so I just collated the information from the last few weeks. Your original posts were 3 months ago, but it seems like an age when you're waiting for news. -

^ Above are all the posts concerning info about CC which have shown up in the last few weeks. So it's just been that and the leaked images of the Cloud Car pilot and Ugnaught. :) Like Sneakguest I'm not expecting much more for a good month, but I would really love to be proved wrong! -

For those in the UK, Amazon have got some of the summer wave available. Anakin's Starfighter, Cloud Bikes and Snoke's Throne Room are all now available sold directly from Amazon themselves. They also have the Hoth Medical Bay set (listed as Lego Star Wars 75203 - Title Is Missing), but not available for next day delivery. What surprises me about this set is that they have it for £37.59. This is the first look at a UK price for this set that I have seen and this seems a bit random so I'm not sure if it reflects the RRP exactly. -
Haha that is me too :) Or it's the other way around: *reads comments on eurobricks: everyone going crazy over new image* *rushes onto Instagram to find said image* The set is very cute (miniature dragon!), but ultimately not for me. Nanofigures give me the creeps and I'm afraid the Ninja hair on these figs does nothing to counter that opinion. Even leaving the figures out and considering it as a display piece, I don't love it enough to warrant the price tag. But I can definitely appreciate the cute builds and the thought and effort that has gone in to it. My heart is a little sad that I don't love it more, but my purse is heaving a sigh of relief ... it can breath a little easier now until any leaks or news of Cloud City!

What I find strange is that if you scroll down the page, the Brickheadz box has a picture of a Harry Brickheadz but it is not the official one. Was this a prototype or unfinalised model? Seems strange to have the picture there. EDIT: I think it may have been an Ideas project, but why would they show the picture uncredited?

The August wave of sets have appeared on the UK S@H confirming the August 1st release date. -
eBay is normally the place for that; sellers sell whole sets or individual figures. You will usually pay a premium for this and of course sellers will price the individual figures according to their rarity / popularity e.g. expect Percival Graves to be expensive.

Exactly my thoughts. I have stopped collecting anything new trilogy. I appreciate the films, but I just don't get that same buzz from the sets / minifigures. I recently made the decision to sell my new trilogy stuff to fund more OT / PT as so many sets come out so quickly these days it's not only a bottomless money pit, but I realised I just wasn't appreciating the new stuff. Little did I know that we may be getting more PT/CW sets than we bargained for! -

OMG! So much nostalgia right now :) It kind of does, but then would Lego really put all those MCs in one small set? Putting them in a Gunship would make more sense. Either way, I'm loving this news. -

Obviously you're right it hasn't been 'officially' confirmed, but Sir Von Lego has 'confirmed' it and he seems to be a trusted source. -
Whilst I agree that the actors/actresses did seem to grow up into teenagers between COS and POA, it seems Lego are going to go with short legs for POA as Hermione in the Hogwarts Express set is in her POA hoodie and she has short legs.

That was the only reference picture I could find to a ugnaught with that outfit and I agree that the face printing just doesn't look right. In fact I went looking for a photo not so much because of the outfit, but because I just couldn't remember any of the ugnaughts' faces having those horizontal brown lines. To fit with the outfit the print really needed to give the ugnaught some proper hair, otherwise it looks more like the ugnaught standing right next to him but in that case it would need some white hair down the face. TBH it looks more like a child ugnaught that's about to burst out crying. ? -
Apart from Mr Gold have they ever openly advertised the 'chase' figure? As in, unless you go searching for box distribution the average person seeing an advert for the series or walking past a box wouldn't know that there is a 'chase' figure or the rarer characters.

^ The original information came from Paperballpark (I think they were the first to mention it). And the Slave 1 is definitely bigger than Microfighter scale. -

You'd think so, but this thread was opened for comments in July last year so maybe soon. :) Time really flies when you're discussing Lego. ? -
That was one issue Jang pointed out on his review. I'm in the UK so don't have the set yet, but I'm not sure there is a fix from looking at it.

I don't know about the US, but in the UK I tend to find that backorders ship sooner than stated.
