New LEGO Speed Champions 2021 Rumors, Speculation

Yes, the Lambo Egoista would be great. Personally I'd love to see the Lambo Sesto Elemento or the Bugatti Centodieci - this would make my day :-) Talking about Lamborghini - I have just made a dual MOC set of the Diablo (a 1990 Classic one and a 1998 GT). I could not wait any longer for more Supercar models to be released by Lego :-)) Here they are:

The problem is that none of these cars (bar the Firebird and the Charger maybe) mean anything to Non American Lego customers. So unlikely to sell well outside the USA and therefore to be a Global hit for Lego, I’m afraid.

New LEGO Speed Champions 2021 Rumors, Speculation

I can't agree more. The poor Audi Quattro must feel alone and needs some serious competition from Group B legends... Look at this Flickr page - you will see the real brick version of the Peugeot MOC below - and with another Hero from the Group B times - the Renault 5 Maxi Turbo... https://www.flickr.com/photos/158094362@N07/28280605097/in/album-72157698614523685/ Other ideas for 2021 SC series - More Supercars from the 70s-80s-90s - all in 8 Studs of course - Ferrari 288 GTO - Lamborghini Miura - Lamborghini Diablo - Bugatti EB110 And Maybe another Group B Rocket? A Lancia Delta S4 the same VS the Peugeot 205 T16?

    Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 - MOC - Speed Champions

Many thanks LegoMonorailFan. i am now working on a great competitor of this little Pug in a beautiful natural scenery. The design has been finalised for a while but I am still in the process of rendering some good pics (the joy of bricking digitally....) Cheers
  5. Hi Milan,

Frankly I am disappointed by your response regarding my comment on an old post.

I don't think ithere is any harm encouraging good MOC, irrespective if they are 1 day or 3 years old.  The creators will certainly appreciate the support the same way.

Note that I am very new to the site (only joined 24h ago)

I read the do and don't from the forum rules and, apologies if I have missed on saying we cannot comment on old posts.

One question though (as you are a moderator) if you don't want any new comments to old posts, why don't you systematically lock them for comments, past a certain time? (I can see you have locked this one post-my comment)

Anyway I am still learning about this site and so far I really like it.

It is just a pity, that, as a moderator your gave such a cold welcome to new member - I hope you were not welcomed the same way when you joined this community...

    thanks

  6. Dear Eurobricks fans, I wanted to share with you one of the favourite speed Champs MOC I've created: The mighty Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 Evolution 2 Rally car This little beast is regarded by many rally fans as the most successful racing car ever It dominated the WRC championship in the mighty (and rather scary) Group B, winning both pilot and constructor's titles in 1985 & 1986 I thought it was time to pay a Lego tribute to both this astonishing Peugeot racing car and the legendary Group B WRC era My Lego project features a very realistic and detailed racing car in full action in its natural rally 'habitat' The vehicle comes with a lot of interesting details: An accurate shape and proportions (not easy to at this scale) Multiple stickers reproducing faithfully the Peugeot Talbot Sport racing colours, main sponsors, headlights, rear lights and Tailgate... A polished and detailed interior including a beautiful reinforcement frame behind the driver’s seat I hope you will like it and don't hesitate to share your feedback here! Finally, this set is currently gathering support on the official Lego Ideas website. If you wish to, you can also vote for it on the following link: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/171007 Thanks! Fabrice

    [MOC] SC Koenigsegg Agera R

Brilliant replica of the Agera - not to keen on the colour but it this does not change the fact that you have done such a good job on replicating accurately the overall shape of a rather difficult design. Very well done!

[MOC] Speed Champions style 1966 Mustang

  14. Very cool and original idea - I like it very much (although poor Stevie looks a bit hypnotised with his wide opened eyes - not much you can do...) All in all great work
