Games and/or Heroica section of the forums?
MagPiesRUs replied to Banjo's topic in Forum Information and Help
I believe the Heroica and LEGO Games discussions were in the 'Special LEGO Themes' forum. If you search for "Heroica" in that subforum, you should get quite a few results, though none of them are very recent. -
As the sun began to set, the einherjar took a break from a hard day of rowing and furled up the sails. At the bow, Ragnar and the others worked to reattach the ships figurehead. On the aft, the other einherjar were preparing dinner. Tarr Egg-Chaser was attempting to hack at one of the chickens while Petr Half-Troll sampled the mead. Manning the steering oar, Lauga announced that the feast was ready. Unfortunately, Ragnvald the Troll (Ranger of the Forest) would never get to enjoy the meal. He had been been declared a traitor and sentenced to death. "Might as well get this over with," Ragnvald sighed, raising his club. With a single whack, it was all over. Ragnvald fell to the floor, dead. Kára stared at the corpse of Ragnvald, having just come to the realisation that trolls are actually pretty crazy. She hoped that this wouldn't spoil the meal her crew were about to enjoy. "Time for feasting!" the einherjar bellowed, rushing to the aft. But while the einherjar were busy feasting, they were being watched from the shadows of the forest...

Day Six: Here Be Dragons The sun set once again and the einherjar went to sleep, secure in the knowledge that their course remained true. Danr the Dragon Slayer (Dannylonglegs) however was still stumbling about on deck, clearly inebriated after a long evening of drinking. He came to a stop at the front of the ship, and squinted up at the sky. He heard a strange noise above him, like the chopping of wood. Up above him, he saw what looked like one of his old adversaries. "Get down here, dragon!" Danr slurred, "Put up your dukes! I'm going to show you what it's like!" With a creak, the dragonhead lurched forward. "That's right!" Danr yelled, flailing his polearm, "When I'm done with you, you're going to wish-" *CRASH!* The figurehead landed directly on top of Danr, crushing him instantly. A dark figure looked down from the top of the prow, admiring their handiwork. Danr the Dragon Slayer had been Loyal. As morning arrived, the crew were shocked to find a fellow warrior crushed so brutally. However, they still remained optimistic, having learned that Dar / Dragonfire (not to be confused with Danr Dragon-Slayer), had been another vile servant of the Corrupted. The longship sailed ever onward. It wasn't long before they reached a land where snow no longer fell. The long winter appeared to finally be melting away! Kára was drawn starboard by the corpse of a huge monster strewn along the riverbank. Before them sprawled the great serpent Jörmungand. Thor's body lay among the wreckage. They had slain each other after a great battle at Ragnarök. Jörmungand had sprayed the sky with his venom in the fight, but as with all things, it had returned anew. All around the two combatants, plants began to grow again. "No one I have heard of has ever passed this point since Ragnarök," Ragnar warned, "I hear monsters still lurk in the woods beyond." "So be it," Kára replied, "If this is the way to Valhalla, we keep rowing." Ragnarök Now 3: Confirmation and Discussion

Thanks for playing, KingoftheZempk and Dragonfire! Day Six should be up in a few hours. -
Final Vote Count Dar (Dragonfire): 12 votes (Hinckley, Lady K, Chromeknight, Piratedave, RangeroftheForest, Trumpetking, Tariq j, Jackjonespaw, CallMePie, Dannylonglegs, Pandora, Adam) Tarr Egg-Chaser (Tariq j): 1 vote (Dragonfire) Yet again, the einherjar had reached a unanimous decision - that Dar (Dragonfire) must be executed... And not a moment too soon for Dar - his frostbite seemed to be getting worse... Dar kneeled down on the chopping block and awaited his execution. However, Kára was growing weary of bloodshed, and her wrongful killing of Lodmund the Dwarf still weighed on her mind. She turned to their new ally Ragnar. "Ragnar, I have enough blood on my hands," Kára began, "but regardless, Dar has been sentenced to death today by my crew. Do you wish to carry out the execu-" "Do I wish to what?" Ragnar asked, "sorry, I wasn't listening. I was busy chopping this person's head off..." "Nevermind." With the threat of fire giants gone for the moment, Kára, the einherjar, and any stragglers they found during the night's battle headed back to the boat. The path was clear, and the longship could at last resume it's journey up the river. Who knew what awaited them beyond? It is now night. You have 24 hours to send in your night actions.

Day Five: Eldjǫtunn Bridge The einherjar kept on rowing, under darkening skies, hopeful that they'd soon reach Valhalla... ... Until they finally reached a place no longship could traverse. Before them stood an old bridge that had seen many a battle. Even now battles were still being waged, as fires leaped and twisted all around it. Kára looked up at the fiery horizon, her face sinking. "Get off the boat!" Kára yelled, "Fire Giants!" The einherjar ran through the snow, dodging the flickers of flame that shot down from above. The skies flickered as more fire came down on the einherjar. Kaupmad (KingoftheZempk) attempted to cross the river to escape the wrath of Muspell's sons. Atop the bridge Kaupmad watched in awe of the battle below him. He was so engrossed in it, he hadn't noticed the figure following him up. *THUD!*, the figure landed their axe into the back of Kapmaud's head. "Wait!" Kaupmad began, pulling himself up, "I have money! And fish!" "Oh yeah? You'll be sleeping with the fishes soon," the figure replied, shoving Kaupmad off the bridge. With a splash, Kaupmad was no more. "I hope he'll forgive me for that terrible pre-death one-liner," the axe-wielding figure noted, "Oh well. I guess it's all water under the bridge now..." Kaupmad was a Loyal einherjar. Meanwhile, the main party had found shelter in a makeshift fortification. Kára found an anxious sentry watching over the destruction. "Curse you, giants!" he said, "don't make me come over there!" As the flames momentarily died down, Kára approached the soldier. "Who is the chieftain in command here?" she asked. "Aren't you?" the sentry replied. "What's going on?" Kára inquired. "The Fire Giants have been carving their way through Asgard. They have been turning everything to ash. The end is nigh! For all of us!" "Most of the giants have passed through already," said a second warrior, "But one giant is still out there, ravaging our fort!" "Go get Ragnar." the first warrior suggested, "he'll know what to do." "Ragnar!" the second warrior called out behind him, "Ragnar!" "There's another Fire Giant out there!" the second warrior said, "It sounds like he's coming towards us!" "Can you hear him?" the sentry asked. "Yeah," Ragnar replied. Ragnar carefully loaded up his crossbow, "he's getting closer..." With a clunk, Ragnar launched the bolt into the air, towards the Fire Giant... Beyond the fort, the einherjar heard the crash of a fallen jot. "Ragnar!" Kára began, "Do you know who is in charge here?" "Yeah," Ragnar replied. Thanks for playing, Lord Duvors! Day Five should hopefully be up in about 9 hours. -
Lodmund the Dwarf (Lord Duvors) stepped forward, having been found guilty of consorting with the enemy. As the sun began to set, the crew gathered to execute the stubborn dwarf. "You can't kill me!" Lodmund protested, "I'm the only one who knows how to forge weapons on this boat. Without me, you won't be able to craft a thing! Why, just now, I have an idea for a magnificent axe in my head..." Before he could finish, Kára swung an axe of her own into his head. Lodmund was finished. Kára turned to her remaining crew, "I know this is a bloody business, but it will soon be over. In a few days, we should reach Valhalla and start our lives anew! Keep rowing!"
-
Day Four: Never Get Out of the Boat It was night time, and Mist (Mencot)'s still lay motionless on the deck. The crew had learned that she had been Corrupted by the terrors of Ragnarok. Elsewhere, Pudding-Head (Hinckley was kissing Pernilla goodnight. "Goodbye piggy," said Pudding-Head, climbing the hull, "Pudding-Head is going for a swim or something." Meanwhile, Tarben the Wise (Tamamono) was having trouble sleeping. "Tonight is my night," Tarben groaned, "I'm getting up tonight." Using a nearby battleaxe to support himself, he lifted himself up! "I'm going to get me some chicken," he said. When the axe-wielding killer came to see Tarben, he was nowhere to be found. The figure looked around, puzzled. "Looking for someone?" a voice came from behind the figure. It was Tarben! Unfortunately, Tarben had spent all of his energy, and was unable to lift his great axe in time... Later that night, Munud the Strange (mostlytechnic) was roaming the deck, searching for his lost potion. "Ah! There it is! The missing chemical that turns water into mead! I have done it, mein Emperor!" Had the shadowy figure behind him overheard Munud's babbling, he may have been hesitant to kill him. Unfortunately, the figure didn't overhear him, and so he cleaved Munud in half. "Heh! You fool! Weren't you paying attention yesterday? Those aren't my real legs! I can survive without them! Heheheh..." Munud still couldn't survive underwater, however. He was Loyal. Tarben the Wise was also Loyal, unable to withstand his shadowy rival. The sun rose again, and the einherjar continued their journey to Valhalla. The snow was beginning to die down. "Our supplies are running short!" Tarr Egg-Chaser (Tariq j) complained, "I cannot cook with these shoddy ingredients! Bork de bork!" "We will have to make do with what we have," Kára replied, "it is too dangerous to go foraging in these parts." Nevertheless, whilst the ship was resting, Tarr left in search of more food. "I think I see something!" Tarr shouted to the others. It was Pudding-Head (Hinckley), having returned from swimming or something. "Chickens!" said Pudding-Head, presenting his find. The two heard a rumbling coming from behind the bushes. "What was that?" asked Tarr. "GIANTS!" "Never get out of the boat," the two wanderers muttered, "Never get out of the boat..."
