Thank you very much, Hinckley *wub* I see Marion has a black French braided hairpiece, and what looks like a switchable head *wub* And although the whip isn't bendable, at least we get a different one in the Egyptian and truck sets. Goodskellas Part III

Here's my latest installment of the skellie-mafia series. Caesar's Pizza Palace, the finest Italian restaurant in all of Skellietown. Inside, one of the skellies negotiates with a member of the mafia. The mafia member excuses himself to the bathroom.. While he's there, the chef watches with delight as Mr. Skellie enjoys his spaghetti The mafia member arrives back with a gun in his hand.. The spectators gasp (although some don't look like they mind too much :-P ) The skellie falls to the floor (who knew killing the dead was that easy? :-D ) Now, the cast: The people: (Chef, Mafia Member, Skellie, Husband, Wife) And the statues: (Murmillo, Retiarii, Caesar, Legionary, Hoplomachi) Enjoy X-D

    The Batbrick Cave!

Yeah, you did in the Neighbourhood Contest Discussion Thread X-D EDIT: What? I havn't posted anything? :-$ Great job, Batbrick. I love your control room. I see you've got two computers, perhaps so you can post two comments on Eurobricks at once X-D I also love how the base is in the water (in a cave) and it has all of the walkways along it *wub* Great job!

I'm pretty sure the boxes are hollow. I can't really see TLC making a solid crate, as it would be very annoying for the upcoming city post sets. Can anyone make out what the new Nazi torso looks like? It certainly doesn't look like the naboo one. Being-Chased-By-Nazis-on-Motorcycles ON!

    Medieval Asian Army (Post-Apoc)

I've added a new vehicle for the Imperial Asian Army (That's what I'll call them now :-$ ) It's some sort of tank, a very effective vehicle for urban combat. It's wheels allow it to travel through rough terrain, it's relatively small size lets it drive through narrow streets, and it's plough allows it to clear the way of debris (and enemy infantry as well >:-) ) Here it is: At the back is a door for the soldiers inside it to charge out: Inside is the driver: A soldier can stand on top, firing his weapon: I've taken photos of a new urban faction, but I'll wait until I have finished the pirates to show them.. |-/ X-D
  11. I don't really know what to call this army, but it's a kind of 'Medieval/Feudal Asian Futuristic Post-Apoc Army' :-$ :-D Sorry about all the pics :-$ After the apocalypse, a surviving group in Asia have turned back to their old ways, and are using traditional armour and weapons, but improving them with their new-fangled technology. Using animals as transports and katanas, axes and guns as weapons, the united people march under their great leader's banner with pride. Let's get to the not-so-grand army: Here's the Emperor, a warlike man. He has commanded his army with great skill, and has conquered a large portion of Asia. He has a large sashimono on his back bearing the symbol of his army. He rides atop one of the few remaining horses, which is covered in armour. At it's front is a deadly plough, which can easily cut through large armies. Here's Kublai, the Emperor's top general. A skilled mechanic and deadly in battle, Kublai can bring down even the toughest of foes. He rides a mechanical horse he built himself, with two large cannons attached to it. Here's a dangerous mercenary the Emperor has recruited. After having been hit head-on by an explosive, his body has mostly bionic now. He is one of the Emperor's most deadly fighters, and has served the Emperor well, for a price that is. Here's a band of assassins recruited by the Emperor. Highly skilled warriors, these men have caused the deaths of many a man. The Centaurs. These are elite samurai who have had their legs replaced with mechanical ones, allowing them to travel at much faster rates, and provide more strength. The emperor's Royal Guard. Hand-picked from the rest of the army as the best of the best by the Emperor himself, these soldiers show unflinching loyalty. The Artillerymen. These men carry large cannons on their shoulders, and can devastate an enemy army with a barrage of missiles. The Elite troops. These men are veterans of war, and have always proved capable of causing havoc among enemy ranks. The Emperor's regular troops. These men make up the backbone of the army, and are very expendable. The Elephants. These lumbering beasts of India tower over the battlefield, and the sight alone of these monoliths can cause terror. These improved types are capable of carrying great weights. They are controlled by beast-masters, who are said to be able to talk to them. This elephant has a large cannon attached to it, able to cause carnage to closely packed groups of men. It also has spiked tusks, allowing it to trample and plough through an enemy army. Finally, the entire army: Enjoy! *sweet*

    Death of Nelson

My third MOC of a painting, 'The Death of Nelson', by Benjamin West With Britain threatening the French Empire, Admiral Pierre Charles attacks the British fleet, while Napoleon fought at Austerlitz. The French and Spanish fleet engages the British fleet, under the famed Admiral Nelson at Trafalgar. During the battle, a French soldier manages to shoot Nelson. His collegues rust to his aid. Before he dies, he learns of their victory, and dies knowing he won. Original painting: Legoed version: I just did the small part of where Nelson is dying, because the first picture I saw just showed that Who's this? Once again, our friendly painter *wub* : ...Who's on the mast of the ship, which has been pummeled with a cannonball: Look out, painter: :-D

    Goodskellas Part II

Well, since there's no chance in me getting into the finals of Killing the Dead ( |-/ :-D) , I think I'm able to continue with my Goodskellas series.. Skellie Woltz has refused to give a mafia member a part in his movie, but that will soon change. "I'll make 'em an offer he can't refuse.." says the mafia boss. The Next Morning... Skellie Woltz wakes up, ready for another day.. Old Skellie has a stretch... Before looking down... .. At the severed head of his prized horse :-X X-D :-D (Scene from the Godfather, in case you didn't know :-$ )

    The Cave of the Dead

Here's some more pics from my entry for the Pirate Halloween Contest. A group of corsairs have been terrorising the seas for too long, and France (or 'the Blue Empire' :-D ) has sent a large galleon to put an end to their days of piracy. The corsairs see this ship approaching them and starts firing at it. The corsairs are outgunned, however, and soon their ship is badly damaged. The remaining pirates evacuate the ship and hop onto small boats. One such boat contains some of the finest fighters the Barbary Coast has to offer, and it escapes into a small cave on the coast. One of the Imperial's own boats pursues them, and both crews soon realise they have made a mistake entering this dark place. From out of the gloomy fog come the skeleton pirates, who have long haunted this place, and begin to attack the unlucky crews. The corsairs (most of them at least) bravely defend themselves against these pirates of death. (There's me in the turban X-D ) The Imperial captain hasn't noticed this threat yet, but his soldiers certainly have ("Skeleton behind me? What skeleton behind me?" :-D ) The corsairs continue to fight with the vicious skeletons.. ..But the undead continue to overrun them, and their deaths are almost certain.. Now the Minifigs: The Corsairs: The Imperial Soldiers: The Undead #1: The Undead #2: ...And the whole cast! Take a bow, everyone! Finally, a photoshopped version, for added spookiness 8-| *skull* : Enjoy!

    Crown Manor

*wub* An excellent manor indeed. I love the architecture you've used. It looks classic but still has a nice new feeling to it. The interior is great too, just as detailed as the outside *wub* The scene inside the walls is well-done as well - the way you've done the path, statue and stairs is brilliant. As is the great positioning of all the minifigs. In fact, everything is great about this, I can't think of a crtisism. Great job *wub*

    Napoleon's Retreat From Moscow

Okay, here's my next vig of a painting. This time it's 'Napoleon's Retreat From Moscow', by Adolph Northern. Napoleon's Grande Armee has marched into Russia, intending to conquer it. The Russians however, have used the scorched earth policy, meaning they will destroy all of the food sources and shelters around Napoleon's army, stopping them from gaining any supplies. Napoleon finally arrives in Moscow, only to find the Russians have destroyed that too. With no food or shelter and the Russian Winter starting to kick in, Napoleon has no choice but to turn back. Many of his soldiers die on the way, either by the cold, starvation, exhaustion or by the Russian army picking off exposed groups. The Russian campaign was a disaster. Here's the lego version: Napoleon himself: La Grande Armee: .. And the fallen soldiers: Who's painting in this cold? :-D The painter shan't worry about the problems the French face: He has some food..: .. And a fire to keep himself warm :-$ : But who's that behind him? Look out, brave painter, a Cossack!: With lightning-fast reflexes, the painter grabs his canvas and smashes it over the Cossack's head!: .. Then quickly runs off before the Cossack can get his revenge.. X-D Enjoy!

    Death of Nelson

Thanks for the feedback everyone *sweet* Well, it's supposed to be Nelson putting his hand in his coat pocket part, but looking back on it now, I'd have probably better off giving him a hand.
