I agree. The FO walker looks off, and though I'm glad we're finally getting a finalizer, the arrangement of smooth plates makes the whole surface look messy. Also, I don't know why it's so hard to just keep DBG things off the exterior of Empire and FO vehicles that are completely LBG on the outside.

Seriously? You've never even posted on this topic before at all, but you come on just to correct me?

I cannot believe my luck! I just bought a BrickLinked 10179 Falcon for $700. Just thought I'd brag.

Video if anyone's curious how the ISD Tyrant opens up
caperica replied to Raskolnikov's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Are you sure you didn't start out with the goal of making a transformer base or something, and it evolved with your love of SW? All those flaps and things... just crazy! Awesome! -
Wow, that's amazing. Nice use of the DS halves for engines
-
Nice! So, not the Tyrant? Smaller?
-
I did actually see his mod, it's the best I've seen so far.
-
OK, man, your ISD is totally awesome, you could call yourself an interior/exterior designer!
-
Yeah, unfortunately, that storyline is no longer canon. Frankly, I prefer the old to the new, but that's just me. How do I private message you?

From my memory, Bel Iblis hired the Venture to impersonate the Tyrant, in Vision of the Future, in order to access the Imperial records on a planet whose name I don't remember. They thought the real Tyrant had been destroyed, when in fact it was cloaked and hiding behind a comet, lying in wait to ambush Bothawui. Since you have proved yourself the master of Star Destroyers, I was wondering if you could help me with mine. I'm trying to mod my 6211, and right now I'm trying to imitate the frame of your Constrictor. Is there a proportion or equation you figured out or something? I can't find the correct size of frame for my paneling or the angle to use for the engine section paneling Technic brick. If you could help, that would be great.

Would you consider building this in red? That would be a good, obscure reference to the Hand Of Thrawn duology, considering you named it the Tyrant...

Oh... so how do they shoot? Are they 1x4 or 2x4, or something? -
[MOC] Imperial Interdictor Cruiser - The IIC Constrictor

Sorry for being so ignorant, but... what disc shooters? I can't see anything like that in these pictures Could you explain ho you attached the plates to the engine section? I have been modding 6211 a lot (If you've ever seen one, you know why), and I can't get anything half as good as that.. I just ended up putting them on flat with technic 1/2 pin 1/2 stud pieces, and it's totally terrible looking -
Good news! Total Bricklink cost to buy the other 46% of parts I don't have is $110, minus s&h. All pieces are new, every store except 1 is in the good ole US... now to scrounge up a hundred bucks...

Could you make instructions, PLEASE! Maybe you could pay off Legolijntje again? Something? Must Build! -
Yeah, I had about half the parts beforehand, and Bricklink is saying i will only need about $100 to complete. I used that auto-select for "best deals" and made sure that all the pieces were in the "new" category. I decided not to build it with scrap pieces first, because i'm going to end up buying the pieces anyway. Has anyone ever heard of a 6 by 6 tile? I found one on the floor in Goodwill, and had put it on my 75054 (The top front panel, after I widened the angle of both front and back side panels). It said Lego on it, but no i.d. number. Speaking of widened side panel angles, has anyone though of doing that on this? It has the same issue as 75054 did: In the movie and cross-section book, the line between the front corners of the cockpit and the front of the side panels should be parallel to the line bisecting the AT-AT, or at least close. In this and 75054, the gap between the front of the side panels is very small. I plan to mod this, but just something to think about.

This is amazing, I took apart my 75054 and am collecting parts from my collection of pieces right now. It will be multicolored at first, as I will build it and then buy the right colors later. The instructions are great, and just from looking at the foot, it will be huge!
