Does anyone know if the 9l shock absorbers available in the parts section of the website are the same stiffness as 9398 shock absorbers? All my no name clone ones have springs that are too big and cause the shock to come apart, so I'm looking for something better.

I remember it being about the almost same strength, I'll check it out after work today. At least it's definitely stronger than the soft version usually used on motorcycles.

  2. The idea that the Aston Martin F1 Safety Car will be the next 1:10 model sounds very reasonable. The car's original color is closer to dark turquoise, but considering that it was recently shown in Speed Champions in normal green, it's likely that it will be in normal green in Technic too.

Additionally, if the Aston Martin Safety Car is true, there is a possibility that the F1 model will also be Aston Martin, and this large-scale collaboration with Aston Martin also indicates that the 2026 1:8 supercar could be  Aston Martin too.

Turning sets from other themes into technic sets seems fun. I'm looking for other sets like the Ornithopter to Technic-ify. The main criteria is that it should have Technic functions in a body of System bricks.

I'm having my eye on the 21327 Typewriter, but I'd like to receive some suggestions as I'm not very familiar with other themes.

Even I already did DB5 on TC20, Icons Ecto-1 and DB5 will good. Or how about 10302 optimus prime and 10338 bumblebee?

And if you can do it, I highly interested on 21323 grand piano.

  4. Seems like TLG did similer thing but something different. It has very lot of C+ L motor on backside of car but it isn't work in video. I'm guessing they took the chassis of a real car and put a Lego cover on it, so the car in the video runs at the same high speed as the real P1.

Anyway, TLG did something similar to what they did with the Bugatti and Sian: using a lot of parts in non-existent colours. In the video, you can see a lot of 7L flip-flop beams (probably yellow), as well as a stop axle of unknown length and possibly a 3L friction pin, all in yellow.

Well, "bigger is better" they say

In all seriousness, this is quite the machine. I actually like how different it is from all the rest, and that all of the huge size is not just bulk for nothing: it's quite the feat to have such an arm fold all the way out, and the X-shaped outriggers are really nice too. I think this is a great entry to the competition.

    Thanks :)

It wasn't intentional, but I have a feeling this model has the most parts out of all the entry's lol

  6. For people anyone who interested to custom chain/track for tank or other thing

This is my custom sprocket design for custom chain which I found few years ago.
I didn't post it because I planned to use it for my K1A2 MOC but it delayed to much so I change my mind.

Even on this setup chain can work perfectly but if you have some kind of 5L circule thing like 68327 can use for more stable working.

Can you share the file for 9L curved panel

The shape is tricky to make in reality, so I imported the existing 13L thing and reduced the length to 9L. Other than that, nothing has changed, so if you have a parts designer, you can actually make it yourself. Of course, there is an air vent that is not in the actual part, and it looks a little dented, but it is usable without any problems. Just like the rendering picture in the link.

    And hub looks like this.

    hub1.PNGhub2.PNG

The original's curved parts are all gone and there is no color separation, but it is no problem to use. At least in my trike.
