these are good! but is it possible to make the swords and hats look a little less bumpy? it looks odd with everything else so smooth.

I remember seeing one of these commercials. i hated the clothes they wore though, they look nothing like what pirates might have wore.

i would really like to see the Interceptor or the Dauntless but of course, the pirates are the "good guys" so we wont be seeing those until later. another set that would be cool would be Port Royal or Fort Charles

I Will be building a ship soon, but I've been wondering how i can make the ships curves without jumper bricks. Also i was wondering if i should combine the IFS ship baseplates with Brickbeards Bounty baseplates and build a frigate. one last thing, should i take apart my IFS, and what should i use for rigging?

First impressions... "It looks like a taller imperial flagship!!" yes i know its bad, but i did'nt want to take this is the ship... FINALLY .\ the stern . Some sailors (8 in all) . the Captain and Admiral (in that order) . the Gunners(6 in all) . some Marines . and finally, the Officers. . thanks to TazManiac for the help on posting pictures. now to resize them... hmmm

nice to know someone else uses paint too! you should try a program called "GIMP" it is very good for creating effects like that, and its FREE! you can also try out another free site called Squirlz water reflections (watch a tutorial on youtube by cannedgravy)

you don't even need a hook. A minifig hand will do the same thing. It tilts the sword up a little bit but it works

I see a couple spiders, a rat, some skelletons, and AN ORANGE! no wonder the pirates left! its a NAVAL orange

I chose the Imperial Flagship 1. because it is a warship 2. ALOT of good peices came in the set (brown mast peices) 3. it has a decent crew I noticed the skulls eye schooner had a rowboat on the back. Its a bit more practical for life aboard the ship, but not very roomy for battles.

Very good! I like how you made the lamps. Usually people just use the 1X1 round peices but very creative. Love the blood effects too

There is an incredible cross sections book that has the H.M.S.Victory in it. You should check it out, There is some very interesting details and facts about the ship. very good idea though! :thumbup:
