    No suspension. Not like lowered/"slammed" cars have any real suspension anyways I'll be using an M-Motor with a hockey spring.

    If you don't get a lot of points, that doesn't mean your model sucks. Honestly, there were so many top-level models in this contest, I'm not sad that mine isn't getting too many votes (and neither should you!). Plus, there's still the chance of winning an SBrick even without getting all the votes:

    After a bit of sketching in my notebook, I built this loose chassis to get a feel for dimensions and layout: S2000 - WIP 1 by VKTechnic, on Flickr Sadly, I'm not sure I'll be able to fit an actual LEGO piston engine in there, but I'll definitely put as many details, pipes, and wires in there as I can.

    Probably gonna build it in yellow, with a dark grey hood and some racing stripes. That was my original choice, but I only have 10 or so blue liftarms.

    Those axles are bothering the engineering side of me (I'm sure Alex from LPEPower will understand ), but overall this is a good-looking model so far. Really like the way you used the wing pieces on the back

    Very unique model choice! Love the color scheme too, it really fits the model.

    I actually just wrote a maths paper on optimizing motor choice and gearing based on weight, similar to the comparison of power to weight we're doing here. I was using drag cars as an example though, would be cool to translate some of those concepts here .

    Might just be the perspective, but your chassis seems longer than the one in the picture. Either way, from what I can tell, this is a great start, and I can't wait to see the finished product!

    Love the placement of the receivers I'll have to watch the video tomorrow, but this looks like a very innovative model! Great job building at such a small scale (again!)
