Delta62 replied to B Rick's topic in LEGO Licensed
Its beautiful! Nicely designed and a great tribute to the classic batmobiel. I also like seeing it in different colors as well, great job! -
Never thought i see the day when the Simpsons and lego come together. Back when I was a kid i would of loved it but now all i have to say is blah... There's only so much I can take lol but that's just me. But the mini figs do look cool though.

Not sure where to post this but feel free to move it to its proper place. I finally got the chance to see the Lego Movie with my friend today and I must say it was very impressive and the animation was stunningly beautiful. Characters were memorable and the jokes were funny. It brought back a lot of childhood memories and was an enjoyable as well as inspiring flick. Now I can't get thay tune "Everything is awesome" out of my head lol and im ready to start building again. Has anyone else seen it yet?

[Contest] LDD/LDraw Contest 2014 Entry Topic: Free-Build
Delta62 replied to legolijntje's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Heres my entry topic for the freebuild contest.Hope links and pictures are allowed. My entry is a pyramid modular house complete with kitchen, a garage for your adventure vehicle, a living room with flat screen TV with surround sound and 4 chairs. There is a bedroom on top with completed with a very open and roomy balcony. Completely minifig scale friendly! So basicly its an adventurers home away from home in the middle of the desert where any type of adventure is waiting to happen. Heres the link for more pictures: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/382565 In case if you dont see the downloadable file, its on my webpage at the bottom. And a picture for refference. -

Sounds like fun! A chance to get back into building. I might be a bit rusty but im definately gonna try it. Just one question though, I dont understand how we post it. Do we post the entry in a new thread or will there be a thread dedicated for these entries? -

Not sure why I chosed mine, I guess its because I'm a star wars fan and Delta62 (scorch) is one of my favorite clones from Republic Commando. Never played the game but ive read one of the books.

I wouldn't consider it the darkages yet. I've been collecting lego since i was a kid and now as an adult, the entusiasim comes and goes. It depends on the mood and inspiration I guess. Don't worry, its a phase we all go through and we are all in this together!

Hi everyone, I have finally returned! Even though I have a busy schedule, I've been able to find the time to post my latest moc. As you can see, this my second biggest project thats been in the making since August 2012. Although construction has been stopped due to parts shortage of black plates I'm overall satisfied with the way it looks. But anyways this is the short, short version of what I'm trying to build. It is a Galactic steamliner inspired by the titanic and modern cruise ships. I wanted to combine both classical and modern looks to give it a space age feel. In the future I also hope to add greebling on the sides to give it more detail. It also lights up too which I hope to make a video of it soon. So for now, enjoy this concept and as always, comments and criticisim are most welcome! Heres the link to the gallery: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/354177

Problem starting LDD today
Delta62 replied to Kazz's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Wow, it seems to be a global issue! Glad to know I'm not the only one having the same connecting problem. I tried it again today and its still stuck.I hope they fix this issue soon. Now that college is out for the summer its time for me to start building again. I use LDD quite a lot before building the actual model. -
Sounds like fun, sign me up! Finally, an excuse to build.

Flicr sounds like a good photo sharing place. I'm gonna try it just to see what its all about On the other hand, Brickshelf is still down.
-
I was gonna try logging in too but it seems to be down again!

Brickshelf seems to be up now. I haven't tried logging in yet. Its annoying that they don't notify their users unlike mocpages does.
