What's your recent LEGO Star Wars Purchase?

The AT-ST but my next purchase will be some little grey tiles to replace the blue ones. :'( Something about having the little blue tiles on an almost entirely grey model unsettles me.

Hi all, I'm interested in joining. I can't decide between MANTIS or Kawashita however! Is the game currently balanced out nicely or could one corp seriously do with some man power?

Loving that ship design. Screams retro sci-fi. Really nice work.

How do you plan a build?

Thanks for the replies guys. It looks like I'm on the right path with LDD then. I was going to buy some job lots of Lego and build from there but I think my safest bet after all would be to order the parts. Luckily a lot of stores can ship to the UK. I've got a Pinterest account set up at the moment which is beyond useful for references. https://uk.pinterest.com/leesomething/lego/
  6. Hi all, After looking through a load of people's MOCs recently I've been wondering how do people go about planning a build? Does anyone have a workflow where they do a sketch or make a concept model? Maybe block something out then pad it? I'm curious to find out what techniques people use for their huge builds. Recently I've done a little work in Digital Designer as I currently lack the parts to do a big build in real life but before I do attempt a large one I'd like to know how other people plan and co-ordinate their builds. Thanks!
  7. Hi all, I'm a longtime fan of Lego (about 25 years) and I thought I'd finally join a community. I'm currently rebuilding my collection after giving it all to my brother and was lucky enough to be given an AT-ST for Christmas and the Submarine kit. This site so far has given me a warm nostalgic feeling and made me smile more than once! I've got three kids and work in the video games industry so some destressing and the innocence of Lego seem perfect for my life right now. I look forward to talking with you guys and having some fun!
