Also, I think it'd be hilarious if Dareth got sick of being comic relief and tried to prove himself/take revenge by becoming a big bad, or being manipulated by a real big bad. Imagine the Brown Ninja Mech or the Brown Ninja Dragon

I could imagine that when Monkie Kid's popularity dies off, whatever sets that Lego have planned at that time could appear in a crossover story with Ninjago as a way to still sell those sets under the Ninjago banner, assuming that Ninjago is still popular enough. I'd like to see Monkie Kid's crew finding themselves in the Ninjago cartoon talking about how weird they look in the Ninjago dimension, since they'd look like minifigs in the show like the Ninja do. As for crossover villains from earlier themes, the red and black wizard Mallock from the original Clutch Powers movie would be cool. So would the villains from Ultra Agents since they each represent natural disasters/pollution, they would complement the Ninja's elemental powers well. The Rock and Lava Monsters from Power Miners would be cool villains too. As would the Borg-like Vampire Tech Infection Army from Nexo Knights, I don't think the Ninja have fought vampires before. Even just an episode where the Ninja end up in Knightonia just to give an official conclusion to the Nexo Knight's storyline, since the conclusion in the comic felt a bit rushed.

It's just occurred to me that if we ever see Wukong's original crew in the show and the new heroes realise who their counterparts are, I hope Mei's reaction to being the replacement for a horse is hilarious, at least before she realises it was a dragon in disguise

Speaking of MODing MK sets. There are a couple of sets I want for the side builds and minifigures, but I'm not into some of the big good guy vehicles that are the main part of the set. There's very little I can find online where people have changed things like the Lion Guardian or Dronecopter etc into an alternative build. Has anybody seen any?

I'm not a fan of Bigfigs usually, they don't fit into most minifig builds and you can't mix and match their parts too much to customise your own characters like you can with Minifigures. I have the Sandy Bigfig from his speedboat set, but he's just in a box with my larger Lego animals and other Bigfigs, he never gets any use. Because of that, I'm really glad we now have the option of him as a Minifig. I'm looking forward to seeing what different torsos etc we get for him in future waves. I'd love it if they made a Monkie Kid CMF series with alternative outfits and facial expressions for Sandy and the rest of the core characters. They could include Mei's parents, the little girl disguise of The Lady Bone Demon, the "Mayor" that works for LBD, some of the more unique clones of himself that MK can create in the show, they could do a version of MK with his season 2 puppy or mop hands that would fit over regular minifig hands like the medical cast piece does. There could be recoloured versions of the Spider Bot from set 10783 in the Spider Queen's colors, new animal moulds to represent The Monkey King's animal transformations, maybe have new versions of Mo in a sitting position or with different face prints, and maybe those green creatures from season 2's Pig Pong Panic episode, what are they meant to be anyway? Are they from the Journey to the West legends?

Just rewatching season 1 and in the episode where The Spider Queen is acting all seductive at first, blowing a kiss at Tang, Tang isn't interested at all, but Pigsy finds her attractive. Makes me wonder if they're subtly coding Tang as potentially gay or asexual to make the show more inclusive for viewers that might enjoy that kind of representation, even if it's kind of not obvious? It'd be cool if they were, though I may be reading too much into it lol

Lego are releasing at least 2 Friends sets with wheelchair accessible elevators in 2022, so representing wheelchair users is something they are starting to do. I can imagine this being reflected in Modulars at some point -

I can't decide if I like the Boutique Hotel or not. I'm not sure about the angled style yet.. I feel like I'll want to swap out that weird gold palm tree for a more standard palm tree like the ones you used to get with the classic Pirate sets. I guess I'll just have to look at the display model in the Lego Store once it's released to decide if I want it or not. -

Love the foal, Love that the Trash Panda comes with a bin, The mushroom is cute, The Skater's torso and hair will be good to reuse, I'm pretty sure the Moon Knight will be my favourite. Anyone know what the red thing that comes with the Hazmat Guy is supposed to be? -

As a gay person who didn't feel represented in any toys growing up, it means everything to me that Lego have produced a set celebrating diversity and inclusivity. I'm buying 3. For people saying the set doesn't represent disabled people because there's no minifigure in a wheelchair, I'm just like "there's plenty disabilities where a person can still stand". Every minifigure in the set has Acrania anyway, they've all been born without faces. People opposed to rainbows on religious grounds better not read Genesis 9 where God says his rainbow is a sign of his promise to ALL life, not just certain genders, sexualities or races. Anyway, so excited for this set! I'm going to display one, keep one in the box and use one for custom minifigure parts. Counting the hours until the release date

I liked Chima, probably because I loved Fabuland as a child and it's kind of close to that theme with the anthro animals. I bought a lot of the sets, mainly for the Minifigs. While a lot of episodes of the series were uninteresting, I liked the bigger story arcs and the fact it had a progressing story line with an actual conclusion which was sadly lacking in Nexo Knights. It was cool that it had a crossover with Ninjago too.
