The Freemaker sets look like they'll be good with some modding. Also, complaining about other people asking the same questions is just as annnoying. Please stop.

To be fair have you even looked at the sets? They look great and will surely add more depth to the Star Wars universe.

I don't like Rebels but even I can admit the sheer potential for future sets based on the show.

The story has great promise but you need to work on the execution. 1.) They're on a medical frigate so the floors should be smooth and uniform. 2.) Work on your perspective for the photos. Some of these could be great shots but the photo lacks quality/good forced perspective. 3.) You should try different lighting techniques and adding details to the builds themselves. It also would help to add unique posing of the figures so they don't seem so static or boring. Otherwise they're just figures on a plate. Hope this helps!

He's got a point though. A very rude and hostile atmosphere considering we're talking about plastic bricks meant for kids. Not everyone frequents this site every single day. Some people just want LEGO news without all the extra nonsense. Regarding Leia, I have four figures of her now. I honestly don't need another. It seems only people new to this are asking for her in cheap sets.

...Christ, it was a general statement regarding fans being unable to handle a protagonist character's death (read: Han Solo). Your comment was just an example. If it applies to you then I don't know what you want me to say. I guess it boils down to what you expect out of a franchise and the direction it moves in. I care more about the plot and the way the universe actually shifts than I do how pretty it looks or how "family fun!" it is. To each his own though :)

Sorry but that's utterly inconceivable to me. The Force Awakens is by far the biggest disappointment in the franchise. It's success proved people don't care about a coherent plot as long as "muh practical effects" or "muh nostalgia". Mind you, if you haven't seen the original movies in their unaltered glory, you really have not seen Star Wars. Furthermore, there's zero excuse for not seeing the unaltered versions as I know they were out on DVD as far back as '07.

Well, we got the Azure Angel after well over a decade. It's bland but it's still a major vehicle used by a major faction. We don't even have droid transport ships as sets besides the ground carriers and the MTT, which mind you, one could argue is just as bland.

The one thing with Star Wars is that we have to take it with a grain of salt. If characters reacted and did what they would do in real life. The Empire would have won and the saga would have ended at ANH (well technically R1 now).

Actually, it would expand on the droid line in a beneficial way. A system-sized landing craft doesn't even make sense. Obi-wan's jedi starfighter from EP2 isn't iconic either yet we were still treated to it.

Actually, it looks pretty nice. Swap the hip piece for a regular white one and then cover the black laces and you're good to go imo.

...I would much rather have more standard Imperial troops for an ARMY BUILDER pack as opposed to two of Krennic's personal bodyguards who will quickly lose their purpose after accumulating so many.

Ridiculous. Those sets are not cheap by any measure. I have the original DS and the 2013 Falcon, I picked up the Tydirium just to have more Imperial resources but had I not been a die-hard Imperial I likely would not have a new Chewbacca either. I can live with this set, the guard has superb torso/leg detailing and the ROTJ Boba looks great updated. Han and Chewie are expected but I see great parts value in the set itself..especially with that brown flex tubing.

*I mentioned a spoiler when I was told not to!* I would personally love to see the rail speeder! I think that could be a unique and good set!

Tarkin has always remained a soft spot for me. His doctrine of fear over force was actually more humanitarian than anything. Ultimately, his arrogance also served his downfall. I couldn't contain my smile even under all my armor lol. It was a good night for me. A father asked me if I could take a family photo with him and his young sons! Being only 18, that was the highlight of the night besides the movie itself!

I'm glad they did it. Star Wars fans can be some of the most downright unrealistic fans ever...the Empire is the most powerful organization in the galaxy at the time. If they seriously cake walked it like they did in the OT I would have walked out. Simple as that.
