Yeah the problem with the bardings is that they don't allow the newer horse to move. They wouldn't have 25 of the same fig. It would be varied like a king, queen, knights of different kinds, maybe a jester, bard, or blacksmith and hopefully some civilian figs. I don't think this will have a lot of black falcon knights maybe one or maybe none at all. We just had some in Blacksmith shop and the 3in1 castle. -
Yeah I was excited when it was first announced. My whole family got involved my wife and both my boys. But they were confused a lot, no one got invested in any of the characters and ended up disappointed by the end of the show. They didn't explain the magic system well at all and Rand's character was butchered along with some others in my opinion. You really didn't miss anything special. The last 2 episodes were bad and really bad especially since most was cgi because of covid shutdowns while they were filming. But hopefully we get some good out of Rings of Power and GOT. I've personally found some of the anime like castlevania, DOTA, legend of vox machina etc to be more entertaining than these shows recently.

Yeah I'm still going to give Rings of Power a watch. I watched season 1 of the WOT and they really need to fix stuff there, I'm chalking it up to covid on some choices and actors leaving. I'm going to watch season 2 and hopefully it improves. I really love fantasy and I think all the shows and media we are getting is great, it's just some of it is executed poorly and or has politics injected into it making it worse. Although from what i've seen House of the Dragon does look and sound really good right now.

Yeah I definitely think there will be at least one castle fig in the series. It would be nice to get a civilian but I would take an army builder type fig also. -

Well that's awesome . I hope that comes true we can all dream right? I'm just really curious what lion design will be. Will it be an old school look or a completely new style. -

Of course we have no idea what it looks like its all speculation at this point. I'm just keeping a level expectation in my head for now. All those sets you said have been in development for years up to their release this one is getting fast tracked especially with this timeframe. I think it be an amazing set as it will be the 90th anniversary set. I don't think it will have a lot of animals but that's just my opinion I was just saying that those factors will have a factor in the piece count and especially what techniques and style they use for the castle. Oh I'm going to love this set I know it, I'm backing anything castle that comes our way. I think its going to be a mix of a bunch of previous lego themes. -

@Aanchir I also found the named characters and stories interesting especially when I was a kid in the 80's. I still like reading stories that people come up with for their builds. I know that it's been more about making your own idea's for the stories of sets now with Lego. I think it would be interesting to see what some of the people at Lego come up with for their own sets. I just can't wait to see this castle last year and this year are turning out great for castle lovers even though it isn't a straight up theme. I think the fact that the 3in1 castle and the blacksmith shop and the castle in the forest have all sold well really shows Lego that there is still a market out for these type of sets and we do get an actual castle theme in the next few years. -
This looks great. I like the inclusion of the blue around the windows. The roof looks great. Nice job with the figs too. The landscaping with the trees and vegetation around the house is lovely. I actually find this more interesting than the trailer for the Rings of Power. It's not a knock on you I'm just saying how well you respected Tolkien's work as to how Amazon is destroying it at this point.

Ok but people say things like this and it turns out differently all the time. And sometimes they are told to say things. But as you said this would not make much sense for them to do this as this does not happen unless they are going to explain these major plot holes somehow. When they start changing the lore then things go in the crapper in my opinion. But this seems to be everything nowadays like the Wheel of time, Rings of Power, the Witcher. With all of those they have changed major plots and even changed characters lore and have gotten some severe backlash in some instances like WOT and Rings of Power. Especially when they change to much people just get frustrated and wonder why they can't just tell the story the way it is with some minor changes for adapting it to the big screen.

I believe you are correct and if they would put molded animals in a 3in1 it would have to be a mold already in production as to keep costs down.

That was a year ago and look at the economy right now. I think that was a special case. Also if there are several horses and other molded creatures then the piece count won't be above 5000. I hope your right and we get 5000 pieces or more but I just don't think it will happen. Especially if there is a gatehouse or large doors involved. If it is somewhere around the 5000-5500 piece count that would be great and a really nice castle. And hopefully we get 20-25 figs but I'm going to keep my expectations low for now. I know I'm going to buy it and maybe another if it's great. This way too when the set comes out and beats my expectations I will be even more excited. I'm really excited for this set as is. Just my opinion -
I don't think Vader and Obi-wan meet at all in this show. Vader is in it because people love Vader. I think people are over analyzing this. No one said Vader and Obi-wan are fighting in this show. We just know that Hayden is in it as Vader, we don't know how much he is in it or where he will be. Trailers are always cut to make you think certain ways. People get all bent out of shape for nothing. Wait till the series comes out and then we can judge. It's just like the Rings of Power on Amazon coming later this year there is a lot of problems with it aesthetically and lore wise but I will still see it to make my own judgement. If the Rings of Power sucks then they have only theirselves to blame and will definitely lose a lot of fans. But this trailer has so much more to it than the Rings of Power trailer. At least with this we have an idea of what they are going for and a taste of the story they want to tell.

Yeah unless you count the friends squirrels which were to big and colorful in my opinion. I think they will do a fox, coyote, wolf at some point. We really do need adult duck, geese, swans, pigeons, and obviously other colors of the small bird that you can use as various species of birds like cardinals, blue jays, finches, sparrows, swallows, junco's, etc. It would be nice to get something like a pileated woodpecker. An Ibis, heron or stork would be nice too. A proper raven or crow really needs to be done though. Some other raptors like hawks, falcons, would be good along with a nice recolor of the eagle to resemble a vulture. Some animals like a beaver, woodchuck, white-tailed deer, wild boar, moose, elk, bison, gazelles, water buffalo, antelope, big horn ram, capibara, badger, prairie dog, fisher, mink, kangaroo, opossum, porcupine, tiger, otter, zebra, hippo, pandas, koalas, sloth not like the friends one, anteater, etc. Some reptiles like more iguanas, komodo dragon, geckos, etc.

We have the one that sticks in the hat or hairpiece from the cmf or the lone ranger theme i can't remember which. There are several versions of owls, an eagle, rubber duckies you can use as ducklings, there are the new squirrels, there is a skunk, several different versions of dogs and cats. There is the reindeer, bears, mt. lions, alligators, baby alligators, Some versions of the friends animals may work like the flamingos, raccoon, of the top of my head. There are some turtles, rats, bats, snakes, spiders, frogs, and rabbits. I'm sure there is others i've missed but there are plenty of options to populate your parks and streets.

@morvit I don't think it will look like that. I think it will be like set 6080 but larger more detailed with newer techniques. Really hoping for 20 figs. I think a couple of horses and possibly some other animals or birds is likely. I'm hoping for new bardings, I think the lion emblem will probably be an updated version but we will see, although I do hope they stay with the red, blue and yellow color scheme. I don't think they will put a dragon in it. I'm just hoping for a really nice build with some good figs. -

I didn't hear that the CMF series 23 is an anniversary one that's interesting if it is. That would definitely produce some great figs. -

I agree Lego was never going to appease everyone with this poll. I think in 10 years at the 100 year anniversary they will have multiple sets to celebrate and probably several different things going on throughout the year. -

Could be it's hard to tell from the image. I'm sure we will see pics soon though. I'm actually going to go find some of the claws and put them on the old cmf viking female figs hair helmet combo and see if it is a match. It definitely works now we will just have to wait and see it that's what they did. -
Isn't Monkie kid kind of based off the Ninjago style. I think Monkie kid is more like Ninjago with some other flare to it.

Those are not skeletons they are figs with the ice zombie samurai armor. Also looks like Harumi in the Crystal King set with Lloyd. That blade that Aspheera and the skull sorcerer have seems new. We have seen the wings with a leak from earlier and they actually look really good. Also what gold blades are you talking about because all the weapons I see the ninja have are already being used or have been used by the ninja in past seasons.

We already new they were not going to be printed shields. I think the ship looks good. It looks like we may get one civilian viking that would be good.
