The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
LegoShroom replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Clayface is beautifully priced. A day one purchase indeed. I'll have to modify the head to my taste though. I'm upset at the scuttler. I was hoping for £80. And croc too. I was hoping for £60 Catwoman and the lowrider are overpriced too. Other than that I 'm happy. Hopefully, I'll get the lowrider, croc and scuttler for a third off. -

The thing that I like least about Arkhma is that they're using handheld cameras as surveillance cameras. It just looks stupid. -

Well, I've got the pictures saved to my device and that's all that matters. In more related news, I'm hating the grill sticker on the arctic roller. Otherwise it's fantabulous. -

Any word on the piece count; this doesn't seem to be the US box?? -

That build is fantastic. I don't care that it only has two figures. I'll get it anyway. Also, if someone has this set, do they have the scarecrow set too. Because I'd like to see the box for that one. -

However the riddler car is rather small and underwhelming. For the Arctic roller, I reckon we'll get a better build and fewer figures. Gentlemen ghost seems to be a good fit for the arctic roller though. -

He does. It just looks like skin. But it's not. Look closer. I made the same mistake at first too. -

I just saw the UK prices. £55 for the lowrider???? I wouldn't even pay £40 for it. I'm sorry. There's a line between generating profit and extortion. And Lego just crossed it. I would've like a £100 price tag on the batcave, but the other two seem fine. I'm considering skipping out on the lowrider now. Thanks for nothing Lego. -

I have one fundamental flaw with the batsuits. Most of them show flesh so the won't look good on the batsuit displayer in the batcave. I think only the fairy bat would work. That's a shame. -

Or maybe that's why batman is so lonely. The last person that he took in became a supervillain and so he detached himself from other people. -

After seeing these pics I have to say that I'm pleased about the figures except for the c list villains. Not to my taste really. The ones that I'll be getting are; Red hood, Robe batman, vacation batman, Gordon, Cave batman, King tut, Joker and harley (Only for those alternate faces), and fairy batman. 9/20 isn't too bad. Unfortunately these do tend to go out of stock pretty quickly where I live so I'll get the nine that I want on the first day. -

Over on Brickset, a person from Slovenia said that they got the lowrider for €40 from one of their local stores, as mentioned in their review of the set. Are these sets starting to show up in Europe too??? -

If the scarecrow set was bigger maybe we could get the bat-zepplin amd scarecrow's copter could be a side build. It's not going to happen but one can hope. -

2 bigfigs?? I'm hoping that they don't redo what they did with the 2017 hulk set. 375 pieces for $60 is terrible for that marvel set. Anyway I don't think that mutant leader is iconic enough to warrant a bigfig. -

Not much to go on for the summer sets. It's pretty much the three sets that I knew we'd get. I'm guessing that the other two are movie specific. Also, I probably won't get the Scarecrows pizza set in that case as we will get the full costumed scarecrow in the summer. -

I just watched beickvaults review of the lowrider and he mentions that the wheels have a tendency to pop off. Is this just his model or a general design flaw?? -

Not too interested by these sets. I like the power blast idea and the new helmet for iron man looks good. Lola is mediocre at best but the jet and detroit steel are horrible. I like the print on detroit steels face though. I'll be putting my funds towards dc this time around.- 5809 replies

So I was looking through the Brickipedia page for TLBM and it said this: "Deadshot, Ra's Al Ghul, Ventriloquist, Killer Moth, Mr. Camera, Ten-Eyed Man, Cavalier, Baby Doll, Flamingo, and Condiment King are rumored to make a cameo in the film. Clock King, Orca, Calendar Man, Tarantula, and Magpie have not been seen in the fourth trailer, but they have been confirmed to appear in sets for the movie." Does this mean that we can potentially see the villains on the top line in sets too??? Because I would love the see The Ventriloquist with a scarface made from the new baby mould. -

No. The dimensions packs were announced for February. It makes sense too. If you are playing through the film in the story pack, then owning it before the films release would spoil the plot of the film. -

If so, I won't be able to get these until the early summer as I'll be swamped with exams for exam season. (And before you all decide to call me underaged, I'm at university thank you very much.) -

We will likely see the summer wave sets at New York Toy Fair in February so not long for those either. -

So I guess the Croc US price explains why Catanas said that the Uk price would be £60 which is much more believable after seeing the Us prices. No longer a day one purchase but I'll get it on a 25% off sale. That way the Price per part hits the 10 pence per piece ratio right on the head. -

Mmmmm... What to get first.... I'm with the Croc/balloon combo guys +CMF. The disney series and the halloween series sold out so quickly in my local area that I never even got to lay eyes on a pack let alone buy one. I'll be picking up all of the CMF's that I want in the first few days of the sets release as Batman is popular and will definately sell out quickly. It also doesn't help that I only have 3 local options for buying CMF's which don't tend to restock after the CMFs sell out. It'll be a challenge, that's for sure.
