    Harry Potter 2019 - Rumors & discussion

Just type in #legoleaks on instagram, a picture of Macnair's head piece is the first picture on there under the 'most recent' heading I personally like the print though thinking about it he will probably look like quite a plain figure. Still it'll be easy to just add a cloak and hood to make him fit in with previous Death Eater figures!

I honestly think the wings might not be new pieces as there are dragon wings from the Lego Elves theme that would probably fit the Horntail in terms of size. I've just been looking at the Lego dragons from that theme now and I feel like a more realistic-looking version of the Goblin King's Evil Dragon would be a good indicator for molded pieces since both dragons are wyverns.

LEGO Disney Minifigures & D2Cs - Rumors and Discussion

Do you guys think that Anna's and Elsa's hair is made out of rubber or soft plastic? The molds do look quite complex and I know some hair pieces have been rubber before so wondered if that was the most likely option

LEGO Disney Minifigures & D2Cs - Rumors and Discussion

Wow what an amazing line-up! Hades is definitely the highlight for me! I love the mold they've created in the place of his legs as I feel it can be used for a lot more than the specialist mold for Ursula in the first series. My other favourites are Jasmine, Jafar, Elsa and Anna, I'll probably try to get all of those as they're perfect fits for the characters and instantly recognisable! I love how cute the entire front row of animal characters are but I don't really feel the pressing need to get any of them really. I'd definitely rate this series as better than the first one though!

Does anyone know if there's anywhere they're still selling in the UK apart from the Lego shops themselves? It'd be great to pick up a few extras while they're cheaper, especially Cho Chang for that Ravenclaw torso

Thanks for summing up which minifigure parts have leaked, that's really helpful! I think Sirius, Macnair and Fang are the characters I can't wait to see the most, though I'll be interested to see Ron and Hermione in their Yule Ball robes after Ashnflash's interpretation of what they could look like in Just2Good's video:

I like that idea, it could come with a small rock build based off where they fought each other in the film. There's no existing Lego dog that fits Sirius either so it would be cool to get a uniquely molded/printed version. They could always throw in Snape as well, considering he was the one who tried to protect the trio from the werewolf.

It would be really great to get more student figures in sets, especially those from other houses! Its really frustrating how the hufflepuff and slytherin school torsos are only available in the Great Hall set, and it would be great to get uniforms with the robes printed over the top like the CMF minifigures had (a lot of Slytherin characters had their robes on a lot, especially in POA). As for the mystery $15 set its odd how there is no rumour about what it could contain. Considering the two other sets we'll have had from Lego at that price point will be the Aragog set and the Patronus set I wonder if this other set will follow the same pattern and focus around magical creatures as well. If this wave is exclusively based on Prisoner of Azkaban and Goblet of Fire there's only two sets I think could work. One would be a Buckbeak vs Werewolf Lupin set with Harry, Hermione and yet another small tree build (unlikely considering Lego will probably want Buckbeak exclusive to Hagrid's Hut). The other would be a Second Task set with Harry, Krum with a Shark head, a Mermaid and Hermione. The build would be a similar size to the Atlantis set from Justice League and at least all the minifigures would be fairly unique. Can anyone think of other memorable scenes from either of the two films that would work in such a small set?

    Harry Potter 2019 - Rumors & discussion

Am I right in thinking that there were three confidential sets rumoured for August? I remember hearing about one which was meant to be $15 and another which was the Knight Bus but can't remember the prices of the others. Could the Knight Bus be the $55 set or was there another smaller set listed as well?

    Harry Potter 2019 - Rumors & discussion

I don't think we're going to get anymore sets from the first two Fantastic Beasts films but I hope the Swooping Evil returns in the upcoming films as I'd really like a molded version of it. Same for the Baby Nifflers! Shame the Zouwu would probably be too complex to mold or brick-build. Chamber of Secrets and Fluffy would be amazing! I'm not so fussed about the Shrieking Shack though as we never got a good look at the exterior in the films so it would probably be quite a boring build. At least we've got almost all the characters from that scene besides Wormtail (I really hope the Sirius minifigure from the Patronus sets leaks soon). There's four different owls at the moment but I really hope Lego make a new mold for them in flight. I imagine there will be a new Burrow set next year which would probably be the best place for Ginny and Arnold the Pygmypuff.

Didn't you say that the proto build for the horntail used the molded thunder-bird head as a stand-in? Also was the build for the dragon mostly brown or a dark red? Loving the focus on magical beasts in sets so far! After this wave Lego will have covered most of them apart from the merpeople, Fawkes and werewolf Lupin, all of which could hopefully come in a second minifigure series. Hopefully if there are some Order of the Pheonix sets next year we could get some more Thestrals (I loved the new mold they used in the carriage). I also think that once Lego have covered the most recognisable scenes and locations from each film they will go back to fill in the gaps as long as the theme is successful and Fantastic Beasts films are still coming out (I just really want another Chamber of Secrets).

    Harry Potter 2019 - Rumors & discussion

While we're discussing about variants of minifigures does anyone else think that the minifigures for Harry, Ron and Hermione in this wave will look the same even though they're based on two different films? Considering how last year in the Hogwarts Express set (based on Prisoner of Azkaban) they had short minifigure legs instead of the medium legs introduced in the CMF, I wouldn't be surprised if Harry had the Lloyd hair in black across all 4 sets he's meant to appear in. I expect Ron will have the same face and hair piece used as well for both POA and GOF, though Hermione will probably have a new hair piece for her Yule Ball figure.

Thank you so much for rendering this! Definitely not what I expected as I was expecting the Clock Tower to be far taller. I guess it was designed so the interior is big enough to fit the Yule Ball inside. Just out of curiousity do you have a rendering of the Great Hall and Whomping Willow sets from last year? Very curious to see what they all look like once connected together

    Harry Potter 2019 - Rumors & discussion

I would definitely expect it to be the two-room hut from Prisoner of Azkaban as the trio being able to sneak out round the back from Fudge and Macnair to rescue Buckbeak was quite an important part of the film! I thinks its also at a higher price point than the last Hagrids Hut sets so it should be a bit bigger. I absolutely loved the brick-built Fantastic Beasts from the suitcase last year so have quite high hopes for the Horn-Tail! I'm expecting that it will still have a uniquely molded head, spiked tail and wings

Although Lego could probably have stopped using the medium legs for students by Year 4 I like the choice for Harry as he's meant to look younger than the other champions

I love Harry's new hair! It's more unique than his hair in the minifigure series at least and his hair was really long in Goblet of Fire anyway! it'll be interesting to see what hair Ron and Hermione have in the new Yule Ball set.

Honestly I would really like to thank the Random Bricker for what he told us but I don't think cluttering up the thread with apologies is necessary: leaks should always be treated with scrutiny otherwise we'll be speculating about the sets with too high expectations! Also just a reminder that he gave us the details that Krum would come in a Yule Ball set before parts of his minifigure leaked Personally I'm more excited to see other parts of his details emerge! We're finally going to get another Sirius minifigure, and in the cheapest set as well. I also can't wait to see Macnair and Fang in the Hagrid's Hut set and the Horntail in the First Task set.

    Harry Potter 2019 - Rumors & discussion

That's the most likely option as we got the same with the Aragog set last year which I really enjoyed! The more small trees we get in sets the easier it is to start making a proper Forbidden Forest!

    Harry Potter 2019 - Rumors & discussion

If there's one thing Lego have proven with this theme its that they're not skimping on new animal molds: the niffler, Scabbers, thestral, patronus, buckbeak, thunderbirds head and Nagini all prove this! I speculate that if a werewolf Lupin figure is made it will be in a minifigure series, not a set and that he will look a bit like this https://imgur.com/gallery/MqstnqG just with extra fur printing and the gargoyle legs in grey. Anyway, hopefully now that lego have made one transparent animal with the stag they will mold more animals in the same colour for a Dumbledore's Army set next year (hopefully). I could see an Astronomy Tower set happening with the Room of Requirement, Umbridge's Office and the room where Draco confronts Dumbledore for scenes from Order of the Pheonix/Half-Blood Prince.

    Harry Potter 2019 - Rumors & discussion

Oh wow even with the leaks I couldn't believe we were finally getting a stag patronus! And in the smallest set too The sidebuild of that set could literally be the ugliest assembly of bricks that lego has ever put in a set and I would still buy it the day it comes out! Especially since it comes with Sirius and a Dementor, both figures I've really wanted since the Hogwarts Express set last year! Honestly if Lego keeps this awesome theme going during the years between the Fantastic Beasts film I'm going to start running out of space to display my sets

    Harry Potter 2019 - Rumors & discussion

Just seen the faces for Krum and Fleur. Krum has no facial hair, his head has a stern/angry expression with a closed mouth, reminds me of the male elf heads from LOTR. No facial hair or stubble printing. Uses Finn from Star Wars' head piece Fleur has a smirk, not a very good likeness of the actress but it looks alright. She has a blonde ponytail piece with a fringe swept to the side (recolour of the hair piece used for Clair from JW) Its on mini-legogos story on instagram. The heads are on the new avengers bodys, not the torsos they will actually have in the sets. Might be fake but I'm convinced.

Marvel Superheroes 2019 - Rumours, Speculation & Discussion

Honestly these sets looked pretty fun considering how limited Lego probably were. Lego seems to rely mostly on concept art and broad synopses of new films when they're making sets about them so if A4 trailers are going to only (mostly) include scenes from the first twenty minutes its no wonder this is all we've got. I'd say there's a possibility more sets are coming but given how much Marvel does not want the film spoiled I think this might be it. Unless there's an exclusive with Ronan and Valkyrie everything else that might happen in the film is just too spoilery for Marvel to give Lego enough information to make sets about it. Also its weird but the two playsets both look better from the back of the box rather than the front. Could just be the angle though

    Harry Potter 2019 - Rumors & discussion

Could the mods pin the summer set list to the front page of this thread and just flag them as unconfirmed rumours? Otherwise I feel like the set list will just keep getting repeated every few pages. It would be amazing if Harry's hair was the same mold as Lloyd's! I found the hair used for the Dimensions and CMF figure really underwhelming so this would be a much better alternative. What I wonder is whether all the Harry minifigures will have the same hair even though they're from two separate films, as that's what Lego did for Harry's new hair mold in the first wave. I feel like what Lego is doing is trying to fit a lot of memorable scenes into iconic buildings or vehicles. I get the feeling that for the larger sets of Hogwarts especially only the really memorable parts of the castle will be included, while mid-range sets will just have generic parts of the castle like the Whomping Willow set. Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if we got the Astronomy Tower next year with a Room of Requirement and Dumbledore's office to recreate scenes from Order of the Pheonix and Half-Blood Prince (though this is just speculation)

    Harry Potter 2019 - Rumors & discussion

Ah sorry, I have been following this forum I just missed out on the last few days and after reading the latest two pages of posts there seemed to be a bit of confusion and not much actual discussion about the rumoured sets themselves. Going back to the sets its the builds of the larger sets that are going to decide if I get many of them or not. The Patronus set and Advent Calender will be definite buys for me though as I need one of the new Dementors and hopefully a few of the minifigures from the larger sets last year will be included in the Advent Calendar such as Lupin, Quirrel, Mcgonnagal or Susan Bones, as well as the trio and a few nice minibuilds

    Harry Potter 2019 - Rumors & discussion

Hey everyone, just in case anyone's out of the loop I'm just going to post the information here that TheRandomBlocker told me and presumably quite a few others over PM 1) Hagrid's hut Includes Hagrid, Harry, Hermione, Ron, Macnair, Minister and a Moulded Buckbeak 2) Tri-Wizard Challenge includes Cedric, Fleur, Harry, Krum and a Brickbuilt Horntail 3) Patronus includes Dementor, Harry, Sirius and Stag 4) Clocktower includes Dumbledore, Fleur, Harry, Hermione, Madame Maxime, Ron and Viktor 5) Knight Bus includes Ernie and Stan TheRandomBlocker has also said on this forum that he saw these at the Toy Fair and the displays were preliminary, with labelled cardboard cutouts for the characters present instead of physical minifigures. Before anyone gets upset about any of the details here, there is a chance its fake but there is also a chance that the builds and possibly even the figure inclusions (such as the absence of Harry in the Knight Bus and the molded stag in the dementor set) may be different when the sets are actually officially revealed. An example of a not finalised set display at the Toy Fair is the Great Hall from last year, which had a slightly different build and a few prototype minifigures in the absence of the new molds we actually got https://www.fbtb.net/lego-harry-potter/2018/02/17/toy-fair-coverage-2018-harry-potter/ Hope this helps, just trying to help if anyone's a bit confused about what's going on
