This is great! The Fluffy set works really well next to the Gryffindor Tower, I love how that big looks accurate to the films. I definitely think I’ll split the Chamber of Secrets tower in two like you’ve done it I display that set from the outside.

Thanks for this edit! I really like how the Fluffy corridor bit could look like next to Lockhart's classroom. The Quidditch door also look quite good on the ground floor next to the rock too, that set is actually quite useful to make another tower. I think apart from nostalgia another obvious answer is that the green roofs are there to contrast with the dark grey rocky foundations. I feel like if there was dark grey on the bottom and top it would not look as good - this was a problem the D2C Hogwarts avoided too by having their rock features dark tan to keep the foundations a different colour to the roofs as well.

Thanks for this, I hadn't actually seen the Girl's Bathroom from the outside yet! I definitely think some of the configurations advertised are meant to put together just like that from the inside, I feel like Lockhart's classroom is permanently going to stay above the Girl's Bathroom for me. I do love how modular the rooms are though, really hope we get another year of this just for some more room-space . Maybe this is our chance to finally get a good roomy Gryffindor's Common Room

Would that be the Richard Harris Dumbledore or the Michael Gambon Dumbledore? Just checking as they could release the blue-robed Dumbledore from the cmf without any obvious reprints. Also I can’t believe the only set we don’t have HD pics for is the Fluffy set! Hopefully we see it today

The Anniversary Sets are everyone I was hoping for My favourites: Chamber of Secrets (definite buy!) The Forbidden Corridor (I'd get it if my youngest brother hadn't already bagsy-d it for Fluffy) Hogsmede (possible buy) Chess set (possible buy) Girls' Bathroom (definite buy just because of the Chamber sink entrance - I love the black slide in the chamber set) Flying Lesson (probably won't buy) Fawkes and the Megafigures (well-designed but not interesting to me) Also I'm so excited by the rock foundations on these new sets, I've got loads of those 4x6 rock pieces so I'm really looking forward to putting rock under a few more of my towers

Oh ok, I had the wrong idea then. So sets we don't know will contain a golden figure are the buildable Fawkes, the D2C, the Advent Calendar and any exclusive/polybags that also come out.

This would be interesting as it could mean there are only golden figures in the June sets and the buildable Icons doesn’t come with a gold fig either

Honestly I’m more excited to see the builds than I am any more leaked figures. I’m most excited to see the Hogsmede shops in hd, the Chamber interior and the build for the chess pieces

Ok so what do we think the most iconic objects in Harry Potter are? I would say: -the golden snitch -the sword of griffindor - the deathly hallows symbol (maybe as a necklace?) There’s also broomsticks, wand and the sorting hat but those are all very brown and might not be as instantly attractive / recognisable. Also it would be really cool if these ‘Icons’ were in scale with the brick-built Fawkes and Hedwig but I doubt that will happen as that would make a snitch build too small and the sword and broomstick models far too big

Ah good to know! I prefer the Zane golden figure but it makes sense that Nya is in the Kai set

I'm actually quite relieved the D2C isn't something I have to get like Gringotts or a great new part of Hogwarts, it means that this should be a much cheaper Lego year for me than last year! Also I second your point about more Anniversary Hogwarts sets - now that Lego seem to have introduced a system with bigger rooms it would be great to see more spaces in this larger style. Selfishly I've also still got green roofs in my Hogwarts display from the 2010 set so more of those is always good! I was hoping there would be at least one more playset that's an exclusive, which always leak later, but if there is another unknown August set it probably wouldn't be a minifigure set after all the brick-built sets which seem to be coming...

Do we know which golden figure is going to come with the Legacy Kai's fire dragon set? I'm intrigued to see how that dragon ends up looking, especially in the head sculpt - hopefully it's more naturalistic and less stylised than previous builds

Before these sets were even revealed Flitwick was my most anticipated figure and as a minifigure he appears to be a completely new and unique character, which might explain why he's so popular. I also guess that because McGonagall was included in a set in 2018 and then in the 2019 Advent Calendar she is seen as much more available and unexciting, despite the amazing new hat piece. If there are more Moments sets next January which teachers do you guys think would be more popular? I think Moody and Trelawney would be most sought after because they only appeared in the 2018 CMF, with Lupin closely after them. Though maybe a Hagrid Moments set would be popular with kids as an affordable way to get him?

I'm personally really excited for the new bits of Hogwarts just to see how the different rooms fit together. I also am looking forward to seeing how the rock structures work in the new sets so I can make some more, and have half my Hogwarts built on rock and half not (tho that might be a bit ambitious!) Also we haven't even seen most of the Chamber yet, I'd say that's the minifigure scale bit I'm most looking forward to!

Ah that's still cool as the temple is my second-most anticipated set of the wave, I'm mostly into Ninjago for the playsets and dragons and I really like the design of the Wuhira sea serpent thing. Also looking back at the preliminary photo for the temple I can see Nya's the minifigure to the right with the ghost-smoke legs in their original Hidden Side colours, and what looks like the purple squid guy who also leaked is in the middle (the main villain?). Does he also come in the water dragon set or is that a different character - comparing them they look like different head moulds but I'm not sure.

Looks amazing! Do we know what set that version of Nya comes in? (I assume it's not the water dragon set, that would be too convenient )

Oh thanks for making that clear, that's really good to hear that the Hogwarts Anniversary sets are still coming in June! It is strange that Promobricks are seeming more certain that the others sets will definitely come in August when the reveal of 6 golden minifigures would suggest at least two of the sets are coming in June alongside the Anniversary sets

Unfortunately with Promobricks potentially changing the release date for the Anniversary sets as @Lego-Freak said it seems that we might have to wait a much longer time for the sets to be revealed, if they really are coming out in 4 months instead of 2 months

So the fact that only six minifigures have been revealed when there's 3 sets we know about lumped together in what was thought of as an August wave suggests to me that 2 of those 3 sets will actually be coming in July and 1 will come out in August along with the D2C and maybe an unknown regional exclusive. So there'll be 2 or 3 more golden minifigures coming at a later date - Golden Dumbledore HAS to be included in the £250 set imo. So I think in June we will get the 4 Anniversary playsets + whatever the Flying lesson is with Golden Quirrell, and a sixth set with Golden Snape - either the £40 buildable Fawkes or the £70 chess set. So between the Chess or Fawkes which set do you guys think is most likely to come out in June with the normal wave? EDIT: 500th post, yay!

Wow I think the cmf bring Disney+ means it should have the minifigure line-up I’m most interested in, far more than comic versions and even a little bit more exciting than random film characters (tho I would love some more figs from the Thor trilogy) Does anyone else feel like this choice excludes the chance for old-timey minifigures - if we get one Wanda figure it should be her in the suit so I can’t imagine a second black-and-white Wanda figure being included, so hopefully all the other figures are in colour too. So I’m imagining IF there’s 12 figures we get roughly 3 characters from each series but I swear a leaked on here suggested there could be more than 12 for this one?

Yeah it remains to be seen if the August sets (which per Brick Clicker could possibly still be June sets) have golden minifigures. If a golden Dumbledore or other character leaks from a factory I feel that means we can be certain more sets come with golden minifigures than the 4 we definitely know of.

I’m hoping there will be a trapdoor feature above the Chamber of Secrets so characters can drop down into it. Also it looks like there’s no solid walls on the sides of the rock sections, just arches, so maybe the rock archway can be pressed to one side instead of sticking out?

Great news, hopefully it’s the newer mould with its wings outstretched so it can be used for Dumbledore’s podium
