Not trying to start a fight here, but all I'm trying to say is wait for Hogwarts - they will most likely be covering the characters/scenes we aren't getting in the other sets in that (DADA Professors, Order of the Phoenix, Death Eaters,etc.) -

It's obviously not focused on 1-3... It seems to be more focused on the Hogwarts grounds and Aragog, Whomping Willow, and the Flying Car are just the easiest ways of portraying that within 3 affordable sets. As for the minfig series, they are giving us obscure figures that would be a waste of space in sets or just wouldn't work, and it just so happens that most of those characters are from the 1st 2 films. The Dursleys, Potters, and Ghosts just wouldn't fit in any sets that people would ACTUALLY buy, even though they are cool figures. I'm guessing the Hogwarts set will be more focused upon the later films. -

Honestly just give us a UCS Jurassic Park Visitor's Center with a small wave of sets based on the other films (Spinosaurus, Triceratops, Brachiosaurus, etc.) and I'll be happy. -

I'm actually pleased they don't seem to be too focused on Fantastic Beasts, but more of a focus on Potter. I'd rather have a full and character filled Hogwarts rather than a bunch of FB characters with no scenery to put them in. And there's no way we aren't getting Tina, Queenie, or Jacob. They wouldn't do that. -

That's an interesting list and by the looks of them including more of the obscure characters rather than the main ones, it looks like we'll be getting the more popular characters in the Hogwarts set. Possibly the UCS Hogwarts will be Battle of Hogwarts themed??? There are no DADA teachers on that list along with the Order of the Phoenix, so maybe they'll be included in Hogwarts? This gets me really curious... -

It's going to be a minifig scale set. Obviously not microscale... I don't see why everyone is so shocked about the 14 figures. Lego is smart and they know that having all of the main Harry Potter characters to fill the Great Hall will be an amazing selling point. Plus, they are the basic figures in Hogwarts uniforms, nothing too special or wildly rare/exclusive, probably just updated versions. They know the wave is going to be small so they are just stacking the sets with figures, because Harry Potter is known for its wide variety of characters. Even though it's $90, they couldn't just give 5 characters in the Great Hall. It's just not that type of scene and Lego is getting smarter and smarter with understanding what people are willing to buy. -

Amazing to hear. I'm so happy that after an originally odd first lineup of sets, we'll be getting the minifigures to back it up. And if the Great Hall really is that stacked with figures, I can only IMAGINE what will be in Hogwarts. My other thought is that that 14 figure lineup is for the UCS Hogwarts. Can anyone confirm this? Also, who is in the Ford Anglia set besides Harry and Ron? I'd find it wierd if both that and the Aragog set only have Harry and Ron. -

The most iconic aspects of Hogwarts are the Great Hall and Great Tower. Im honestly surprised the UCS set isn't just these two areas on top of rocks, but having the Great Hall be a separate set will be amazing, leaving more leg room with the castle. Lego isn't dumb and nowadays is very focused on quality and how true the sets look to the things we see in films. So if the Great Hall is going to be big, so is the rest of the castle compared to it, and quite frankly, the Hall really isn't the largest area, so this set has potential. Also, they won't be puling anything like the Death Star set did with the Final Duel set. If Great Hall is a set, it wont be part of the UCS, being they are in the same wave. The original Death Star set came out in 2008 with the Final Duel out in 2015, giving fans a chance to have this iconic scene as a set, rather than part of the whole Death Star. See what I mean? Also, idk why people are fighting about "scale". Obviously, the set isn't going to be to scale, but hopefully it'll be in a minifigure "scale" like the Death Star. -

Guys lets be real, if the Great Hall really is the $90 set, they obviously wont be do another Great Hall in the UCS version. The UCS Version will most likely have the Great Tower along with other towers and bridges such as Gryffindor Tower, classrooms, The Clock Tower with small courtyard. Maybe a greater scale version of the 2004 and 2007 Hogwarts Castle's that seem to be more movie accurate. -

Wasn't expecting this year to be as good as it is, especially the fact that Lego is incorporating all eras of Star Wars, new and old. From Clone Wars (Grievous, Jedi BP, Anakin's Starfighter), Solo (Millennium Falcon), the OT (X-Wing, TIE, Yoda's Hut, Sandcrawler, Cantina), and Last Jedi, with more to be revealed soon! Literally all we're missing is The Ghost! -

Anyone thought of the idea that the Ford Anglia Escape may include Hagrid's Hut as well? Or part of the castle, like the scene with the Willow in Chamber of Secrets? Just a thought, I'm just baffled if Lego doesn't include Hagrid's Hut somehow!! -

My guess is that Newt's Briefcase isn't a full brick built briefcase with buildable creatures... It's probably going to be a set with maybe Newt, Tina, or Jacob with one creature, like the erumpant or something, maybe similar to that new Black Panther set with the rhino. They just have to throw in FB sets, even though we'd all prefer more Potter. The Harry Potter sets sound great though, they seem to be focusing more on the Hogwarts grounds and building that up rather than additional places like the Hogwarts Express, Burrow, and Diagon Alley. Once all the sets are done, it'll probably be really cool to see a big castle along with the Forbidden Forest (Aragog, Whomping Willow, Flying Car, possibly Hagrid's Hut?) -

Lets be a little realistic with the minifig lists; If we are in fact getting a Great Hall and Hogwarts, those will probably include the main set of students, professors, and others (Harry, Ron, Hermione, Dumbledore, Hagrid, McGonnagall, Voldemort, Malfoy, Snape, Ginny, Luna, Sirius, Lupin, Neville, Bellatrix, etc.) The minifig line would probably include the characters that would be hard to place in those settings, something like this: - Harry variant - Ron variant - Hermione variant - Fred - George - Molly - Arthur - Umbridge - Quirrell - Slughorn - DADA professor - Professor - Professor - Death Eater - Griphook or Dobby - Triwizard Champion - Tonks - Kingsley -

Really happy to hear that Hogwarts will be a UCS sized set, and I think its the PERFECT marketing tool to make the Great Hall a separate set for people to add on to their main castle. Hopefully the Aragog set is Hagrid's Hut as well! -

I won't believe this rumor till I see it. Hopefully Aragog comes with Hagrid's hut, and like someone said, the sets add to a bigger UCS Hogwarts. Hopefully they don't sell this wave short. -

So pumped Lego is doing some OT and Prequel sets, especially Clone Wars! I was nervous it was just gonna be Han Solo and Last Jedi this year! They have a lot of potential to do some good things, I really hope they include some figures we havent gotten in a long time also. Hopefully they do something like this: Anakin's Starfighter: Anakin, Ahsoka, R2D2 X Wing: Luke, R2D2, Wedge or Biggs, Leia or Dodonna Sandcrawler: The usual droids, Jawas, and Luke, but this may be a chance to finally include Aunt Beru! Solo Millennium Falcon: Would be awesome with a new Han, Lando, and Chewie And one of those confidential sets BETTER be Snoke's Throne Room with an updated Snoke figure (taller, maybe a head mold) because the last was garbage -

The First Order ATST has such great figures, just wish the build worked also. They should just take the Rogue One ATST off shelves and made way for the new one; if people wanted the 2016 one, they should've got it already since its been out for a year and a half! Really hope we see Snokes Throne Room sometime with Kylo, Rey, an updated Snoke, and 2 Praetorians, maybe the summer release if the Solo movie is pushed back. Hopefully they also make room for other Last Jedi sea so we can have DJ, Leia, and maybe some vulptexes -

Yodas Hut and Clone Battlepack come out in April along with the Solo sets. Well prob see their final versions at the NY Toy Fair in February I think the Defense on Crait set looks amazing. The January sets are usually much better than the force Friday ones because I feel that those ones seem to keep a lot of the movie on the down low and just give the basic figures -
