I was quite excited when I heard the rumors about 75191, but when I saw those images with the same old hideous design from TCW, it really disappointed me. I was going to get this set but it would have to be on a huge sale and need serious modification before I could even consider buying and displaying it.

The kind of beautiful work designers such as yourself can do in such a small space is always impressive. Great job Khaled, this is a very fitting tribute.

That SWCO exclusive looks so cool and it would really add to my display and collection. Since I can't go to SWCO I probably will have to BL it because it is so good.

Oh wow...just wow...I have no words to describe how amazing that is. I have never seen a UCS TIE Defender that seemed so sturdy and looked so good I really wish you could make a gallery of it in real bricks.

This isn't all too bad. It has good form, hopefully I can finish my LDD example that I haven't been able find inspiration for.

I finally got (75170)! I almost though I screwed myself over because I saw it early at TRU, but realized I forgot my gift card. Then I tried my Target on Sunday, but they didn't have any winter wave sets. Then I heard about it being 20% off on the TRU site and with my gift card it only cost me $11, at least my wallet benefited from the wait!

Seriously it is just ridiculous seeing all this BS over rehash this and rehash that. Take a look at the Snowspeeders in ESB, then look at 10129 and 75144, which one looks more like the Snowspeeder in ESB? And if you really need it on r/lego there is a comparison between the two. But this moaning will continue so at least for those who have the sense to see this as an improvement (and the money ) we'll be able to own one. Anyways now that my little rant is over, I must say that TLG couldn't have executed this any better. Just looking at it the improvements are massive, they fixed pretty much every aesthetic problem like the front which I'm so glad they are hinging those two panels that connect the front one to the wings, also the cockpit which very accurately shaped, and the improcements serm to continue. I was at first having skepticism regarding this but now I will definitely be getting it plus as a bonus I can get the may the fourth promo and it will be a great birthday gift to myself.

You and me both. I really can't wait for Friday as it has still been seemingly forever so I am going to see if TRU has one of the smaller sets early although I will wait to buy the larger ones during the double points period in March.

(I don't know if someone has posted about this already, and if they have I am sorry for the duplicate post.) On the US S@H site LEGO has put up the listings for 75168, 75169, and 75170, along with 75172 and it confirms the already confirmed prices by people who have gotten the sets at TRU early. But the main point is 75168, 75169, and 75170 are all listed as Coming Soon on February 17, 2017. I don't know if this is an error, or why the Y-Wing still has a March 1 release, but the wait will hopefully be shorter in the US for some or all of the sets!

I'm really pumped for the new UCS Snowspeeder. It really confuses why people always complain at every new set TLG releases, just cause a set is a rehash doesn't make it instantly a demoniacal cash grab as most of them are major improvements. Hope we have pictures soon.

Oh wow they have been on a roll with the Buildable Figures (faceless ones at least), Death Trooper was amazing, so as Shoretrooper, and now an OT Stormtrooper commander and Scout Trooper on speeder bike, it might be as close as we ever get to a ucs one! Also it will be nice to get a 4-LOM (I think) and a new Bossk. The Quadjumper and Rathar sets seem surprisingly good. And the Vader's transformation being a huge improvement over the previous. Also the tracker seems somewhat interesting but clearer pictures will be the decider there.

2016 has been a very successful year for LEGO Star Wars. There so far have been 37 Star Wars sets released (including the 9 sets to be released September 30th). They also made a new LEGO Star Wars TV show, The Freemaker Adventures which just aired its final episode. But 2016's UCS sets have sparked loads and loads of controversy, when the images and details of 75098 UCS Assault on Hoth it sparked outrage as many people though it costed way too much, didn't deserve the UCS title, and was a lazy attempt with so much incompleteness, and other complaints. The other UCS set is the 75159 UCS Death Star, it also has been criticized as a lazy attempt and a cash grab by LEGO. ^ 75098 UCS Assault on Hoth ^ 75159 UCS Death Star Set Reactions: Now I totally see everyone's point on 75098 and I think it was a very poor effort by TLG, but I differ from the majority on my opinion of 75159. I believe that 75159 is great, I have heard how upset people were when 10188 was discontinued, but it was very old and needed an update. Then when we got the update everyone is so outraged and upset with TLG for not changing it much. I see that people wanted something new, but 10188 was selling well for the 7.5 years it was being produced so why change it, everyone loved the set. Now I also see why people are upset about the price hike, but two factors called for it, first is that inflation sucks and accounts for roughly $50 of the increase, and second back in 2008 there was only LucasFilm with the rights to Star Wars, but now LEGO needs both Disney and LucasFilm licencing which isn't cheap, so it sucks but we know that this had to be done to continue to make profit. Also this might be slightly biased because I got to the LEGO and Star Wars buffet late and by the time I bought my first Star Wars set in late 2015 I was not yet big enough a fan to consider buying 10188, so I want 75159 badly an that is also my final reason for why there was nothing wrong with what TLG did with 75159, because there were so many more who wanted and couldn't get the original and we now have a second chance to get it. I have nothing against Brick Ministry but I don't trust that price because he's the only person I've ever seen to confirm US pricing while no one else has.

Oh I will pray for this to be true if it is that much cheaper here in the US that will provide some justification for our three month wait. Please take a pic I want this to be true and confirmed so I don't have a huge letdown. Well the Anakin Podracer set wasn't real and was actually the Eclipse Fighter. But the Phantom II is actually real so unless it has another set;s DCPI code than it has more legitimacy than the Anakin Podracer tags.

I have seen far fewer of these in LEGO than there should be. This is gorgeous, great job!

Hello, So recently I was at my school's local book fair and I saw this on the shelves: So I was wondering has anyone else seen this? Why does this book (from 2015) have the Celebration Luke minifig? And also why can't I find any indication of this book existing anywhere I look (I checked Brickset, BL, & LEGO Shop@Home)? Anyway if you can help me figure out what is going on here. But nonetheless I'm super excited to have this fig and I am going to buy the Celebration Han off a friend in a few days, now I just wish the Celebration Leia was cheaper.

My bad I wasn't paying attention to size, but it looks off, although it might be lighting cause I have 6x6 tiles in LBG and they are more matte than other tiles.

Noo! It really is Mega Blocks . Are we forgetting that LEGO doesn't even make a 4x4 flat tile, that's the immediate give away, no dout NOT LEGO.

Look up lego collectible figures, the more recent series, and you'll see tons of examples. Basically an arm or a leg have two separate colors that are molded together. It creates the appearance of either shorts or boots on legs and short sleeved shirts and gloved arms. Oh thank god someone finally confirmed my suspicion about this. Ever since getting the CMF Banana Guy I figured his arms were an example of this, but never got to confirm it and kept forgetting. Thanks for the answer.

I only found one thing interesting in the Freemaker sets and that was Dengar.

I have been wanting 75152 Imperial Hover Tank since Rogue Friday, but I ended up getting 75153 AT-ST because I wanted it even worse. Then I woke up this morning and out of the blue I decided to go out and get 75152 finally.

This looks great. I had been thinking of making my own version of this in LDD and this definitely make me want to get started on mine right away.

This really sucks we have lost so many great Star Wars actors this year it is so sad to see another one go. RIP Carrie Fisher and May the Force be With You...Always.

I am now confused. Does anyone have the US set release dates for all the sets and will any come out in January.
