    Tram Depot and BrickPolis

Great walkthrough of your city. The buildings that are your MOCs fit very well with the official builds and have excellent details. Switching tracks inside the depot works very smoothly. Fantastic build!

    [MOC] Abandoned Barn

If you want to leave it out in my house for a couple of weeks to acquire the appropriate level of dust, let me know. :) Great details inside the barn. The mix of different colored tiles for the walls works well. Are those long-forgotten Frisbees on the roof?

    [MOC] IKEA microscale

Great attention to detail on the building at that scale. Of course, if it was truly accurate, all of the parking places would be filled.

    [MOC] Circle

The poseability and sense of movement on these figures are fantastic. I could look at these all day to figure out the different ways that everything is connected.

    Wooden roof truss

    Got it. Thanks.

    Wooden roof truss

I really like the shaping of that! Because I'm always looking to learn: In those central diagonal beams, how do you get the inverted 11477 parts to remain in place?

    [MOC] Modified Detective's Office

All of the details inside are fantastic. I love the idea of the levers with Technic pins in the base to easily move buildings in and out without having to pull apart a whole street.

    [MOC] Edificio Metropolis Madrid

I love all of the details on this! You did an excellent job making this match with the real-life equivalent.

    [MOC] Legoland Movie Theater

This is really stunning. Great work on this faithful recreation!

I love all of the little scenes inside. Well done on the all of the details!

    contest Braaiiinnss!!! Sci-Fi Contest

Thanks @Bob De Quatre for helping to run this! I decided to stop lurking and start building/sharing on here because of it. It also forced me to learn mundane things like how to post a picture correctly. :)
  15. After the last few months, my family has learned that nowhere is truly safe. Allies become enemies. Walls are breached. Simple illnesses become death sentences. Anyone who thinks he is safe is kidding himself. I remember the last time we felt safe. That was before my daughter was an only child. Full scene by BillyBricks, on Flickr Recently, we have found a rhythm in moving from place to place in the city. After our apartment complex fell to the dead, we managed to escape into the streets, foraging as we went and finding shelter that could last for a few days before having to move on. Although the dead seem to constantly stalk us, it's the living we must watch out for. If we thought people were self-serving before, we were mistaken. Crashed Car by BillyBricks, on Flickr Gunshots by BillyBricks, on Flickr Watching as my husband and daughter get what sleep they can, I remember when keeping my family safe meant buying the right foods, watching for suspicious characters at the playground, and going to the doctor annually. Those memories are already starting to fade. Now, they are replaced with frantic running and desperate attempts to find supplies to keep going for one more day. Female Survivor by BillyBricks, on Flickr As I carve this new spear, I almost start to relax. Two days ago we found this deli, which must not have been heavily looted because there were stacks of canned food and bottled water hidden in a corner in the basement. We've been here ever since, creating some simple defenses and even taking the time to hang a sheet so we can have a "private" toilet. Full Basement by BillyBricks, on Flickr It's times like these when I have to remind myself that letting my guard down can mean the difference between being hungry and tired tomorrow or never seeing that new dawn. I...What's that noise? It sounds like our trap upstairs worked. Speared Zombie by BillyBricks, on Flickr That will be something to deal with tomorrow. Another problem, and here I was feeling safe for a moment. But I have to remember, in the apocalypse, safe is a four letter word. Basement in dark by BillyBricks, on Flickr This is my first time entering a contest on Eurobricks. I have lurked on this site for months, enjoying the pictures of wonderful creations that others put up every day. I've only been back in LEGO for about a year now, and I've been building MOCs for less than half that time. It's probably pretty obvious that I am a newbie thanks to the fact that I decided to build three full walls on my bottom level (dark much?) and I'm using the camera on my phone to take pictures. I built this MOC so I could easily take the two levels apart, so at least that planning worked out. Coming up with an idea for the contest and working toward the deadline were both fun. I loved seeing all of the other entries, as well!

    @agrof Thanks! At 12:30 last night/this morning, I wasn't finding that information.

Late to the modular game *update pg 3!*

Actually, a guy on Brickset just put up his modular collection for sale this morning. A couple of the older ones he Bricklinked and made some substitutions, but the others he bought new, so if you want to contact him to see his prices for them used, that may be a way to go. I've dealt with him before, and he seems like a pretty upstanding seller with reasonable prices. Also, I guess this is what finally got me to stop lurking and make a post on this forum.
  18. Came back to LEGO in February and have been lurking these forums since May. Finally decided I would jump in and become an actual member of the community.
