    Modifing 12v Track to Half-Length

Maybe make the insulations not directly across from each other? So the motor passes over one and then the other insulation..? Just a thought, never tried this.

    Real headlights/taillights for 12V

I'm just an 'oldie' that doesn't know zip about 9V, RC and/or PF trains. My brick is made with the 'eighties' system in mind. Using the 1x6 brick and light prisms. Take a look at my third picture. If that'll fit into your train somehow, you're all set. My brick will work on 9V as well. Slightly less bright, of course, since 9V is less juice then 12V.

yeah, nice one! What brick did you use? Regular 2x2 or something else? I'm curious. I build mine from transparent 2x2's and then spraypaint them.

    Real headlights/taillights for 12V

strange. Here's my email again: jckaaden@gmail.com
  6. Hey everybody Wouldn't it be nice if your train lights actually changed from white to red when the train reverses direction? No biggie with LEDs. These things are direction-sensitive, so I just built them into a 2x2 brick. Of course video says it al: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sAtZ1Jik97Y Just replace the regular 12V lightbrick with these ones and you're good to go If you're interested, mail me at jckaaden@gmail.com I've got spares. You just might persuade me to part with them ;-) see you, Janco aren't 12V trains THE BEST!!!???
