Well, the book can be pre-ordered on amazon.com, so I guess it's legit (source: http://www.amazon.com/Lego-Harry-Potter-Magical-Characters/dp/0756692571/ref=sr_1_81?ie=UTF8&qid=1317319826&sr=8-81 ) It is mentioned that it includes an exclusive minifig (which shouldn't come as a surprise), but I wouldn't get my hopes up for anything fancy, it's probably going to be either Ron or Hermione. Come to think of it, the parallels between the HP and SW DK books are quite striking: we have two books per theme (one about the vehicles, places etc. and one about the minifigs) and all of them feature the main characters in festive outfits... So I bet it's going to be Ron with that silly costume he had to wear during the Yule Ball in GoF

Even the CIS celebrate X-mas, altough Santa Grievous has quite a pragmatic approach of choosing presents

Harry Potter: Years 5-7 Video Game

It's quite simple, just go to one of those cauldrons that can be found all over the castle, select the polyjuice potion and turn into the character you're looking for ;) -

Lego Spongebob Squarepants 2011 Discussion Thread
BrickBob Studpants replied to buddy's topic in LEGO Licensed
In SpongeBob Squarepants, the "Flying Dutchman" is not the ship's name, it is the character that is known by that name. So his ship (which doesn't have a name if I remember correctly) doesn't even have to be in the set as there are plenty of scenes in several episodes where the FD is seen without his vessel -

I agree with you, TLG wouldn't release two sets with the exact same name... And if they had a PotC FD set in mind for a future release, they would have chosen a different set name for the SpongeBob one. After all, the FD is a character in the latter case so that allows for a larger diversity of set names than a set containing a specific ship -

According to this store, there's going to be two new SpongeBob sets next year: (http://www.spielwaren-lippe.de/Baby-und-Kleinkindspielwaren/LEGO-SPONGEBOB-Der-Fliegende-Hollaender.html) - Der fliegende Holländer (The Flying Dutchman): 27,71 € - Unterwasser-Party in Bikini Bottom (Undersea party in BB): 55,75 € P.S: I remember that someone mentioned that there was a green version of Blackbeard's/Davy Jones' hat among the parts which were leaked from a Chinese factory this summer. Now we know what it is going to be used for -
Ok, thanks! Too bad it can't be pre-ordered on the other "Amazons" (is this even a word?). But maybe YodasMaster is right and the set already shows up in the Lego stores next month (and hopefully on s@h as well)

May I ask where? I checked every store that occurred to me and couldn't find one that has a pre-order offering

A Hogsmeade set would be great, especially if it was in the same style as the Diagon Alley set A Slughorn minifig wouldn't be farfetched IMO, even though I'd prefer him to be in a Hogwarts set so he could have his mortarboard. I'd imagine him to look like this: (My younger sister made this on photoshop) Felix Felicis anyone? -

I've just found a better picture of Davy Jones on the same site that brought us the last BP pics: https://exoneit.de/default.asp?ex=shop:produktedetail.asp&Artikel_id=103054&kat_id=7251 (The picture can't be deeplinked due to its size) The set itself may be a little underwhelming, but Jones certainly isn't -
Hm, I can't help but feel that the CM graduate's mortarboard might be foreshadowing a Slughorn minifig... It wouldn't be the first time (e.g. the musketeer having the same hat as Barbossa or the skateboarder's hairpiece which was used for Ron afterwards) Well, even if HP turns out to be over, at least we get a mortarboard we can use for custom Slughorn minifigs And the CM series 6 butcher's got a nice hat that could be used for Kingsley...

Well, I'm not convinced HP won't continue next year because "no news" doesn't automatically entail "bad news". I mean the fate of other current lines hasn't been determined yet either (in fact, the only news we have as of now only concern SW, City and Ninjago). I don't think HP, POTC, Pharao's Quest, Kingdoms and Alien Conquest are all doomed just because their (dis-) continuation hasn't been confirmed yet. The videogame on the other hand is not a good sign since Batman and Indiana Jones were both discontinued after the release of the respective game (in case of IJ, the second one). I personally would like to see a few more sets, there are still a lot of places and characters that need to be released as/in lego sets

There will be a new LSW game this autumn, including a level editor: http://www.starwars-union.de/nachrichten/1...s_angekuendigt/ According to starwars-union.de, the story of both seasons will be concerned and some characters of the previous games will make a return
-
I think we can rule that out because it's definitely Snape's head they've reused here (and besides, the kepi wouldn't cover the second face even if there was one)... Source: I really like the updated versions of IG-88 and Dengar, especially the latter is a vast improvement. IMO, the bandana works a lot better than the Ninja hood (or the PoP one).

I don't think that this is the case since the BP isn't going to be an exclusive set (unlike the Pet Shop). A lot of online stores already have the BP listed and I'm sure one of them will leak the pictures once they get hold of them... @Deckard: I'm glad someone else liked the movie as much as I did, I really can't see why the critics are so harsh on this one. Maybe they're biased because of AWE, but they should be able to judge a movie by itself (and I still don't think AWE was as bad as everyone said). Or maybe we're biased, who knows -

REVIEW: 4195 Queen Anne's Revenge
BrickBob Studpants replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Pirates
Thanks a lot for your review! The interior may be a little lackluster but that doesn't distract from the beautiful exterior And the minifigs are top-notch (as always) P.S.: Can you tell me how tall this beauty is? If it's any taller than 50cm my current plans for positioning it on my shelves are doomed -

The Barbossa clone has now been replaced by Blackbeard In case they're continuing with one minifig a day they'll all be revealed by the end of this month... Does this mean that the sets might be released a little earlier? I don't remember how many weeks prior to the release of the HP sets the respective minifigs were revealed, but if it was close there, it might be as well here... -
And I live in Switzerland I know that some sets arrive a little late on "our" s@h, but the licensed summer sets (SW and Indy e.g.) have usually been available in June despite the stores getting them in August (or even September here in Switzerland), so I guess HP is no exception here. And in Germany, there's always Galleria Kaufhof, which gets the sets sometimes even before s@h does
-
The ordinary stores will get them in August I guess they'll be available on s@h in June, like most of the other summer sets...

True, but it's still a pretty iconic vehicle IMO. I mean, every franchise has it's (plot-wise) unimportant characters and/or vehicles that are still recognized and appreciated by many fans and are thus turned into merchandise And the Knight Bus is the only remaining iconic HP vehicle Lego could have released (at least the only one I could think of) and we all know how much Lego likes releasing vehicle-based sets
