[OFFICIAL] 10320 Eldorado Fortress - Available NOW
teos replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
There's an example of this for Barracuda Bay on rebrickable called "MOC - Exposition base for Pirates of Barracuda Bay" Also, the one I built by Robin_IV in this thread: https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/176598-modding-the-barracuda-thread/ These would give you an idea of how it might look. I will modify my Eldorado in this fashion, though first I want to build the expansion. -

I love it. Now I want a second set. My plan was to change the base to allow a sewer view for TMNT too.

Nearly all of the larger sets I order on Lego S@H home arrive with damaged boxes. Recents (off the top of my head): Ninjago City gardens, Sesame St., Winnie the Pooh, HP Diagon Alley, and Daily Bugle. Only Winnie arrived without a damaged box. The damage is probably enough to make box collectors furious. I don't save them anymore due to lack of space.

They cost $4.99 (USD), if you can even find them. Walmart has been known to sell collectible minifigures for $3.44, so time will tell.

I have tried doing a quick feel, as to not cause concern. Unfortunately, this method isn't quite so easy and I ended up guess wrong for 3 figures. I've managed 12 different characters, but there are no more figures for sale to even search. It seems like 3 small cities totaling about 100k people received a whopping 2 boxes.

Thanks for posting this image. I like this layout much more than how Lego is advertising the set (all side-by-side). Now to find $400...

In that respect, DA could be confusing too, as it more commonly stands for Dumbledore's Army in the HP universe.

LEGO Star Wars 2020 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!

I had Target's self-checkout block the purchase of the small Overwatch set that was shelved before the release date. Maybe it just depends on how thorough the store is with maintaining/enforcing street dates. -
LEGO Star Wars 2020 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!

I read some weeks (months?) ago that there was a UCS Imperial Shuttle coming soon. Has there been any news on this set? Thanks! -
Just like Disney Series 2, I find Lego's choice of HP figures to be lackluster. Of course, there are some nice ones, but it does little to fill in the important gaps.

[REVIEW] 42113 - Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey
teos replied to Ngoc Nguyen's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Highlighting this review on the main page is rather tactless. -
FYI: I'm not interested in this theme, but I thought I'd let others know that I saw Mario Toad polybags at Target yesterday. They were already on the shelf, though I did not scan one to determine the price. @ Mt. Pleasant, Michigan

Not all shipping services have the same level of service. The DHL international packages from Zavvi are an exceptional value for $10. I wouldn't be surprised if it would cost $100 or more for me to send that same package at a similar speed. Sometimes packages just get stuck and the wait times are extended. 3 weeks is slightly above average for standard international airmail and that doesn't factor in the current world crisis.
-
I would be very surprised if it didn't last through year end at the earliest. The USA may not even get the other new HP sets until September and the 1st wave is still available (temporarily out of stock at Lego s@h).
-
The Zavvi order arrived. DHL was a little wonky, but I'm still very pleased. I think this is a great option for those of us in the USA.

Honestly, I'm trying to convince myself to do the big one: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-30884/Playwell Bricks/hogwarts-castle-71043-epic-extension/?inventory=1#comments I even bought a second Hogwarts UCS to hopefully help make it happen.
-
From ....fett11 (510)? I currently have an order for the Astronomy Tower (no figs) with them. I have also bought similar lots for the Stranger Things and Apocalypseburg sets in the past. No problems.
-
I just purchased 4 sets from Zavvi (for the 1st time), so I'll keep this thread updated. I think it said 2-4 days for delivery, but I could be wrong. Shipping was $9.99 total (plus USA sales tax) for: Room of Requirement Privet drive Grawp set Jurassic baby dinos set

This forum is difficult to read, as nearly each page I have visited is full of cryptic messages. "will be what people want it to be" Isn't that a bit presumptuous? I have been hoping for an expansion to the Hogwarts UCS, since it is missing so much of the castle.

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
teos replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
Have you just tried just searching the base # for decorated parts on B&P? So the turtle's mold # would likely be 67040*. The other identifiers are likely Brickset (or BrickLink) specific for how they designate printed pieces. The "different ID" that you found is what BrickLink calls the color code. These are typically found in the back of the instructions for sets. I've never tried searching with these on B&P to see if they work, as I generally just use the set or mold #'s. *I don't know where my turtle is at the moment to double check -

Take the Trans-Yellow 6x6 dish from the new A-wing UCS. It is on B&P for $0.69, whereas it is $10 on BL. Occasionally, B&P is a good place to pick up rare parts. Take the black roof slope 75 2x2x3 double in the new haunted house set. The value of that part may take some time to drop on BL. Meanwhile, B&P had some for quite cheap the other day. Their page states that they can't offer parts from minifig series. It gives an error when searching series 20's set #.
