DC Superheroes 2017 - Set Discussion
Shishalzafrazz replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Whew! So, just to be clear, the DC Super Heroes 2017 rumors and discussion thread is not for discussion about potential DC Super Heroes sets, just for sure DC Super Hero sets, and any side tracking conversations that veer into any sort of speculatory theorizing is spam and people can publicly threaten to report you like titty babies because they don't like it and/or understand it? You guys are NO FUN. Adios, muchachos. I'm goin back to just using the Internet for hookin up with your moms. See you guys when you come upstairs for snacks!- 3020 replies

DC Superheroes 2017 - Set Discussion
Shishalzafrazz replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Or, it's directly related to the question in the post above it. It was posed would Lego give Wonder Woman her own set. Then it was theorized that the MM set might be a good indicator of that. Then I asked if anyone knew if the Wonder Woman Dimensions fun pack did as well as the other DC fun packs that had male characters, implying that might be a good indicator as well if Lego would give her a set of her own, foregoing the conclusion that if DC says make a Wonder Woman set, that's what Lego would do. How exactly is that spam?- 3020 replies

How did the Dimensions fun pack sell in relation to the other DC fun packs with male characters? Not that it means anything; just curious if it was close or not.- 3020 replies

Well, it's awesome. I hope it doesn't stay exclusive to this set.

Where else has that Tinkerbell face been used? It looks familiar. Is that the old Wonder Woman face?
-
Yes. This^

Whoa, those printed big tiles are awesome. You could make a pretty swanky 007 Turkish bungalow with a big pile of those and the wallpaper tiles from the 66 Batcave.

DC Superheroes 2017 - Set Discussion

In my home land, we called things like that a "Joak" (not sure if that's how you spell that). Man, some of you cats take yourselves way too seriously. By the way, are you a moderator or just generally condescending? Cause if not, that's not even your responsibility to point out, I believe. I get that you're maybe a little butt hurt about the UCS thing or whatever, but I know how open Internet forums work. Watch me segue right back into the framework... Anyway, yeah, only DC MM to discuss so far, and I want to bring up something I mentioned earlier and see if anyone can give a definitive answer on this: the Batman set is clearly "inspired" by the 66 Batman set and/or franchise, but the logos on both the helicopter and torso are from the later 70's & 80's Adams Super Friends/Powers design. Is this something they could or would fix over there at Lego or is it something they even care about? I feel like their attention to details like that are USUALLY pretty spot on. Then again, the logo they're using is probably more recognizable than the 66 one, which kinda looks like a Halloween decoration from Salvation Army. Anyone have any insight on the matter?- 3020 replies

Future Marvel Superheroes Rumors & Speculation
Shishalzafrazz replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Yeah, definitely don't want a conversation taking its natural course on the Internet between grown adults talking about brick toys to muddy up this highly sophisticated and organized thread entitled future marvel heroes speculation, or is it marvel 2016 rumors or is it marvel superheroes 2017 speculumors or another thread that concurrently running with eight different conversations that are all the same about how much we hate the stuff we can't wait to buy? Anyway, apparently the Batmobiles are called Ultimate Collectors EDITION, not series, so in web based technicalities, you are right. In real talk, those two and probably the Helicarrier are USC. In the rest of the world, it's a $350 toy you have to put together yourself. -

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
Shishalzafrazz replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
I always keep all the boxes for my sets because I think of Lego more like puzzles than toys, so I build em, leave em together for a bit and then break em down, put them back in their boxes for storage. I keep the minifigs separate so they don't get banged up by the other bricks, since the minifigs themselves seem to hold 90% of a sets value on the secondary market, but, all that said, the only boxes I've disliked so far are the ones with no tape (with the thumb punch out) and the MBA boxes, because you can't really store them in their sides as easily. And I do not like the Dimensions boxes, but I don't keep those anyway. -

Future Marvel Superheroes Rumors & Speculation

Pretty sure the Helicarrier was a UCS version, and the Burton Batmobile from the Batman line and the Tumbler from the DCSH line were most definitely both UCS. -
Whoa. First I find out Fox and Marvel are partnering up for a new X-Men tv show and now "who knows if Star Wars and Marvel will be in Dimensions but we like to break the rules" winks the guy who makes the game? If there's a nerd version of a lady boner, I'm pretty sure I just figured it out.
