  1. That sounds a little "wishlist-y" to me, especially since the "leaker" said that the Praetorian battle pack would include four guards... and that's ludicrous.
  2. That's because many of them are based on old Doug Chiang concept art for Episode I/II. He's a brilliant designer, one of few bright spots of the prequel trilogy.
  3. Yeah, but considering that piece has been around since 1999 and has been molded in all sorts of different colors, I doubt that's the reason why. That being said, I don't know why the Medical Droid's legs are DBG either.

    [MOC] Mos Espa Arena

I think he means the miniature. Also, I love the MOC! Absolutely ridiculous size without losing any detail.

    Buying Older Parts

Thank you for the insight! I was actually hoping you would comment, you're actually the one who got me to really notice and care about the mold variations! I guess it's just something that I'll have to accept - I won't ever be able to replicate the insanity of the exact molds used in each set without going insane myself.

    Buying Older Parts

I was recently given a lot with an assortment of sets from the early 90s that were in mostly good condition, but unfortunately there were some plates that were downright mangled. I'm a bit of a stickler with having the correct variation of bricks/plates (seen below) and unfortunately Bricklink does not differentiate between them. What would be the best way to get replacements (if there is a good way at all)? Am I being unrealistic?

LEGO Star Wars 2017 Pictures and Rumors

I was talking about the Geonosis Troopers and Senate Commandos battlepacks, which are technically part of the CW line but do not have cartoon faces.

Yeah, I was just hoping this would be a cheap way to get a CW Yoda since I've recently been buffing up my CW collection and don't have a Yoda yet. ...But I also don't have a prequel Yoda, so it all evens out.

LEGO Star Wars 2017 Pictures and Rumors

*Sigh* I was worried that would be the case. Don't get me wrong, I love how all the Rebels figures fit in with the film figures, but that was set from the start. Considering that there has only been ONE other CW set released with normal-eyed minifigures, I'd like the cartoon eyes trend to continue or for LEGO to release all the major CW characters with normal eyes... just pick one or the other! Now I have to BL a CW Yoda just so the ship can fit in with all of my other CW sets.

LEGO Star Wars 2017 Pictures and Rumors

Since the final CW sets had non-CW faces, does that mean the Yoda Starfighter will have prequel Yoda instead of CW Yoda?

    Misleading Lego Play Features

The 2014 Vulture Droid has a cockpit... which is completely wrong (and makes the model look awkwardly bulky). Vulture Droids pilot themselves in-universe.

    MOC AT-TE Midi scale

This straddles the line between extremely cute and just plain awesome - the use of flick fire missiles as the main cannons is a simple yet inspired solution. Great work!

    Star Wars Rebels

There are a couple small things that bug me about Maul's character design --- his teeth and his legs. His teeth are cleaner and straighter than they were in Episode I! And while it's very possible that he could've had an upgrade to his legs, that just doesn't fit with the way he's portrayed. He's supposed to be a deranged hermit now, right? Shouldn't he be like a grungy old man with rusted, squeaky metallic legs, maybe even with some chipped/broken horns? He looks so clean! I guess there's a spa on Malachor...

LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors

Yikes... $80 for Encounter on Jakku? I love the set and the figures, but that price is a little hard to stomach. I was hoping the Episode VII prices would go down in subsequent waves, but it looks as if that's not the case...
