That Orange Thing

IMG_0785 by That Orange Thing, on Flickr A small update to my hoth rebel. It's doctor Hibbert's legs with a regular white hip. I think the side printing is a nice improvement.

Thank god those bug eyed clones have gone.

It's a nice looking fig. Is it meant to be rebels inspired or OT? I guess it works for both looking at it.

The legs are Dino tracker but the head is a cavalry soldier from the Lone Ranger cavalry builder set.

Ebkas was correct as changing the hand colour on the Rodian and Duros figs was planned but it obviously slipped my mind. I think we all agree the hand colour is very close to flesh so needs changing to brown. The dark tan sounds more fitting but I'm guessing if it was a one off it will be rare and expensive.

I'm holding out hope for a rouge one imperial battle pack as the frowning rebel troopers just look weird to me. Hopefully it will contain 2 of the recent storm troopers, a death squad trooper and a scarab trooper. But knowing Lego they will give us 1 storm trooper with new printed torso (just to mess with army builders) and 3 imperial guard. I agree that the latest imperial battle pack is great once in your hands. The shock trooper is excellent, the crew Minifig is an excellent army filler and I converted the troopers into a custom battle scarred veteran unit that really is the stand out of my army. If Lego give you battle scarred troopers, make lemonade I say. ������

As you can see i bought a few of the torso's off bricks n pieces so the waist printing doesn't match on some but hopefully i can update that with new green leg camo pieces later on. Thought I'd post this to show some of the experimenting I'm doing. A couple of my favs are the Endor pilot with Hans blaster leg print and the figs that use the tan camo print from the recent rebel battle pack. The olive green dino hunter piece and brown gun slinger leg pieces are also interesting. Forresto, can i ask what backpacks your using and what figs are the capes from as they look amazing?

When i first saw the U-wing pics i thought it seemed a little chunky in the middle. A drop ship makes sense and will make an excellent lego ship.
