  1. I'd like to do the doors. However I would probably have to wait for the rest of the body to be complete before I could really make them fit. Also 23 studs seems a bit wide. For comparison, @Madoca 1977's Supercar was only about 20 studs wide.
  2. I've always wanted to do something like this. So if we really make concrete plans I would most likely join. I agree with what everyone else has said, we really need to plan this out thoroughly in order for it to be done right. Things like exactly what model are we creating, who is the leader, who's working on what, ect. We really should make sure everyone knows their specific roles and we don't have different people doing the same thing in different ways and lead to conflict. But we can have people working together on the same thing and collaborating. Basically what @Erik Leppen said. I also think we should try to make a time frame, because if not, the project might start to "collect dust on the shelf" and be forgotten. Not to make it hard on people, but just a general idea of when we want to try to get things done. If done right, this could have a lot of potential. Plus we could have people help on things other than building. Possibly filming, posting online (ex. Rebrickable) things like that. But I'm probably getting ahead of myself
  3. Awesome outriggers! It's nice that even after 3 years you're still persisting with this model.
  4. This is coming along nicely, I look forward to the finished model. I like the chassis with the combination Technic and studded Technic, must be very sturdy. Also that pneumatic cabin is a cool feature, I hope it becomes final.
  5. Nice little model. That steering solution is cool. Thanks for adding those pictures of the internals, they show a lot more.
  6. I personally like #3 and #9. I think #9 might look better with red wheels though. Also, will you be sharing the LDD?
  7. Awesome! That looks really cool.
  8. That looks much better. I didn't really like the engine cover before, but it's great now. Those axles are a nice finishing touch. You should do a render with this, the Hammerhead, and Steppenwolf. All the animal-themed friends!
  9. This is incredible! It's so beautiful, I love it so much Totally needs to be in the HoF.

    [MOC] Project Supercar X

The back is looking better than it was before. However the side was pretty ugly, with no structure or anything. But from this pic it looks like your working on that as well.
  11. This is beautiful. There are supercars, and there are ones like this that are just so... perfect. Any chance for a video?
  12. Very cool car, I really like that side profile view. However I think that these tires would look better at this scale.
  13. If it's as good as he says it would be worth it to pay extra and buy immediately.

    [MOC] Truck 6x6

It's not stupid, it's a very clean model, with an especially cool, aggressive front end. It's not really a failure if all you have to do is rebuild the front axle.
  15. The truck is pretty neat as it is, but once you learn it turns into a giant robot, it's even cooler.
  16. Really detailed, clean build. And it looks big! Very impressive MOC.

    Two Versions of 31070?

Hello all, While I was trying to build an alternate MOC of 31070, I came across many pieces I was missing. I checked the MOC's and Rebricable's set inventories, and they matched, so it was a true C-model. I downloaded instructions from Brickset, and I found all the parts went together in the set's main build. So where could the pieces have gone? The next morning, I downloaded the instructions from Brickset again. This time I downloaded the different set of instructions. I got to the step where the missing pieces should be, but they were gone. I quickly downloaded the other (newer) instructions, and the pieces were there in that step. So I check the instructions' parts list. One has the parts and one doesn't. I check my physical instructions. The missing parts aren't in the parts list. So I believe that there are 2 versions of the set, and I got the one with less parts. What do you have to say about this?
  18. I've been waiting for this topic! It's an interesting take on the supercar, focusing on speed and performance over functionality but keeping a detailed exterior. Great job on the shaping. When I saw it on the ice I thought it was a bit slow, but once it got on the "track" I was blown away.
  19. Great contest! Thanks for putting it on @Jim and @Milan. Congrats @MegaRoi, your entry was very original. Also thanks to the people that voted for me, I appreciate it.
  20. Great improvement, I like the cylinders at the new 90 degree angle way more.
  21. 8: 10 22: 6 10: 4 24: 3 3: 2 2: 1 There were a lot of cool entries, it was hard to vote since they all exceled in different areas of the criteria.

    Which set should I buy?

What are you doing for '97? I have the 8437 and it's a nice set, with steering + working steering wheel, rear suspension, and V4 engine. I got it new and sealed about 2 years ago for a pretty good price, but I don't know if you can still get it sealed cheap. I'd say it's a good representation of that year.
  23. Very nice, lots of cool functions. Looks solid, just the way a chassis should be! I'm excited for those sketches!
