I just saw DoD and... wow. What a mess. I mean, it there wasn't anything terrible, it was just terribly boring. Half the movie is just unexciting chase scenes, and the best they get is when Indy rides a horse though the subway. Indy is his good old self, but they sure squandered the premise of him fighting time-traveling Nazis. The movie just isn't fun, and if there's a film series that exemplifies fun it's Indiana Jones. So, yeah. Still a better ending than Rise of Skywalker. Personally I'd rank all the movies like this; Raiders Last Crusade Crystal Skull (I know, I know) Dial of Destiny Temple of Doom (It's been over a decade since I've seen seen it, I just don't remember ever liking anything in that movie. Not that I particularly liked anything in DoD, but since that one doesn't have Willi Scott, that definitely puts it above ToD)

I just saw that and came here to discuss it! That means it's not an Amazon exclusive! Hurray!!! I'm also holding out for 400€. Gonna put aside 200 this month and 200 next month. But even when finally I buy it I'm not gonna build it, because 1. I have no space for it right now, and 2. I'm still gonna hold out hope they're gonna release the Fellowship in smaller sets. Gonna sit on it ~3 years, and if it still hasn't happened by then, I'm gonna have to put up a new shelf.

Nah. Sadly not. They are discounted (but still overpriced) shelf-warmers. Which is a shame, because I really loved Way of Water and after seeing it I got a couple of the sets and they're pretty decent. Figures look better in person too. But unfortunately it's probably the last we'll see of LEGO Avatar. Here's hoping it somehow leads to them considering making new Avatar: The Last Airbender sets.

My understanding was that Rivendell would be one of those sets that remain exclusive, like the Lion Knights Castle?

Sooo, Rivendell is now available on Amazon, sold by Amazon (at least in my region)? Does that mean it's not an exclusive anymore? Will it be available through other retailers potentially offered at a discount? Boy, I hope so. Even at only 10% off I would actually consider buying it.

You could import all the parts into Bricklink Studio and maybe just build the sections you're thinking of replacing due to part-cost and find alternative building techniques there. That's how I'd do it without a finished model.

Some Romanian channel already uploaded a small review for the Markets on Friday. They also have a video with that ugly new Batcave. (fair warning; the audio is pretty loud)

You're totally right. I thought about it and factoring in how long it took me to build my biggest set so far (the 2020 Haunted House) it's gonna take me at least a week! And oh boy, am I anxious to build finally build them. I got City Gardens in summer '21 and Ninjago City last summer. I was just about to open them up when the first rumour of City Markets found its way online.

Holy f***! It's absolutely massive! Where the hell am I supposed to fit this thing?! Oh boy, am I looking forward to building Ninjago City, Ninjago City Gardens, and this one all in one burnout-building-marathon! (let's be real, it's gonna take me a couple of days)

There are plenty of sets being kept tightly under wraps until release. Granted not a lot, but since Nintendo is involved they might take extra care (ignoring the fact that we've already seen the set of course). If it's a summer release then we could start hearing about it from leakers as late as Juli.

Surprisingly an issue with many instructions from lego.com. Really unfortunate.

Sorry if this has already been talked about, but I looked at the Deku Tree set again, and you can clearly see the fern piece from Rivendell in both pictures! I may be mistaken, but I think it's even there in bright green! Idk if this means anything, I just really want them to release this that set. I reckon if they release it any time soon we'll hear about it around May? Man, I just really want it. EDIT: Yup, I just checked and it's already been talked about. I guess I'm getting a little stir crazy waiting for Tears of the Kingdom.
