  1. very impressive! if you''re having issues with strength, I recommend using studded beams, I've found them to be very strong, plus you can add plates to them for even more reinforcement! just if you want to go even larger...
  2. but if you noticed, he didn't even try to hide lucio's name on the crash tender, so I'm inclined to believe that stuff wouldn't help much...
  3. I reported his channel for scam/ fraud and included links to all the original vids. probably won't do much, but it's the least I can do to help. will try the form in a bit.
  4. will it have a compressor, or be manual? looks cool so far, I love all the small entries going on!
  5. will there be a vid? I'm very curious now to see it in action!
  6. I kind of agree, I feel this would warrant it's own topic, so more people will see it, but I can see why you wouldn't do that...
  7. maybe, I'll try when I get back, but my main idea was to keep it relatively fast, plus adding gearing to the portal hubs would require me to re-position them, and with the flexibility of the whole real axle, I didn't think it would work. But I'll try just for the heck of it when I get back!
  8. it'll be so nice to finally be able to work on something else for a change... btw this is really a show model so don't expect crazy performance. here's another one. thank zux for it
  9. interesting idea, looks absolutely awesome, and the size is quite impressive! have you considered using linear actuators in place of the steel pistons, to enter in TC10? also I am aware of what I just said be mature keep your mouth shut
  10. well maybe now that it's here, someone else might try it? who knows...
  11. the motors have no gearing, when I tried to add gearing, they kept skipping. I'm currently away from home, so I can't weigh it right now. I'll let you know when I get back. the rear axle does twist quite noticeably when starting to drive, but I haven't had any real issues with it so far. Thanks! at first I was kind of nervous it wouldn't look good, as I didn't really have any choices about colors due to my lack of pieces, but in the end I guess it worked out!
  12. well for me, it's a show model, as I don't often add bodywork to my models. maybe not to you, but for me I wasn't super satisfied with performance as I was with looks. thanks guys, I'll look into some of those sites!
  13. should I have posted the whole thing here? I kind of thought it made more sense to make it it's own topic, so I wouldn't have to rename this one. Sorry about that, if that's not how things usually work, I don't really do this often, so I'm not super sure how to go about it...
  14. My latest project, ANOTHER trophy truck, hopefully this genre isn't too oversaturated yet... either way, Hope you enjoy! btw this is mainly a show model, meaning I focused more on looks that function. not that it doesn't function, it just doesn't really compare well to some other creations in this genre of vehichle pictures should come soon, as soon as I have time to look into image hosting services, as I don't really use any currently... does anyone know if google photos or whatever it's called works?
  15. glad to be of service! good luck! also in response to kris, you may be right in a sense, but sometimes it's fun to try something unique, even if there are much more efficient ways to go about it. personally I actually agree with you, and I would look for a mechanical solution, but if everyone thought like that, we wouldn't have cool unique stuff like this! also, someone has to empty their wallet for our entertainment
  16. video's going up in a few minutes, Jim you know best what to do with this topic, so I'll let you decide to leave it or lock it or delete it or whatever you see fit.
  17. why not put axle holes on the buckets so you can connect them with something like this http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/djamil/GBC/bwe_gbc_3.png
  18. first of all, Sorry for being so stubborn with you guys. at this point, I'm just going to finish editing the video and release that, because I feel I can't really show much more without giving too much away. if this seemed out of place, that's probably because it kind of is. this was mainly intended for my youtube channel, to show what I'd been working on for the past month of no uploading. I just figured I'd post it here as it was the first large project I felt met my standards that I was comfortable with posting. I guess I kind of rushed it and forgot about the outside perspective of it. but thanks everyone for the, uuuh, I'll say constructive criticism, I'll make sure to take your advice in the future. sorry if I disappointed anyone...
  19. added another preview I won't call it a teaser but kind of whatever.
  20. you make a good arguement. I'll add more pics soon
  21. wow zux, salty much? jk, but it is done, I just haven't finished editing the vid yet. also I haven't uploaded a vid in like, weeks, so I wanted to make something to fill some time. plus it was a rather large project for me, and I figured this was fitting for a large project like this.
