"Let's Finish This the Way it Started.... Together"
Ultron replied to Infomaniac's topic in LEGO Licensed
This is so cool! -
Who cares if Harry Potter will surpass star wars or not? Wizards don't really need vehicles...they can apparate. And I personally would much rather have locations than vehicles any day. What's the point of having a vehicle if there aren't many places for it to take you? I think that's the problem with star wars. Sure there are space battles and such but I mean there's only so much you can do with a space ship... Anyway, I think it would be cool to see a hogsmeade set with zonkos, honeydukes, the hogs head, and the three broomsticks. Also, it would be great to have Luna's house, godrics hollow, and maybe a proper forbidden forest, with centaurs and unicorns.

Mines orange too!

Good review, but I don't understand how quidditch can be played with only one set of hoops though! And I like the Ravenclaw tower, I put Luna in it and pretend she's commentating on the match. (Like in the book version of Half Blood Prince, even though that match was against hufflepuff)

Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff Decals for Harry Potter MOCs

I really like the dark blue ravenclaw quidditch uniform its very nicely detailed -
Yes, he was a Gryffindor
-
If this set is the battle of Hogwarts, even though its not called that, why does Lupin have an office? He doesn't teach at Hogwarts anymore..
-
I don't really think Hermiones head fits Padme all that well. Overall nice set though
-
They spelled lucius and ollivander wrong..
-
Well, really, the ending of the book/movie will be the epilogue so I'm not sure how they could have changed that scene. Yes, they jump off of the bridge but that's not the end of the movie it's just a scene from the battle. And besides, Voldemort can fly so...we'll see how that will turn out.

haha it's fine

You're thinking of Malfoy Manor not the Riddle house. In Deathly Hallows, Voldemort used the Malfoy's house as headquarters. The Riddle house is where Voldemort killed his dad and grandparents. It is also where he killed Frank Bryce and when he was using it for a place to become strong again in Goblet of fire.

Also for a moaning myrtle, in lego hp years 1-4 her head appears to be the same as professor Trewlaney's and her hair is the same as the old snapes. That could work unless you were thinking of making her look gray or if you wanted a more custom built figure.

It's snatchers not scavengers This is a pretty good scene recreation I like the shirt you gave griphook, it looks kinda nice!

A little off topic but the market salesman's head kinda reminds me of Mundungus Fletcher. Anyways, I really like the pieces so I kind of want this set.

I'm trying to post my MOC's but it says my photos are too big and won't let me upload them. How do I fix this problem?

I kind of wonder if the reason they didn't include the ravenclaw common room in this set is because maybe they cut that scene from the movie? Like Harry will just ask Luna about a ravenclaw artifact and she'll say the diadem and then he'll go to the grey lady. I'll be really angry if they cut it though. But maybe that "classroom" is supposed to be it? I mean you never now how their common room might look. It has some sort of a blue bottle. I'm also curious about if they're going to include some basilisk fangs in that possible chamber and maybe a golden cup? Also in the forbidden forest, I'm assuming the lever on the tree is a function to blast harry as he's hit with avada kedavra. It's pretty lame though if that's what it does. It also would be kind of neat if it came with either a black stud or a clear black stud for the resurrection stone. But I'll just give him one.
-
O well I wasn't talking to you specifically I was just saying to everyone you know don't judge a lego by its preliminary! haha okay that was lame.
-
I'm not sure we can really judge these legos as "I'm not getting this" or "this is lame" yet because they're just preliminaries, even though not much will change, but some changes could definitely be a deciding factor. And we haven't seen the interior of the knight bus (at least I haven't) or how the sliding beds (if they do slide) will play out. Personally, I kind of like the knight bus because I want the chance to score another "death eater" and exclusive minifigure. I also kind of like purple and I remember how cool the old knight bus was. I don't think this one will be worse because I mean it can't be any worse than a set made in 2004, not with lego's plethora of new bricks and such.
