  1. Hello everybody! Putting the information on stonewars as well as on a new instagram post together, there will be again two new Chinese New Year sets in 2021: 80106: Story of "Nian" - 79,99 Euro 80107: New Year Lantern Festival - 119,99 Euro Since I liked the house, the dragon boat race, the temple fair and the lion dance very much, I'm really lookign forward to them and I hope that (official) pics of these two sets will show up soon! And what about you?

    LEGO Trains 2021

Since it's absolutely likely that City is getting two new trains in 2022, I sadly highly doubt that we're getting a whole CE train set the same year. The only thing I could see happening (and which I wish and would like very much) would - because of Lego's 90th birthday - be an elevated train with rollercoaster tracks. That's an interesting theory, @legotownlinz! I don't agree that a 18+ train has to bei 7-8 studs wide. Look back at the Horizon Express and the Maersk Container Train - these were excellent sets with only six studs wide. But I completely agree with you which concerns Lego might release a standalone train engine as display model every e. g. two years. Since the Crocodile was an electric engine, I'd expect the next one to be a steam locomotive - maybe already in 2022.
  3. Thanks for the news! 🙂 The Hoth AT-ST sounds promising. And the Hoth BP could be a nice set, too, but only if hopefully one of the three Snowtroopers was an officer.

Lego City 2022 Rumours, Leaks, Information And Discussion

Thanks for the news! 🙂 If these test animals actually made it into sets: - I'd expect the squirrel to appear in the City Park. Additionally it could be included in the CE Hotel and in other City sets with some green space. - Could it be that the dog wears a jacket? I could see it in some City sets or in the next CMF.

    Seasonal 2021

Hello everybody! Since I couldn't find any other topic about this theme, let's discuss this year's seasonal sets here. Here is what is known so far - apart from the Chinese New Year sets: 40462 Valentine’s Brown Bear - 14,99 Euros - already available via S@H 40417 Year of the Ox - GWP (with 85 Euros) ? - mid January? 40450 Amelia Earhart Tribute - GWP (with 150 Euros) ? - late February til early March? 40463 Iconic Easter Bunny - 14,99 Euros - March? 30579 Easter Chick - GWP (with 55 Euros) ? - mid March? What are your thoughts?
  6. Hello everybody! According to Insta we'll get following Friends sets for the first half of 2022: 41695 4+ Vet Clinic 41697 Turtle Protection 41700 New Camping 41701 Street Food 41702 Houseboat 41703 Friendship Treehouse 41704 Apartment Building 41706 Mission Vehicle 2022 Power The Street Food set could be nice if the house would - in contrast to the 2021 Orangic Food Shop and Cinema - have sidewalls and a second floor; but honestly I doubt that. The Apartment Building sound interesting. I hope it actually will be a building with different apartments, with long enough sidewalls and no fantasy stuff like slides or so - the 2021 Hotel showed how great Friends buildings can be if they're designed this way. What do you think?

    Ideas for new City sets

Hi, I like the new harbor set and the container lifter very much. Also the hospital and the doctor's car from last year are excellent sets. It would be very nice if TLC would go on with those nice products, so I thought we here on Eurobricks could collect some ideas for new City sets. So Lego would know what real Lego City fans would like as sets in the future. Some of my wishes: First of all: Harbor sets: luxury yacht a luxury yacht with a bridge upstairs and a living and bed room downstairs including a little pier, suitcases, dinnerware and food minifigs: man with his woman and their son and daughter Fishing Cutter a fishing cutter with a bridge upstairs and a engine and storage room downstairs including some barrels, some boxes, fishes, crabs and a big flue on a crane minifigs: captain, worker and boatsman Octan Oil Harbor an Octan oil tanker (=ship!) with landing stage and little oil refinery including tools and some barrels minifigs: captain, first officer, boatsman and two Octan workers Octan Oil Rig (Perhaps as S@H Exclusive!) an oil rig (with office and rest room) with a heliport including a helicopter, diving bell, tools and two lifeboats on cranes minifigs: pilot, 3 Octan workers and the Octan workers' boss Cruiser (Perhaps as S@H Exclusive!) a little cruiser with a little swimming pool in the back, a restaurant and a bridge upstairs and two coaches with toilets downstairs including lifeboats on cranes, dinnerware, food and suitcases minifigs: captain, first officer, steward, stewardess and three passengers And what are your ideas? (also other city themes, not only harbor)

    2022 snowtrooper battle pack mock-up

Great job, @Mandalorianknight! That's exactly like I'd imagine the set to look like, too.

    Ideas for a CMFs

With series W you did again a great job, @Robert8! The three minifigs I like the most of this series are the Carnival Man, the Painter and the Olympic God.
  10. Thank you very much for the information, @Robert8! It's great that we'll get in January again a regular and unlicensed series! Btw the regular and unlicensed series are the only kind of CMF series I'm interested in since I can use the there included minifigs for City and Castle. I think that it'll take much longer time til they use them in regular CMFs or other sets - for sure not one year after their release in these licensed sets. I agree. Marvel CMFs came after the Vidiyo CMFs and did have bags again. The only thing which could be is that Lego will use strong paper bags instead of plastic. Oh, a frog costume - that would be awesome! Yes, for sure TLG won't go back; they'll stay with 12 minifigs per series.

Lego City 2022 Rumours, Leaks, Information And Discussion

With Lego exaggerating prices of the 2021 Stuntz sets massively, I'm curious to see not only the 2022 sets but even how expensive they'll be, esp. what concerns the new My City sets: On the one hand I guess and hope that the school building will be similar in size to the 2021 Friends one. In this case I don't see the price of fifty Euros (for the 2021 Family House), but expect ten til thirty Euros more. On the other hand it's obvious that the hospital won't include a rescue copter (since it comes seperately in 60343 Rescue Helicopter Transporter) plus I could imagine the hospital to be smaller than the 2018 one. So I could see it being only sixty to eighty Euros. So might it be possible that school and hospital will be nearly the same price? That's unlikely, isn't it? Plus one non-financial question: Do you think, too, that one of the sets or even both will include the bicycle in that new light green color? Btw: It's good that we have again seperated topics regarding the different years of release! It would be great if everyone sticked to them.

Lego City 2021 Rumours, information and discussion

To your question, @Poodabricks: Stuntz will fail. Not because I dislike the theme. But because of three reasons: 1. The four big sets look all nearly the same and include too much of the same stuff. That makes it not interesting enough to buy all of them. It would have been wiser to release only three sets: a) a small (30 Euros) "basic" set (for these who can't or don't want to spend that much money) with a motorcycle and a monstertruck and some stunts stuff, b) the stunts show truck with two motorcycles (and for 40 til max. 50 Euros!) and c) a stunts show arena with only monster trucks, the two damaged cars, stunts stuff plus a big grandstand (minimum as big as 3403) plus an elaborated snack stand and a TV camera - so this flagship set could be interesting not only for JFOLS, but also for TFOLs and AFOLS. 2. Plus the four big sets are highly overpriced for what you get! 2. Yes, it's a nice idea to collect motorcycles. And they are well designed. But for the most kids (and their parents) it's really too hard to have to pay six times eight Euros to get all collectible motorcycles. So one or two bikes might be bought by many, but not all bikes.

Winter Village Sets - Rumours and Discussion

Thank you very much for the information, @wooster! On the one hand I'm happy that we're getting a non-fantasy building this year. On the other hand I'm disappointed that there isn't a new building (town hall, candy shop, general store, chocolate factory, inn, ...) for inside the WV. Plus for my taste it's annoying and boring that Lego throws in again a sleigh and (a) fantasy creature(s) like Santa. I think so. It sounds like a re-release or at least re-desing of the WV Cottage - but instead of the snow plow (and maybe even the two side builds) Lego throws in Santa with the sleigh.

That sounds really interesting, too - and yes, it would expand the Cantina very well!

Wishlist: Future Star Wars Sets and Minifigures

With that pay TV series "Obi-Wan Kenobi" starting in 2022, I hope that we'll get a Master Builder Series Lars' Homestead next year. It should include all import rooms (entrance, dining room, kitchen, workshop and garage), a vehicle, a moulded Bantha and two moisture vaporatores. Minifigs then could (like in that MF some years ago) be from Episode 4 as well as from the Kenobi movie. If we didn't get this set as a Master Builder Series, then I hope for either a Jedi Temple, a Courouscant playset or a Tantive 4 Rebel Base. Plus as a regular set I'd so much like to get a TIE Bomber and a TIE Interceptor.

    Friends 2021 - Rumours & Discussion

Hello everybody! ? A list for the Winter 2021 Friends sets appeared on the usual place: 41444 Organic Cafe (30 dollars), 41447 Park (40 dollars), 41448 Cinema (50 dollars), 41449 Andrea's House (70 dollars) and 41450 Shopping Mall (100 dollars) could be interesting if the buildings were (minimum) two floors tall, had decent sidewalls and if the colors weren't too extremely girlish, don't you think?

    LEGO Trains 2021

I guess the reason is that production capacity is limited and customers' money is limited, too. If TLG produced more unlicensed themes and sets, many people would buy less licensed products. But TLG still thinks that only licenses are the best - so they keep on releasing nearly only licensed themes and sets. But I really don't understand their decisions: The Crocodile sold out quickly and the Fairground sets are always very popular, too, - so why not releasing another Fairground and another Trains set this year and therefore cancel two licensed products which have a much smaller group of customers interested in?!

Lego City 2021 Rumours, information and discussion

For sure TLG will use the sheep mold from that Disney 4+ set for other sets, too. And since we got the tractor this year and will be getting a horse transport next year, I could very well imagine a small farm with similar size and contents like https://brickset.com/sets/7637-1/Farm - in this case with sheep and / or pigs instead of cows. But since the set number appears apart from brickmerge nowhere else, I could even imagine that the set was cancelled or put backwards to 2022.

Lego City 2022 Rumours, Leaks, Information And Discussion

Thank you very much for the sets list, @Poodabricks@Powered by Bricks@LCP@toopizza13! The most excited I'm for following sets: - 60330 Hospital: I could well imagine it being very similar to https://brickset.com/sets/41318-1/Heartlake-Hospital, but without helicopter since there is one seperately in 60343 - a dream would be if it finally included a paramedic motorcycle, but that's supposably unrealistic - 60329 School: I'm really surprised that TLG will offer us a school, but I really welcome it - nevertheless I wouldn'd put my hopes too high since for sure it won't be bigger than https://brickset.com/sets/41005-1/Heartlake-High, I fear that either there won't be a (school) bus included or the school building would be only very small or thin - 60328 Beach Lifeguard Post: I guess it will be similar either to https://brickset.com/sets/1815-1/Paradisa-Lifeguard or more likely to https://brickset.com/sets/6334-1/Wave-Jump-Racers - 60327 Horse Transport: I bet it will be very similar to https://brickset.com/sets/7635-1/4WD-with-Horse-Trailer - 60324 Mobile Crane: I hope it won't be yellow but have a different color - the best would be a fire fighter's mobile crane, but that's supposably only wishful thinking - supposably this will be the biggest Great Vehicles set of the year (30 Euros) and look similar to the mobile crane in https://brickset.com/sets/60026-1/Town-Square - 60343 Rescue Helicopter Transporter: I'm surprised that we get that kind of set, but it makes absolutely sense in addition to the hospital, but I bet that the helicopter itself unluckily will only be a simple small helicopter for one person and not a decent sized one - so the set should look very similar to https://brickset.com/sets/60183-1/Heavy-Cargo-Transport For summer I expect a small wave of Arcitc / Antarctica Exploration sets and for fall three Trains sets (passenger train, cargo train and train station) - but possibly it's also Trains in summer and Arcitc / Antarctica Exploration in fall.

    Future Castle Sets?

In the last weeks I built together all three models of the Medieval Castle - so you get an impressive and extremly well looking layout! Now I hope that next year TLG will offers us in the 18+ range some sort of re-design of the Medieval Market Village to fill in the place inside the castle.

Winter Village Sets - Rumours and Discussion

Interesting and funny, @Flippi01, since I'm really tired of this fantasy stuff and am really hoping for TLG this year to return to the classic and realistic Winter Village. Plus I'm hoping that TLG won't cancel this year's WV set - like they did with the Fairground set and the Trains set.

    Lego 10290 Pickup Truck

Thank you very much for the pics, @Coolusername! I normally do not buy any of these big vehicles since they aren't of any use for my Lego city. But this model is that sort of lovely built with so many nice details and without any license that I plan to buy it nevertheless.
  23. Thank you all very much for the news! Apart from the Tatooine Homestead (which is in principle no set, but a GWP) there is sadly no single SW set this year of interest for me. Plus it's really a pity that TLG sells three UCS sets but no single Master Builder Series set.

    LEGO Trains 2021

My hopes are gone - it seems as if we won't get any CE Trains set this year - that's really bad! I really do not understand why TLG sells tons of licensed exclusive sets - but there are nearly no unlicensed exclusive sets this year (only Police Station, Pickup and hopefulls a nice Winter Village set).

Fairground Sets - Rumours and Discussion

It seems as if we won't get any CE Fairground set this year - that's really bad! I really do not understand why TLG sells tons of licensed exclusive sets - but there are nearly no unlicensed exclusive sets this year.
