Wow, this thing is quite a monster! In the best sense of the word Very suiting for any orc-related purposes. Very nice. I love the vivid structuring on ground and walls. That really brings it to life

Very good and hilariously funny scene! The dragon looks like serious trouble and the wall is just superb

Modding Tie Advanced Prototype (75082) into Vader's TIE (75150)?
Littleworlds replied to appiah4's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I'm also planning to update the prototype into a proper TIE Advanced, since the new set, which just got released isn't really convincing me. The fighter is way too small there. I don't want a compact-car version of it The actual modding shouldn't be difficult really. There are lots of blueprints, photos and models of it available -
I guess there is a big part of Lego-nostalgia playing part in my stance that I don't want to use any non-Lego parts in my creations. This and the fact that I am more the type who sees it as challenge to try to find solutions with the pieces I have, instead of looking to obtain just the ideal one for a certain purpose. I am usually not keen on the idea of a closed brand-system, but little building bricks are the big exception for me

You caught its appearance perfectly - and in this scale: Amazing work! I also like the short overview text. Very well written!

Hello there! I don't own the set, but in my opinion it is nothing spectacular piece-wise with its 1200 rather common white/trabs bricks. Nothing you wouldn't get on bricklink for a fraction of the price. The sorting tray and the guide book might be the only really interesting parts of the set really. I think getting a "normal" book on architecture, plus looking at Lego MOCs for interesting techniques will probably be just as useful.

[MOC] Now witness the power of this fully equipped and operational...
Littleworlds posted a topic in LEGO Star Wars
Hamburger Grill. Not many people know that the emperor’s secret passion was actually barbecuing. Many many times he wondered if he should quit it all and start his own hamburger stand instead. In this universe he did! He got a lot of faithful customers and the galaxy became a better, more peaceful place. Well, until a certain Luke Skywalker opened a salad bar. But that’s another story. Everyone likes his hamburgers… that’s an order: Looks like that damn sparker is broken again!- 19 replies

[MOC] Now witness the power of this fully equipped and operational...
Littleworlds replied to Littleworlds's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Thank you all for the replies. They made me laugh a lot too In my excitement when posting I made a silly typo. Of course it should mean "fully equipped", not "filly". At least I didn't wrote filthy, I guess- 19 replies

That looks like massive fun! Amazing model. Its a sheer joy to let your eyes wander over the crazy detailing. I love it!

Excellent build and a very tasteful arrangement - just lovely! Although I'm quite jealous on the large castle doors you used. I really need to dig these up somewhere!

Purchase plan? Seriously? No purchase plan survives its first contact with a toystore here

That park looks lovely! And its nicely framed with beautiful buildings too. Very good job!

I got the Death Star Final Duel as well, since it was reduced. Nice and quite heavy little set and very stylish. I will write an extensive review on it in the next days

Lego themes that we would like to happen
Littleworlds replied to YellowCorvette's topic in General LEGO Discussion
A Steampunk theme would be amazing. I would also like a revival of the monster fighters who came and went sadly shortly before I got back into Lego. So yeah, why not combine both. The league of the extraordinary Minifigs or something like that- 451 replies

In memory of the legendary achievements of the first Lego astronauts, Admiral Takayama from the Futuron-Starfleet has revealed a memorial plaque in the new space-flight museum. The plaque itself which was part of one of the first moon-bases and is - apart from some minor asteroid-impacts (actually Gerbil chewing marks!) in perfect condition for its age! The exhibit is called “A view back and a view forward” and features original artefacts, like the automatic short range sensor probe SRT-570 and a model of the legendary Type 928 Space Cruiser (which I took from the book Great Lego Sets: A visual History). The Admiral also took the occasion to also introduce the crew of the newly commissioned fast space-cruiser Andromeda, led by the legendary Captain McLane, who will soon depart for a deep space exploration mission. In her speech Admiral Takayama emphasised that it was always the spirit of the Futuron Federation to “explore new worlds and go boldly where no-one has been before”. More about the adventures of the Andromeda in the near future!

Really fantastic. The more you look at it the more it sucks you in with its incredible details... hard to name them all. From the very convincing looking snow, to the slightly curved roof, to the lovely floor-work inside, and the interior in general. Wonderful!- 31 replies

[MOC] Corporal Nobbs and Sergeant Colon
Littleworlds replied to Pate-keetongu's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Oh great brick - these look awesome! The faces and their stances are so expressive! Just fantastic! I am not familiar with Discworld, but we have most (if not all) of Pratchett's books kicking around at the Littleworlds HQ, so I will eventually direct my attention to them -
Thank you all for the positive comments! Now that you say it, Space Police XVIII: it was indeed a huge (Gerbil-sized even!) space monster, that attacked it. Of course, how else could it been? But we need to have a word on space fashion here. Just so much: Its not a tattoo and not a sash, just a very snug fitting space suit
