  1. Wow i really love this crane....and the truck!!! I can't wait to see the two parts together!!! it will be something like this?
  2. The hook was just a lot of beams, to tighten the rope, nothing special. I've build a counterweight, with studed bricks, but I have no picture with the whole crane assembled. From body and base i've got 12 more 15 stud blue beams, replaced with dbg ones. Waiting for a second (cheapest) set to improve my mod. I would like to make it as real as possible , with two more motorized functions in the same gearbox, for raising the extra parts. I love also the liebherr powerboom. But i don't know when i can do it. thx & sorry my english.
  3. Hi, i love 4x4 & trophy truck races, like baja 1000, etc...and and this type of suspension is fairly common in these races, but this trucks are only rear wheel drivw. but I had never seen the 4x4 configuration . really I think the biggest advantage is the mixture of long travel and fairly reliability / resistance. anyway you have achieved a good reproduction of something very rare
  4. Hi all, I am a new user, I have about a year reading all the forum post! I'm from Spain and not fluent in English, i use the google translator I just got out of my dark age, last summer, impressed with the new sets from my last, the incredible 8455. Well, I'm passionate about cranes and bought this fantastic set 42042, which with all the bricks found 15 could grow a little: I have build the Unimog again, so I dismounted the jib, I'm waiting for a good deal for a second 42042 set, to build a good model, with counterweight, etc.... the crane could stand up by itself, reducing gears without a little problem, but very slowly. I recorded a video but is very slow. then, see you around here when I have more news. Un Saludo a los compaƱeros EspaƱoles.
