  1. Love this. You've captured the Elves aesthetic really well - so much so that it could pass for an official set. We have an Elves moc on the go and might have to steal... um I mean 'borrow'... that fairy mushroom ring idea!

Oh, "steal" whatever you like  I'm for such kind of "stealing" And I'm exited to see your creation, please tell me when you'll post it!

  2. Hello! I'm very glad to find such friendly, warm and living community here! Thanks for all of you for interesting discussions here and accurate attitude for such cool hobby. I'm happy to have a chance of sharing my modest creations here.

My favourite theme is Elves (just because they are fairytale like and beautiful), also I'm interested in fatnasy, historical and vintage lego sets.

Also my english is far from good, and I would be thankful if you will note my language mistakes.

    My MOC's:

  3. Hello! I've got some new sets and it allowed me to improve one of my mocs.

This cottage is hidden deep in the Fire Woods - there's magical trees that takes no harm from dragon's fire and lava, so dragons and other creatures of fire elemnt may live here.

Cottage have not so much space inside, so I stuffed it as much as I can. On first floor there's something like workplace with shelf full of magical ingredients (it's so funny to build such tiny and simple things - such as "hmm, what is it may be? Okay, magic root or dragon's tooth!" :sweet: ) , dinner table on the second and small attic for any old stuff. The most trouble I had with roof, it's quite easy to break it but in first I tried to make it look not too bad. After all I completely forgot to add leaves everywhere as elves style needs, so I decided to build different types of trees and make garden of them. I heve idea to make tan-wood tree, it would be an legendary White tree, but I already used my tan half-arcs in another moc, so may be next time.

    Hope you'll like it! :)

  4. My husband bought me Dragon Sanctuary set today as surprise and I've just builded it!

Really good set, I did't thought that it's so fun. In real it makes way better impression than on photos. Tower is compact and intresting to build at the same time, it's full of small but enough playable stuff and areas. There's viry cool tiny astrolabe. I pleced fire egg on it's place and damn, I need the rest of the eggs! Sure, designers know secret of a charm spell.

Dragon is epic, he's little bigger than fire dragon and those four wings are majestic! His lower part is the same light-blue color as green dragon have, nice combination with lavender.

Also, I'm newbie to MOC building, but I think there's good amount of detais for creation, and espesially for small decorations. I have idea to buid bigger dragontower one day.

I don't like any licensed themes(exept Lord of the Rings) ,for my taste own Lego's themes have much more creativity and originality, and elves are perfect for me :cry_happy:

  5. Wow, He-Man!! My favorite cartoon in childhood :))) Really cool to see it made of Lego. But for my taste castle needs little more epicness - not to be bigger, but more fantasy-looking details and decorations, walls looks monotonous.

  6. Sounds very interesting! Elves theme is full of fresh ideas, I think there's nothing to worry about. It may be nice replacement for boring stereotypes. I truly believe in awesomeness of designers team :)

Also what if leprechauns will be not minidolls but little figures like squirrel or baby dragons? And they will crowd little cities where elves are giants,ha-ha? :)

To mention, when my little 7year old sister came and played with my Lego elves she preferred to play with little animals, not with minidolls and dragons, it surprised me a lot.

  7. Wow, this summer came so fast :) I want to buy big set in autumn to my birthday, can't decide what castle is better - Skyra's or Ragana's. I like that Skyra's color scheme fit better to other sets I have, I think it's good for building mocs, but Ragana's is soo cool and dark...and also have great details :)

  8. Ocean would be great theme! It's like aquanauts that was my favorite theme in childhood, but in fantasy setting, it's double hit! And also some merfolk characters.

So, the same way there might be parallels with other popular Lego themes - what about star elves? :) Crystal castles on the moon and space unicorns?, ? :D

  9. I don't know what may be better than dragons(I'm fan of dragons!) , but I sure that Lego designers will make something awesome next year! Giants are big creatures as dragons, idea a little similar, may be there will appear some little folks like hobbits or gnomes, or faires?

  10. Hurrah! New elves MOC! Really nice details here, I like furniture on second floor, and windows there reminds Starlight Inn, so cozy. I just think it would be great to add more fire details somewhere. And I like this style of roof - it's good for someone like me who don't want spend much bricks for it :)
