Marvel Superheroes 2021 - Rumors & Discussion
MasterofElements replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
If you add the Iron Spider or regular MCU Spiderman arms to the Captain Marvel figure, plus maybe either the Wildlife photogrpaher, Iron Spider legs, or regular MCU Spiderman legs on her, then she should look fantastic. -

You can definitely combine them, whether that's side by side or stacked is up to you. You could also use the combined pieces to make your own compound, but that's more moc-heavy. I'm considering buying the og compound just to expand the set and have a bigger final battle display. -

This wave honestly gets better with each image I see. Sure, the compound build isn't the greatest but this wave overall has to be one of the best in terms of set accuracy, function, and overall diversity in builds. Very much worth the wait in my eyes. Edit: Just got pictures that the panther flyer can transform - even better! -

Where do you all see Quill? In the cockpit? I thought that was Rocket and Mantis. -

Overall I love the wave and I actually really like the compound. I wish that the little turret build was instead a portal, though. That would have made it a bit more exciting and less "police station." -

I really like how the rubble on the right side of the compound includes some rocks and rock-work designs to show off the battle itself. It's not something I could see earlier but now it is clear. -

Oh, my bad. It wasn't meant to be a joke I just couldn't tell any major dimension differences from that blurry image -

If you already have the old compound and buy the new one, you can get some sort of layout like this one: https://imgur.com/a/6Fzo4sJ -

I did a quick drawing of the Final Battle set just so I could see it more clearly for myself, so I'll share it here too. It's a drawing of the set so I don't believe it violates any guidelines but feel free to remove this post or I will edit it if it does in any way: https://imgur.com/a/MWRzaMU Love the set -
https://www.flickr.com/photos/192785398@N07 I believe this link works for @MAVERICK26. It was embedded in the original link he sent - correct me if I am mistaken. Simply copy and paste the link into your browser. As for the brick stacking method, that's out of my area of expertise - I'm a stud-friendly man! Wish you the best.

Surely Lego is going to use a single piece (or at most about 3 pieces) to make Falcon's wings in the CMF, right? I feel like 10+ pieces like in IW would be 1) too many for a CMF and 2) push what can even fit in the bag. Secondly, would the single piece that was used for the original Falcon figure fit in the CMF bags? If so, it would be easily to feel-out for Cap. Final thought - could Lego skip out on the wings completely? I'd think not but Lego has done crazier things.. -

Here's a little quick edit I made of the sets all together. This is a layout that is more reminiscent of what the castle looks like in the movies. I wanted the staircase tower to be taller so I used the module found in the fuffy set. Then I put the bathroom under the fluffy corridor, which is next to the flying set. The flying set is combined with the second module from the fluffy set, then placing the other flying module on top with the spire from the fluffy set on top of that. The main thing I dislike about this set up is just that theres no more rocks under the bathroom, so you'd need to buy some more sets or add your own bricks to make the transition more seamless. I also would like two towers on the right side, so my suggestion would be to buy two of the Fluffy set - this way you get a second spire, a second rock face that you can combine with the original one to put under the bathroom, and then you can replace the current rock module in the photo above with leftover modules from the Fluffy set. -

I feel like they should've used 3 of the paintbrush pieces for the Three Broomsticks sign. I think it could've worked better than the print and is actually feasible, as opposed to using 3 regular sized broomstick pieces. -

I believe it's very clearly a fake. Printing on torsos and legs never go fully to the edge of the piece - there's always a sort of margin where printing is never put. The middle piece connecting the legs is also printed so detailed that it makes me feel it's fake. -

That's a smart guess - I'm sure we'll find out soon enough either way. Seems like they can control the water level in their temples, sort of like an air-lock. -

Not that they accomplish the goal of adding more red to the arms, but I think that Tony's arms from the Infinity War figure pack (dark bluish grey arms with silvery printing) and also the Mandalorian's new minifigure with arm printing (dark reddish brown base with arm prints) from this year could work well to highlight the new Rocket figure. I did some mock-ups but I don't believe i'm allowed to share them here bc of leak policy. I think Mando's arms work well though and definitely make the suit feel more detailed. -

Side note, but hopefully the box art for these sets is nicer than past years. Always felt jumbled and ugly to me. -

Could it be that this is a scene representing Tony's final snap against Thanos? Multiple toy companies have produced versions of this iconic scene and It could include a battle damaged Tony. Tony, a big fig Thanos, and some rubble builds could easily account for $30, with the big fig making up most of that. -

Hi all! Over the last week or two I've been working on a project that continues the spirit of Adventurers and Orient Express in a modern form. I present.. The Lost Temple! It's supposed to be a temple that's been lost to time and has been overtaken by trees and plant-life. A giant tree has grown in the middle of the main temple and split the building, which was fun to design. The river on the left is built using depth techniques found in the Ninjago City range. The waterfall, bridge, and elephant were some of my favorite to design. Using the Unikitty tail pieces for the roofing was also a fun idea! This is a shot of the back of the set. It features a bottom level with a kind of tomb for a past chief, another level with a dining room, ancient art in the back, and armor, and then a final top level with a throne and decorations. The set is also on Lego Ideas - feel free to support if you'd like. https://ideas.lego.com/s/p:8146d09a8183474b830aff9a26b54804 Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated!
