Elen síla lúmenn' omentielvo! I want to present you the MOC that I showed at Expo LUG Brasil 2013, the Elven Kingdom of Hybrasil. I tried to make as much details as possible, but unfortunatelly here in Brazil we have a serious problem with LEGO prices, where the smallest sets are sold for almost US$40 (converting from our coin to USD). Anyway I´m very glad with the result and I thought that I had already posted it here before. I hope you all enjoy it! C&C are always welcome! Thanks h22chen and Ritsz! Ludzik, the shields are custom made by me and like I said a few replies back, the Blue design was made by ED-209 and the Silvermoon Elves (Red) designs were made by me.

Thank you all for the nice comments. I were going to use some custom pieces from Brickwarriors on the balcony statue (a white bow and a white horn) but they got stuck on the customs and I had to pay US$20 in taxes for U$10 of small plastic pieces... Anyway I had to improvise and I liked the brick version. Rogueang and de Gothia, I´m not building in GoH but my heart will be always Avalonian! I had to stop on GoH so I could help Brazilian folks to start building better Castle MOCs. I think it worth. :D monsinjor I wanted to make a big tree to be some kind of sacred tree. I had not enough pieces left to build a big tree so I planted a small one atop the temple. Thanks Hive! I learned how to make custom shields here in Eurobricks. The blue elves I made using ED-209 decals, the Silvermoon Elves (red) I used a custom decal I made based on ED-209 work. All the green elves are from CMF. This minifig is pure awesomeness. So much courage to do that to the werewolf head. The horse and the banner are great also. But I think he could use a more custom sword instead of the classic chromed sword. Great work, congratulations. -

Thank you all for the comments! I really like Vladek, Lego did a good job on his story, but making so many colors on the good guys made the KK2 end as a bad theme. I wanted to join GoH in the begining and I made some elves to Avalonia. Then I got a new job. I never gave up joining GoH, because my elven city still growing. I always enjoyed Nocturnus, but I didnt have enough bricks to be part of it. Nice to see that my castle would be welcome there.

Based on decals made by ED-209 (Original topic: http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=50061) I´ve made these decals so I could use a few old red torsos on my Elven Army. ED-209 thank you for the original decals, you´re the best!

I have a few elven ladies, you can see some of them on my flickr pics like the one below. Thanks! Actually I made them to SAVE some money using old city minifigs like pilots and gas station attendant as new soldiers in my elven army.

I don´t have much to add now after the complete guide that Aanchir posted but I use some Exoforce heads for heroes or just more important people. When a minifig is using the elf hair (with pointed ears) I use any minifig head that has the proper expression for the situation because the pointed ears are screaming I´M ELF. So I spare some CMF3 Elf Heads to use with open helmets or hood because they don´t have point ears to say "I´m elf".

No pics from the dark elves yet, but they needed much more love before they go to Flickr. But I´ll take some pics from them and post them later. These Warhammer figs are awesome. I have tons of pics of these figs that I use as inspiration. And I already have an Elven War Lion... And those Chima Action Figures are going to give me much more mounts for my elven clans... I think an elven wolf faction would use gray instead of plain white... I´ll try both and see what happens.

Thanks Wardancer! Nice to have another Elven Lord commenting here. I do have a Dark Elf Faction, but they dont have any custom decals on them thats why I haven´t posted them... yet. I like the white/silver idea, I´ll try it in LDD/POV and see if it works... Perhaps painting the minifig torso and shield in silver and printing the decals on transparent sheets may work... I like the swan with stars idea. I saw an elven shield using swan with stars made by someone I cant recall now and it is great. But I was trying to avoid another bird like faction, the blues are eagle/falcon, the reds a phoenix. A wolf would be nice but there is too many wolf factions already, bears are not exactly elvish... By the way, thanks for the comments, they helped a lot on looking for a new faction. I´ll post more as soon as I make them.

Ervinsim, there is a topic here on Eurobricks on how to print decals using MSWord and it shows the size you should use on them -> http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=25534 Just a few tips from someone that took some time to figure out how to make the decals: - You cant actually print metallic colors like silver and gold. The best you can do is printing on transparent sheets and use them on silver/gold painted pieces. - Cold colors looks better on printed decals than warm colors. (I´m using an inkjet...) - Black wont look good because you´ll lose all the details in the decals, unless you make all details in another color but I don´t think it´ll work well. And if you mean my War Lion, I used the 2143-1 Rocka 3.0 parts to make it. I posted it here on Eurobricks also -> http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=62460 Thanks AshTree! Thanks King Aragorn! And I still looking for one or two more factions, I just haven´t found a new good color/logo combo for them. Any suggestions?

Great builds going on here. I still trying to figure out how to build an Elven city but I had not much sucess. The only Elven structure that I have and I love is a slightly modification of the 7573 Battle of Alamut.

I know that I´ll replace my Rocka 3.0 parts with Laval parts in my Elven War Lion... I´m looking foward the others to see what wonderful creatures I´ll make using their parts...

I have them in my collection too, but I named them Trolls because we already got some official Orcs (that Lego called trolls...). I´m just waiting to add the LOTR Orcs and goblins to my Horde... Instead of armor I added those PoP spiked shoulders on them. -

Daeron Arphenion, High King of Hybrasil I weren't building for the challenges because Hybrasil is suposed to be hidden within the Enchanted Forest. Because of that I didn´t see why should I build a defense tower or an embassy for a hidden city. -
I use a modified version of 7573 Battle of Alamut as my elven home... I wish I had a few more of it to build a massive city for them.
