    MOC: Great West City

Here comes a bit from life in "Great West City", a city with lots of opportunities, but things can quickly go wrong if you hang out with the wrong types. The Train station is the lifeblood of the city, but if you are going on a long journey, you can also take the stagecoach out of the city, there are plenty of activities here, poker games, shooting duels, or a trip on horseback, you can also visit the local Barber, you can stay at the city Hotel for an overnight, along with a bath, and the Saloon offers a drink. The ”long arm of the law” keeps the city's criminals on a tight leash, with a little help from the Cowboy who is "faster than his own shadow". Should you come across money, you can safely place it in the city's bank, where it will be closely watched. Some believe the town's cemetery is haunted, and others have seen a UFO stealing the farmer's sheep, but don't believe those stories. If there is an accident, the town's Church and Undertaker are, of course, always open for "business" After my Pirate build “Bay of Lost Treasures” (which was finished in 2021) I have been working on this Western layout, there have been long building breaks along the way, but it was finally ready. 3. After a long time, I have finally tried my hand at train building, according to my own design. DSB Litra EB (Siemens Vectron) I want to stick to 6 width models to fit official sets Length: 40 studs Width: 6 studs Powered by 9V motor The first three Vectron locomotives arrived in Denmark on 14/9 2020 Siemens must supply a minimum of 42 new electric locomotives to DSB EB (4) by SpinX125, on Flickr EB (3) by SpinX125, on Flickr EB (2) by SpinX125, on Flickr EB (1) by SpinX125, on Flickr For reference: 3202 by SpinX125, on Flickr

    [MOC] Bay of Lost Treasures

Bay of Lost Tresures I want to share some pictures, of the layout I have been working on for the past year. Since 21322 "Pirates of Barracuda Bay" came out last year, I was aware that I would try a pirate layout, this super cool set really set the memories back to the first pirate sets that came back in '89 / '90. My brother and I had many good times with the pirates from that time, we unfortunately did not have many of the big sets. My brother had one of the ships (I mean it was 6274 Caribbean Clipper) and I had some of the small sets including 6251 Pirate Mini Figures and 6257 Castaway's Raft. (still have these 2 sets and they are well used) Bay of Lost Tresures is an island in the pirate land, many miles from Barracuda Bay. The crew from Black Seas Barracuda has come ashore on the island and has found themselves comfortable here, they live side by side with the Imperial soldiers who guard the island, maybe it is very good that the soldiers do not know Captain Redbeard and his crew's past. Most of the crew stays around the inn, as long as they have something in the bottles, they do not cause trouble. Tattooga spends most of his time in the company of his fishing rod. Dance around the Christmas tree

"Dance around the Christmas tree" I have with this MOC, tried to create the atmosphere from Christmas Eve, the whole minifigure family is looking forward and waiting for the big night. The living room is decorated, the table is set, the Advent wreath is lit, the gifts are under the tree, and finally it's time to gather around the Christmas tree, both children and adults are looking forward, maybe there are "LEGO" gifts under the tree… danse om juletræet (2) by SpinX125, on Flickr danse om juletræet (1) by SpinX125, on Flickr

  11. I have for a long time, wanted to share some pictures from my LEGO city/train layout, but as you all know, a LEGO city is never completely finished, so now I choose to share anyway. The project started in 2015 where I found interest for LEGO again as an AFOL, and started collecting trains, primarily 9V. Over time I have been able to make this layout. There are still things missing in the city, empty building space next to the gas station, and the Modular houses must also be changed to custom buildings at some point. I am also still missing to finish the harbor area, but it will probably come later I don't know if the windturbine should stand there, but for now it does. 1 by SpinX125, on Flickr 2 by SpinX125, on Flickr 3 by SpinX125, on Flickr 4 by SpinX125, on Flickr 5 by SpinX125, on Flickr 6 by SpinX125, on Flickr 7 by SpinX125, on Flickr 8 by SpinX125, on Flickr 9 by SpinX125, on Flickr 10 by SpinX125, on Flickr 11 by SpinX125, on Flickr 12 by SpinX125, on Flickr 13 by SpinX125, on Flickr 14 by SpinX125, on Flickr More pictures: https://www.flickr.com/photos/137767198@N08/albums/72157713834197663 In some areas I have found inspiration from other builders and therefore credit must be given to them. [MOC] Soldiers Outpost

My latest project. Soldiers Outpost I was a big fan of the first pirate sets as a child, so I had to throw myself in a pirate-inspired MOC. Two soldiers are standing guard, the third tries to catch something eatable, while the general is guarding the treasure. They have caught a pirate who has been sitting in jail for quite some time now. It is important that the soldiers make sure that the pirates don’t free their mate... hmm maybe it's too late. Of cause the general is holding on to the biggest treasure chest any man have ever seen, so if the pirate is escaping there is always a reason to come back and conquer the island. 1-DSC03262 by Thomas Mouridsen, on Flickr 2-DSC03270 by Thomas Mouridsen, on Flickr 4-DSC03244 by Thomas Mouridsen, on Flickr 16-DSC03236 by Thomas Mouridsen, on Flickr More pictures: https://www.flickr.com/photos/137767198@N08/sets/72157693362640134/with/38808853560/ https://ideas.lego.com/projects/51efedd5-a914-4d42-b8a0-edfbd0065b26

[MOC] My city/train layout for 2020

Thanks for your comment 1. My favorit train set must be 4563 "Load n Haul Railroad" for nostalgic reasons, my first 9V set, which i got back in 1991 2. I collect some of the Star Wars minifigures, but i only have some small sets, parts always end being used for moc's. Don't have space or money for everything, so i have to prioritize 3. I think my favorit for now is the Radio-shop 4. The original Emerald night was to expensive on secondary marked, so startede making on in pure dark green, but thought dark blue will look nice also. Thanks i will. Thanks. I hope to replace the "shrimp shack" by something custom at some point, but for now i think its fine Thank you. I will definitley look at your suggestions Thanks for your comment, instructions for the blue loco can be found here: http://snakebyte.dk/lego/instructions/trains/steam_engines/bavarian/index.php Thank you Thank you Thank you I have cut some thin "fibreboard" (i think its called) so it match the width between the train wheels, and glued them firmly.
  15. Now it has become my turn to share some pictures of my little train layout. It's a project that has been running since autumn 2015 and evolved over time, the space is not that big, the layout fills 4x7 baseplates (32x32) It’s my first attempt at building a MOC. The roadplates are raised so that they fit the railroad crossings and a little SNOT road has been made in front of the warehouse. The position of how the warehouse stands is determined by the shift track behind. The station is inspired by the set: 4554 Metro Station. All rails are raised with "Ballast" and tiled so they look better. One switch is by engine, so if two train sets are parked, I can choose which one I want to drive. The layout was shown at the Danish event “Klodsfest” in may 2017. https://www.flickr.com/photos/137767198@N08/sets/72157681704024404

MOC: Modular Radio & TV Shop

Here are some pictures from my latest creation. "Prebens Radio & TV" Preben is the second generation proprietor of the store, and he is therefore honored to offer the good service and quality that his father also did, although competition with various online stores is hard. He is known for his excellent service, and customers therefore come from far distance to shop in Prebens store. The store carries Radio and TV products in all price ranges, but Preben of course always ensures that the customer gets the best quality for the price. Ground floor contains: Access to apartment Shop with: · Exhibition of various Radio & TV products. · Test room with "home theater setup" here, customers can have a great experience before buying. · Possibility of testing headphones. · Various accessories behind the counter. · Customer toilet. 1.Floor contains: Preben and his wife's apartment, here Preben's wife makes things look good, Preben's taste for Radio & TV also shines through in the apartment. Behind the store, it messes with various cardboard boxes, and Preben's wife also has some flowers. 1-DSC03914 by Thomas Mouridsen, on Flickr 2-DSC03924 by Thomas Mouridsen, on Flickr 3-DSC03930 by Thomas Mouridsen, on Flickr 4-DSC03965 by Thomas Mouridsen, on Flickr 5-DSC03878 by Thomas Mouridsen, on Flickr 6-DSC03881 by Thomas Mouridsen, on Flickr 7-DSC03882 by Thomas Mouridsen, on Flickr 8-DSC03889 by Thomas Mouridsen, on Flickr 9-DSC03891 by Thomas Mouridsen, on Flickr 10-DSC03892 by Thomas Mouridsen, on Flickr 11-DSC03897 by Thomas Mouridsen, on Flickr 12-DSC03901 by Thomas Mouridsen, on Flickr 13-DSC03906 by Thomas Mouridsen, on Flickr 14-DSC03909 by Thomas Mouridsen, on Flickr 15-DSC03912 by Thomas Mouridsen, on Flickr 16-DSC03807 by Thomas Mouridsen, on Flickr 17-DSC03816 by Thomas Mouridsen, on Flickr 18-DSC03818 by Thomas Mouridsen, on Flickr 19-DSC03820 by Thomas Mouridsen, on Flickr 20-DSC03823 by Thomas Mouridsen, on Flickr 21-DSC03831 by Thomas Mouridsen, on Flickr 22-DSC03840 by Thomas Mouridsen, on Flickr
