That would be exactly the same reason why I want the Sherlock and Cleopatra minifig. And she would greatly match with the Pharaoh and mummies from the other series. For Sherlock Holmes, he would indeed fit in any steampunk creation, or atleast some parts of him. Not that I'm an expert in this, to be honest I've looked up more pictures of it than I made myself. And still that can be counted on one hand, or less. I wish for more though, so Holmes would be a great add. And as all of you might know by now, I love female minifigs. So if Lego releases any female versions of an already existing theme, I would gladly buy them. For they only appair in sertain set and I just want the minifig. Or are hard to find. So the Lego collectable minifigs are the solution for me. Sure I hope they make new versions of any female figure. But any of those would be great for my collection.

Same for me, only because I didn't manage to get those (did not bought those sets) and I would only wanted the figs themselfs.

The first one reminds me of some very stunning Lego steampunk that I saw on 'the net' lately. Realy like that in Lego, not as much as the real steampunk though Any steampunked stuff I do like btw., but not as much as Legolizes steampunk things.

But what about the boxes they are been sold in (or just the complete box). For series 1 you can clearly see the Spaceman and Clown on the flap. And those are both the biggest and standing in the middle. For series 2 it's the Karate Guy that standsout a little more forwards. Then the Elf and Rapper for series 3 and I'm wondering what minifig it would be for series 4 (and 5)

Anyone else did found any new pictures of that Kimono Girl? And just standing alone and w/o the stand. Because those I can find. Still looking for her, for my Lego minifig picture collection. I could also wait untill I got her myself and take a picture.

Totally argree on that, lets hope for atleast a 3rd but I would be even more happy if they would include even a 4th female minifig.

That's weird I live in Belgium (used to live in the Netherlands/Holland though) and when I last bought any series 3 they did had those dots. More clear and visable on the left than on the right, somehow. But I also noticed that even with the same minifig inside (by feeling = knowing) the dot pathern was different.

Amazing Lego work from on of the very first Lego toys! It all started in 1932 with wooden toys. The name 'Lego' was only be used 2 years later in 1934. From the beginning He (Ole Kirk Christiansen - 'Father' of Lego) alsways payed attention to the quality of his products. Which you can still tell from the Legos we can buy these days.

Is seems to me it doesn't have those spikes and it looks more like a stoneage rolling pin (or dohroller) but a dark(er) version.

I also gave them HP, def and (yet working on) attack, all based on those 3 stats/skills. Im wondering why they even got this, maybe to give us an idea of which on is better vs. another (when you would trade with someone)? And those skills are only on the site and not included on the instructions.

There will be more minifigs. Why would they stop making 16 per series and make them more pricey? Let's do some math (taking the example of 2 euro now and 3 later). 2€ x 16 = 32€ / 3€ x 9 = 27€ per full set and no spare. Lego would make less money on this reason but also on the fact that if some sees the prices thats lower (e.g. 2euro) they will buy it sooner than when it's a somewhat higher (e.g. 3euro). I don't see why Lego would make less minifigs per serie AND make them more pricey.

Like I told (a few post before) I made an excel sheet. On that sheet I filled in the BIO stats/skills and used a formula to see the most strong and weakest. This could be a base for any text-based lego minifig battle game, but only for the collectable ones. It gave me the idea to do something with this, since they gave them imaginairy strenght, creativity and speed. Edit: Welcome to Lego Minifig Deathmatch. And here in the left corner I present you the pitched Pop Star. And in the right corner of the ring we will see the phenomenous potential Pharaoh fighting. They both fight till death. Who will win and who will die, oh the crowd is going crazy. Hear that noize you can clearly see and hear that the crowd is plit in half its 50 % for the Pop Star and the other half for the Pharaoh. This is excitement! This will be a great match. Okay let's begin *ding*....

Thanks for the reply. Im still working on the figs' actual damage but got some interesting stats already (maybe even weird); The Robot from the very 1st series is far most the stongest. And weakest is the Space man. From series 2 both the Vampire and Karate Master are both even strong (actually even compaired with the Robot). The Pop Star is just a little ahead of the Pharaoh which is the weakest of this serie. Now on to series 3 (to stay on-topic). The Fisherman seem somewhat weaker than the Hula Girl/Dancer but still both at the bottom of strongest. Because that titel goes to: the ELF! with in second the Baseball Player and 3rd place goes to both the Space Alien as Villan. Only from the 'strongest' of current series, it is the Robot that's slower but more creative (ofcourse).

Does anyone know in what colour the bags for series 4 will be, or did I just passed reading it and did not see it? I do know what series 5 could be as we all saw the purple background on that scan. But I will not be (able) to do those (yet). I need to know because I'm making an excel sheet incl. each series with there colours. I might even try to rank them and use some formula to let them 'battle'. Like if they would ever turn into a fight, deside who would win. I will base them on the star rankings they got (creativity, speed and strength) on the official Lego website. Edit: strength was skill but all 3 are skills and I ment strength.

Since this serie is my 1st any so far only one I got fully complete (with a spare mummy), I thought I could get my missing figures just as easy. Yes easy! The fact is that they still sell series 1 and 2 somewhere near where I live. Still missing a Cowboy from series 1 and the Explorer, Weightlifter and Discostu from series 2. I will use the barcodes and some feeling to get all current missing figures to complete series 1 and 2. Then it's just waiting for series 4 to be released. And that will be around my B-day, YEAY!!

That's kinda ironic, I was hoping to get those guys somehow. Never managed to buy a 'Vikings' set. For that reason I'm very much looking forward to these/those. And since you assume they will be unpopular I could get myself some more of each. Anyway so far I love them all even the sherlock guy (did took a better look and saw some potential pieces). Btw. this is so weird, not having a single series 4 (YET!) And already talking about 5. Oh well very much to look forward to.

I dont think they will make both gender for all figures. But they made a surf guy AND girl (on her way). Or the male/female companions like they made a male skier and a female snowboader. What I most like about these collectable figs is that in other series they got a 'match' or even more than just 2 that match. For if that's realy going to be a Cleopatra in series 5, that would be a great add for the Pharao's Quest, with already the (living/none mummified) Pharaoh and the Mummy from previous series. Btw. that 'Godzilla' or Dino suit Guy makes me think he looks like Barney the Dinosaur, or is it just me? Im more than happy to see the cave woman and that bone trough her hair is super! Aswell the Dwarf, I always wanted to have but never bought me a set (vikings) and he will be suitable for a LotR theme and Vikings (with the series 4 Viking). So I must have those atleast 2 times. So far I already like 8 out of 9 character/figures (no need for the sherlock holmes guy). And las tto say; I don't think it's a 'verticly challenged' clown but a kid dressed himself to be one.

I don't see the problem with the plastic either. I do know the the differents (no black mark in the stud of the torso's and something with the arms). Still how bad is this? It's not bad at all! They don't fall apart when you pick or hold them by the arms, do they? The hands and arms keep in place. Atleast it's no megablocks junk... It is still Lego and I love them minifigs. Just like those minifigs that only appair in sertain sets, these colletable minifigs have a very strong charm and most of them I always want to have them (just missing out one or two figures in each serie, but I got series 3 complete)

I was thinking about making a baseball team, but what to use as baseball glove and is there a Lego baseball? That would realy be awesome. I was wondering why it wasn't include with the collectible Baseball player. Or atleast the ball. Maybe I will get another Tennis Player to get her an opponent. Or even better, get 3 more to make it a double. Just give them other head + hair pieces to make them all look different. But then how would I do the male torso... Or to solve this I would let it be a full ladies double tennis team. Another great idea just popped in my head. What if I get me 2 more Race car Drivers and make this stage nummerd 1, 2 and 3 and make them stand on it. But I'm lacking a silver trophy, which I dont got yet (Soccer player in series 4 has, including the black fes piece!). Or just use the golden trophy from the Karate Guy in series 2 and give 2 and 3 some money piece and flowers

I'm wondering if I should get any other doubles of this serie. Any suggestions (besides Elf or Gorilla suit Guy) ? Or should I wait for the next series?

I did used to dot system on my first 'attempt' but I found out when I deside to get them all it wasn't so accurate and usefull. So times when I felt trough the bag I felt the same pieces (e.g.: baseball bat and alien hat piece) but the dot (patern) was realy different. So from now on I would say: "To feel = to see = to know" So feel to know what's realy inside.
