  1. Post Your Superhero Minifig Collections Here!

Forgot about those disasters... thankfully they aren't a huge priority for me for some reason. I've got Excalibur Batman, but that's the only one. Hopefully getting Supergirl soon. Do you have all the others (Joker, Harley etc? Or are they exactly the same?).
  2. Post Your Superhero Minifig Collections Here!

@brew not a bad idea really, it must cut down the spending by quite a bit! Unlike you, I don't have any control and have to get each variant for both Marvel & DC even if it is the smallest change! I really enjoy collecting them, but part of me wishes I could pass up on some and not be bothered about trying to 'complete'.. even though I'll never be able to with all the SDCC figs I can't get! I've posted various pictures over the last few pages but nothing recently. Kind of waiting until I finish off my last pick ups before posting an update. I'm quite jealous of @Mat099 collection though which you'll see if you scroll back a little too!
  3. Post Your Superhero Minifig Collections Here!

@brew great little collection you've got going on! Do you stick to collecting DC? I quite liked the little box with the 60's Batman figs in too, creative! Had the last Justice League set I needed delivered yesterday. The Flash is great, as is Batman! Glad to tick that lot off my list now. I believe all I've got left for the year now is.. 2x Marvel Mighty Micros (Supes/Bizarro/WW/Doomsday) 2x DC Mighty Micros (Spidey/Scorpion/Wolverine/Mags) 1x TRU Bricktober Batman pack (when it eventually gets announced here in the UK properly) 1x Penguin Arkham prison suit variant from the book 1x Giant-Man/Goliath from the Marvel Super Heroes 2 game pre-order (again, when it gets announced in the UK properly) Maybe I'll nab me some Star Wars UCS bits before Christmas seeing as I'll be done with Lego! Quite pleasing actually.

Nice collection bud! I used to have that Mk 1, it's a good version isn't it? I love that gold chrome MIDAS armour too. I really wish Lego would make an official one of that. Roll on some more for the Infinity War releases . I need to get an updated photo attached, I've almost filled another frame!
  5. [PRESS RELEASE] 75192 - UCS Millennium Falcon 2017

A fellow Brighton store visitor! Shame to hear about the guy abusing employees - they have always been excellent in that store when I've been, and it's not their fault at all! Congrats on picking one up.

The flash looks pretty cool! Never thought I'd say that about a Brickheadz
  7. [PRESS RELEASE] 75192 - UCS Millennium Falcon 2017

@Robianco did you manage to pick one up bud?
  8. The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion

Still available in the UK. £2.23.
  9. Marvel Superheroes 2017 - Set Discussion

Cheers :) is it only with certain retailers at all do you know? Amazon has no mention of it sadly.
  10. Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces

Yondu - close . Bang on with Drax. Drax is a cool piece to be fair, the print on the body is really nice.
  11. Marvel Superheroes 2017 - Set Discussion

Does anyone know how we're getting the Giant Man / Goliath minifig yet over here in the UK? Is it a pre-order with Super Heroes 2 game?
  12. The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion

Are we getting a new Green Lantern? I completely missed this which set? I'd still love to see some arm printing though. Hopefully it's unfinished.
  13. The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion

It literally is just missing the hair/goatee and arm printing right? It's amazing how much they really set the figure off.
  14. The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion

I agree.. I think it looks awful! Trying to find a pic online of him in the movie and can only get a really blurry one, but looks like it might be correct. Lack of arm printing is a bit poor too. Same with the lack of back printing on CK and Egghead. It's like they've outdone themselves on the first lot, then gone "nah, these will do" on these ones? That said I really like the front of CK and the alternate head. El Dorado looks good too.
  15. DC Superheroes 2017 - Set Discussion

...or £30 in Debenhams for that matter. Just ordered!
  16. DC Superheroes 2017 - Set Discussion

Knightcrawler Tunnel Attack set just dropped to £39.00 on Amazon if you're based in the UK. Not too bad really! Spent way too much this month on Lego though.. oops!
  17. Marvel Superheroes 2017 - Set Discussion

Yes of course, I briefly saw some of the confidential pics but look forward to some official pics being released in all their HD glory. Me too - more IW than Black Panther of course for obvious reasons!
  18. Marvel Superheroes 2017 - Set Discussion

Am I right in thinking the only thing we really know further details about are the 3rd Wave of Might Micros for Marvel? Oh and that Juniors set with Scorpion?
  19. Is LEGO entering a Dark Age - or am I?

I'm with you. If I didn't collect Superheroes I'd probably collect Star Wars (I have a tiny amount but hardly anything). If that wasn't about? I highly doubt I'd be collecting Lego at all!
  20. DC Superheroes 2017 - Set Discussion

Same here. I know it comes with bricks and the book is more interesting, but I only wanted the fig so £17.99 was a bit much. I knew if I waited a little it would drop by a good amount as they all seem to in the end! Should arrive tomorrow :) Good price for the set really, I got it for that on Amazon, I guess they were price matching JL! Ended up selling off the build, supes and Wonder Woman for £45.
  21. DC Superheroes 2017 - Set Discussion

The John Stewart GL book (Build your own adventure?) is now £9.99 on Amazon for chaps in the U.K. Much easier to swallow than £17.99! I've been sending price matches for ages lol cheapest I could see online was £9.99 + £2.80 postage (haven't seen the £8 ASDA deal).
  22. The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion

That's what I might do to my one.
  23. The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion

Yeah Argos for £2.99. Although it appears they used to have so many in stock, but now my local one has hardly any it seems. Although I live near about 5! Just not the one I can walk to in 5 minutes lol.
  24. The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion

Hi bud, drop me a message. The Kiss Kiss ones are plentiful over here in the U.K. so I can nab them easily.
  25. Where are you based? It can be a struggle sometimes haha I collect exactly the same as you. I tend to do the following nowadays to collect my figs.. - Wait for sets to go on sale. I haven't picked up a set in a long time at full Lego RRP.. it just gets too expensive, quick! I tend to bide my time and they generally drop in price pretty quickly on Amazon etc (for new sealed sets direct from Amazon. Not minifigs from 3rd party sellers trying to rip people off). I buy the set, sell the build and keep the figs I need. The recent Justice League Flying Fox set for example... £100 in Lego? Got it for £60 on Amazon, kept Batman, Cyborg, 2x Parademons, Steppenwolf, Wonder Woman, Superman, the Motherbox and all their accessories then sold the rest of the set for £30. People are trying to flog Steppenwolf for £15-£20.. for example so screw buying that loose when I can do the above. - Wait for special deals (again, sales I guess), but Argos here in the UK do a 3 for 2 deal every now and then. It means I can pick up say 6 of the bigger sets, but only pay for 4. I also sell off everything else other than the figs/accessories so that helps me recoup what I've spent. During the summer, I picked up 6 sets for about £200 from the Super Heroes line, and I made a good chunk of that back after selling the builds. - Bricklink is still a good place. Some figures don't need accessories (Superman for example), and once you got a million batterangs from sets, Batman! There are a few, so you can use Bricklink for those. - eBay, sometimes you can get some cracking deals, but it can be expensive sometimes too. You just need to do your research on what that fig is worth. Going back to Bricklink to do this is a good idea to get a value. - Facebook Lego pages. I'm on about 3 or 4 and generally they seem to be a little cheaper than the likes of eBay or Bricklink. Obviously keep your wits about you, if something is too good to be true it probably is, and only ever pay using PayPal goods and services to cover yourself. As there are no eBay fees etc I think that helps people price a little lower. That said, if you're in the UK, I've got a Superman and Wonder Woman from that Flying Fox set you can buy haha. Lastly, seconding what @MAB, minifigs are generally not cheap, even more so with themes like Super Heroes / Star Wars etc. Sometimes you just have to suck it up and pay what they are generally worth. I see a lot of people on the Facebook pages trying to nab a bargain because they don't want to pay the going rates and it never goes anywhere.
