  1. Hello everyone from north Italy (Milan). I'm a fan of LEGO since I was a child and I own some sets. About one month ago I started to design some sets using Lego Digital Designer software and I'm fascinating about it ! As soon as I will finish something I will share with the community !

    [MOC] iveco 480.12 bus

Hi everyone ! Here is my first MOC, not built yet bust just made with LDD. It is taken from this real bus that has worked all around Milan in 80's years. Well, it is quite a big model but thanks to the big size I could make the opening doors and the steering wheel. It has 4 seats at the back, 3 on the right side (where there are doors), 6 seats on the left side and one driver seat. Before building it I wanted to make the roof opening. Every suggestion is welcomed !

    [MOC] iveco 480.12 bus

Some updates added: Internal back part: put 2 usable seats instead of 4 because those were not usable from minifigs (not enough space). Internal / external back part: added the engine accessible from an opening hood Internal front part: added the internal door for the driver

You are damned right, that movement is pretty complex to be realized with lego bricks. I made many researches all over the web and many many tests (on LDD) untill I reached this solution.

Thank you Jasper ! In theory the doors mechanism works. I'm not completely sure about it because I only tried it in LDD. As soon as I will have the pieces I will test it from real.

Thank you for your opinion / suggestion. About the roof it's a great idea ! About the transition area I haven't understood well what do you mean... I thought about using some curved pieces but I haven't found the transparent color for the front glass Ahahah I took it many times too ! That's why I decided to made it with lego Thank you !

    Review: 8157 Ferrari F1 1:9

Very good review ! I read it only now that I bought this set (used on ebay). I completely agree with the note about the rear spoiler: it easily detach once you take the model in your hands and that's a pity because for the rest it is a really solid model.

  24. Hello everyone ! I'm looking for an expositor for my Ferrari Lego set 8157 and I think this forum is the right place where to find a suggestion. My aim is obviously to protect it from dust. It is quite a big model that's why I'm facing some problem finding a good and not so expensive expositor. The sizes are: 65.2 x 38.4 x 9.6 cm (246 x 151 x 38 inches) And here are some other details: http://alpha.brickli...ge?S=8157-1#T=I Thanks in advance for any answers !
