Personally, I think these sets are actually pretty decent. Not sure I'll buy any other than the ones with Gwen and 2099, but I'm not suprised that they're going back to the same main villains. You've got to get the hits (i.e. Joker for Batman pretty much every DC wave) for newer kids and these are good versions of each of them, barring DOc Ock's arms. I do wish they'd name them better though, the names are honestly the worst parts of these sets... -

More than likely the mech isn't based off anything in particular. It really doesn't look like Sp//dr, and is clearly just based off the general shape of a spider in my opinion. -

I saw it on instagram. Torn purple clothes, purple legs with green printing. Green arms and purple hands. -

Just saw the green goblin torso. It's...fine. No dual molded legs and definitely not as good as the bridge battle one. Still just an orange head so who knows if the head will make up for it -

That Sandman is outstanding! Love the Nexo Knights piece they used for his lower body, absolutely perfect. Nice to have an updated Vulture too, but I wish they would print webs on Spideys arms like they did for the MCU minifig. -
If you look at the instagram post, it's almost certainly fake based on some of the other game names: Metroid Equestrian Races, Luigi's Mansion Pop!, Pokemon Diamand and Pearl remakes, etc. If Metroid Equestrian Races is real, Nintendo has fully jumped the shark. Or alien shark-horse, if you'll excuse my terrible joke.

Great review! I can't wait to get my hands on these. I do agree that Hooch needs a different hair though, although creating a new mold just for this character I guess was decided to be too much. I keep thinking Nakia's hair in grey would work, but I also feel like that's not pointy enough. -

I still can't decide wether I am buying this set or not! It is absolutely gorgeous, and it would be great to have those founder minifigs, and it's even cheaper than I thought it'd be...but it's still $400 for a set that I kind of already have parts of from the sets that released this month that I have no room for. BUT IT'S SO PRETTY -

Agreed. Love the character and her inclusion in an official set, but the minifig could definitely use more printing. -

Concretia "Connie" Mason is Brick. Pretty sure she's a woman. Defintely looks odd as a standard minifig, I think Voyd would have been better as she works as standard minifig and had a bigger role, but it's not a huge deal as far as I'm concerned, -

I added a garage and basement to fit my Marvel city. Basically used LDD to steal the design of the car sale garage from the old City Square set and change the colors to match the white mansion. Also squared it up a bit so that everything fit a bit nicer. -

These are so awesome! The FB CMF figures pretty much rule out me buying the suitcase set though. I love that the used the Han hair for Ron and Dumbledore looks PERFECT. Funny that the Voldemort we say a while ago and everyone (myself included) thought was fake ended up being real. Definitely getting all of these, probably a few extra for parts too! Not sure why they made a new suitcase mold but I like the way it looks slightly better. -

I was thinking the same thing for Hooch! I believe the old Bricktober sets could be purchased for $20 a piece if you didn't want to do the "free with $75 purchase deal" so I imagine these will be the same wherever they are released. -

I was just about to point that out. The entire front of the Gryffindor stand is different than the other three. Maybe it's so Hermione can "set fire" to Snape's cloak? I don't believe that was the Gryffindor stand but I could be wrong. -

Thanks! Really excited for these, I unfortunately missed most of the first HP sets but I will probably get as many of these as I can afford. All the minifigures look great, but I especially love that Harry and Hermione got new hair molds. I do wish McGonagall had the new dress piece instead though. -

I've been trying to catch up on everything, but I seem to have missed most of the release dates. I know that the Great Hall and XXX are August 1st and the Brickheads are July 1st, but what about the CMF, D2C, the rest of the FB sets and the rest of the HP sets? Are they all August 1st?
