  1. I think it’s time for a new thread were we can show und discuss Mods for the Razor Crest. Lego has done a good job. But there are some areas that could be done better with a few more parts. - Removed the spring loaded shooters - Shortened the big canons - Changed the color of a lot of plates and tiles (no red or white bricks anymore) - Closed the roof under the escape pod - Closed the section under the tail with a 8x4 Plate in LBG - Changed the middle section of the nose with a Flat Tile 4x1, a Flat Tile 1X1, 1/2 Circle and four Plate 1X2 W. 1 Knob - Of course the two lights are now in red - many more small changes The next step is the interior. I think the seats should be in dark red. Maybe we can add more details here. On reddit I found the idea with the gun locker. https://www.reddit.com/r/lego/comments/ina9fq/razor_crest_mod_spring_loaded_missile_holder_gun/ Here is my Razor Crest. I would like to see more Mods from the community. TRC_1, on Flickr TRC_2, on Flickr TRC_3, on Flickr TRC_4, on Flickr TRC_5, on Flickr
  2. Hello everybody! This is my version of the 75055 Lego Star Destroyer. SD_1, on Flickr I know there are many fantastic models from the Imperial Star Destroyers in this forum, such as Raskolnikov's ISD Aggressor. Unfortunately I do not have the space (and money) for such a big model. My goal was to make this ship a little bigger and keep the playability of the set. So I enlarge the original version of the size of the Lego Imperial Star Destroyer 6211 from 2006. The construction is similar to the original construction of 75055. You can just put it on the table and open the panel easily. I mainly used parts from the set 75190. Due to the weight I had to stiffen the underbody with long technic bricks and wedge plates. SD_2, on Flickr SD_3, on Flickr SD_4, on Flickr SD_5, on Flickr SD_6, on Flickr My model will also feature an interior. More pics will follow soon. What do you think about that? MAG85
  3. Since I started LEGO Star Wars in 2015, I wanted to own a Tantive IV. The sets from 2001 and 2009 were far too expensive on the secondary market. That's why I was really happy when a new version was announced. There was a lot of discussion about the set. Everyone had a different expectation. I am glad that it has become an improved version of the 10198. Nevertheless, there were a few things that bother me. The biggest criticism for me is the cockpit. I do not like stickers. In a few years they will take off and then the model looks bad. That's why I built it with bricks. The role model was the @Kit Bricksto UCS Tantive - CR-90 Corvette. More improvements: - Removed the stud shooters!!! - Removed the handle - Colour matching - Facing the bottom with inverted bows - Extension gun turrent on the botton - Radar turett mirrored down - Brickbuilt upper wings between conference section und radar tower My next goal is to change the inside of the cockpit, because at the moment, Captain Antilles can’t sit inside. Maybe you have more ideas for improvements. Then like to post here. Here are the pictures. 4. Nice that you like it. I have no instructions but you can use the studio-file from @Kristof: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1xwqR5If61CHMJRi23mkXojC-a_M56uCI/view I hope this helps. Have fun building the Tantive.

    [MOC] Spec Ops U-wing

Nice customized U-Wing and well presented. I also like your MOD of the classic Lego U-Wing.
  6. @mcphatty Thanks for sharing the instruction und the studio model. This was a lot of work. Two things I noticed: You can't open the side panels any more and I think the runners do not hold the weight from the razor crest.
  7. Yes, it's difficult to see your engine MOD. Maybe you can upload the pics in flickr.com and than share with a resolution by max. 800x600.
  8. I tried this a while ago. It looks okay, but in relation to the ship, the engines looks smaller. That's why I left it original. Maybe you can swap the element (4211637) in the middle for a smaller one.
  9. Here it is... TRC_11, on Flickr
  10. I had the same idea. The parts arrived this weekend. I will post a picture soon...
  11. I add some simply interieur to the cargo hold - tow archway and a removable carbonite freezer. In total there is not much space. I look forward to more ideas from you. TRC_10], on Flickr TRC_11, on Flickr
  12. +1 I would also be interested in detailed pictures of the canopy. The idea with a detailed landing gear was also in my mind. I try to make it removable. I also updated my cargo hold. A pic will follow.
  13. Sad, that you can't post pictures here. Your MODs sounds interesting. I have update my front end too. I can only recommend this MOD. The ship look now much better. TRC_8, on Flickr With the back off the engines i'm happy too. TRC_9, on Flickr @Hold0511 I tried to implement the light brick in the narrow down nose. It is not possible because the two brick 1X3X2 W / Ins And Outs.Bow (92903) are in the way.
  14. Yes, that's my fault - sorry. On the second look i see it. Cool, that you post your updates her. This is a good idea with the narrow nose. I have a update with the interieur. Mando has now a toilet and a sink. Behind a wall there is some technic from the razor crest. I use this drawing as a guide: https://thymewayster.tumblr.com/post/611032137095954432/so-im-trying-to-write-a-mandalorian-fic-thats TCR_6, on Flickr TCR_7, on Flickr I don't now if it's possible, but it would be cool to insert this light brick as a backlight for the two lights in the nose. TCR_8, on Flickr
  15. I think the front of the engine is the same like the Lego version?! But the back of the engine looks very good! Nice details in the cockpit. I have to update it too. The 2x2 round tile ist a very good idea. Thats cool, all the heros find their place in the cockpit.
  16. @all: Thanks for your feedback! Until now, I have no idea. There are MOCs with good looking engines. But mostly on the wrong scale for the Lego version. Thanks. I look forward to the pictures! The classic train guys did a realy good job.

    UCS A-wing Upgrade / Modifications

Your MOD look very good. Thanks for sharing the instructions. When I have the A-Wing I will do your modifications to.
  18. Hallo Eurobricks! Because of my dark ages I missed the great Milano 76021 set. So I bought the second Milano 76081 and rebuild it like the first Milano. I also did some modifications like the color theme, used the new canopy and the small wings are in brick build because of the missing panels. I hope you like it and comments are welcome. [MOD] Milano (76021+76081)

I took my Milano out of the box and modified it a little further. Milano-Update, on Flickr - the wings have been revised - the area behind the cockpit has been completely redesigned - the lower part of the fuselage is improved - the Milano is now sitting on a stand. What do you think? I am currently reworking the nose based on the 75081. More pics will follow.

    [MOD] Milano (76021+76081)

No, I haven't modifiy the back of the ship. You can see it in picture three. Only small Groot and Rocket is placed there. Your idea with the integration of the radio is good. I also like the position of the seats behind Star Lord. For more space the structure of the Milano needs to be revised.

    [MOD] 21322 - Alternate Model

Thanks for sharing your alternate model of the "leftover bay"! I also bought the set mainly because of the ship. The "leftover bay" is currently stored in a box. I will try to convert it with your template.

    [MOD] Milano (76021+76081)

Thanks for the praise. After I moved, the model stayed in the box for two years. It's time to bring it back to light. I think I will also add a stand in the future.
  24. @Kristof Thanks for the fast feedback and the studio-file. You are right, with your optimazation the end caps looks much better. The second version looks nice, but I also think its to big for this scale of model. The two studs in red looks to massiv for the cockpit. I will see how I can improve the 'neck' in the future. Thanks! Go out and buy it. Beside the cockpit it's a great model. An update version from LEGO of this ship will come in ten years
  25. Yes, you are right. the centerline of the neck with the red line is one stud to low. This section is nearly antouched from the original Lego model. It's not easy to change it. The problem with the grey 'round' endcaps is the odd number of bricks. So the shape is not round. Until now I have no idea for a better look. Here is the studio file of the cockpit: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1PwImy29vGfdpbiLohABa5kcLk7VCNsn9/view?usp=sharing
