Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
Fives replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I remember a while back there was a topic here for just the instructions from the sets. I can't find it anymore. Where is it? Thanks! -
This canon conversation is becoming off topic... I hope that LEGO does go back to those little sets that have more unique minifigs, like the old set that came out in 2002 with Dooku and Yoda. But I also think that TLG should keep the BPs. Possibly TLG could release the BPs during the January wave, and then have one small set in the summer with more specific characters, like Jedi or Sith.
-
I think that, if we were to get alien battle packs, they would most likely be Geonosian, but unfortunately CW, due to the release of the new Geonosian in the summer. But for next year, seeing as the BPs will be OT (and Endor is most probable), Then I could see the Rebel BP to have two Endor Rebels and two generic Ewok warriors, along with an Imperial BP with two Stormtroopers and two Scout Troopers.

Ya, we are in desperate need of a rerelease of the AOTC Clones. A battle pack with four plain, generic white clones would be fantastic, and no new molds! They would HAVE to be the original helmets from 2002.

Hello everyone! Recently I built a rather big (well, big to me) fortress, and I decided it was worthy of being posted on here. Here it is: Comments are greatly appreciated!

Hello everyone. I decided I would make a little diorama battle based on the Clone Wars. The Chancellor examines his plans: Nadahr is a little scared: General Koon leads the charge: The spider: Need a light: The mysterious commander: Comments are greatly appreciated!

This design is very nice. My favorite box design still is the original logo from 1999-2001. As for the people who think this art is just for the Hasbro toys, that is incorrect. The Rex design from 2010 was used on both LEGO and Hasbro boxes.

I think that Kingdoms needs to see a third military faction. More humans, but enemies to both the Dragon and Lion knights, giving reason for LEGO to possibly put the Dragon and Lion knights on one side to defeat the new guys. And with this they could release a fortress for them, and finally a suitable siege tower that works well with the walls of the castle. This new faction shouldn't be forestmen. They should be more villainous, but tis is hard without making them orcs or something. As for the colour... gold.

Ya, this battle had a major influence from Helm's Deep

Is that an orange droid body! Where is that from!?! Also, here is another from me: Palpatine: Um, Vader... You dropped your ice cream. Vader: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

Well, it said that the info originally came from Brickset.

I was just on Brickipedia, and they have a page for the rumoured Echo Base set. Apparantly is is slated for release in October and will be the biggest Echo Base yet. I wasn't sure if this info had been shared, so I decided I would share it anyway.

This one had a bit of inspiration from the latest Family Guy STar Wars episode, It's A Trap. Here you go: Man, those wooden sticks are strong!
-
Here is one more: Eventually George Lucas ran out of ideas for the Special Edition.

I have to disagree. I think raised baseplates give a lot more variety to the battle field if, say, the builder does not have enough pieces to make completely brick-built mountains or hills. I would like to have more raised baseplates because of how much variety they can give to the field.

The figure in brown in front of the King is a custom Aragorn from Lord of the Rings. I copied the design from some other guy I saw use it many years ago. I can't find it on the internet any more. As for the green peasant (I call him the drunk one) my friend just gave me him. He doesn't remember the set it came from unfortunately.

Nice little scene. Small, but nice. I love Lord of the Rings! Just one question: Why is he using an axe? Elves use swords and bows. Dwarves use axes.

When I think about it, I think it is better to just build your own castles. Sure you can buy other castles for parts, but then take the parts and make you own fortress. Thats just my opinion. But if I had to pick a castle, I would say... anything that contains classic minifigs from back in the 80's or 90's.

Here are a few more I have ready: Anakin: Where did you get that? Luke: It was yours. Anakin: !?! "I thought the Clone Wars were over." Vader: Boba, why are you so suddenly taller than me? Boba: Its how they designed me.

Thanks. I consider the Dragon Knights to not really 'evil', but more of a corrupt sub-group of the Lion Knights. I imagine that the Dragon Wizard has them all under a spell, like Sauron and the Haradrim and Southrons in Lord of the Rings. As for the design and set up, I oringinally had no intention of building the keep with the King's table in it, but as I went building, I just came up with it!

Clone O'Patra, that last one is hilarious! Great work!

The centaur was made from the centaur piece from Brickforge. I only have the one, but I love it. The rest of the body is just normal LEGO knight parts (with the exception of the helmet, which is the Brickforge Viking helmet.

I haven't seen this before! Looks interesting. It also seems that TLG and Scholastic are doing a LEGO Star Wars series of books. Neat.

Thank you! Here they are: "You know what, you should just stick with the classic hair." "Um, Master? Why are you so short?" "General Grievous... You're shorter than I expected." Easiest Halloween ever.
